Liberation of Socialist Oppression

Pschycotic Pschycos
23-11-2004, 01:43
After weeks of overwhelming intelligence reports, data was uncovered showing that the nation of Kaymiril was overrun by socialists. The Federation of Pschycotic Pschycos, a growing capitalist nation, felt the need to free the nation from the grip of the socialists....

Honimishu Castle, Pschycotic Pschycos (18:30)...
"We are sure that their government has been over run by socialists?" asked Shogun Yamato, leader of Pschycotic Pschycos.

"Yes, Sir, we are." replied General Nicoles of the PPI, or Pschycotic Pschycos Intelligence.

"All right then. Admiral Yamamoto, what fleets are closest to their waters?" asked Yamato.

"Shogun-sama, currently 6th Fleet is closest." came the quick reply. The Admiral had always been quick in thinking and intelligence.

"What is their complement?" questioned the Shogun.

"Sir, 6th Fleet is comprised of 4 Nimitz carriers, 5 Iowa Class battleships, 8 destroyers, 9 guided missile cruisers, support ships, and a few attack subs." was the response. Again, it was quick.

"Good. Have them get in cannon range, and fire a few test shots. I want to see what the socialists can do." ordered the Shogun.

"Our dossier tells us that thier nation has over 1 billion people, their military could surpass ours." warned General Nicoles.

"That's all right. We're just testing them, for now. If it gets out of hand, we can always call in some friends." responded the Shogun.

"True, true."

"Right. That it? Good let's go get them." he held up a glass in a toast. "To my father, and the nation he built."
------------------------------------------------
P.P.S. Sekigahra, 6th Fleet, International Waters (20:00 hours)...

"Commodore, orders from HQ." came the shout from the CIC.

Move fleet to 250 miles off Kaymiril shores, open fire on military emplacements. Cannons only.

"Hmm, interesting. All right, let's go. Helmsman! Put ship on these berings, Comm. officer, tell the fleet to follow! Level 2 battle stations, Level 2 battle stations!" ordered the Commodore.

"This shall be fun."

Queen Kaymiril VI sat at her desk, working through the endless bureaucratic nonsense that the Congress put on her daily. Her pen worked quickly, but her mind was really on the threat of attack she had received. Was it right to fire on a nation so much smaller? On the other hand, how much more right would it be to just roll over and surrender without a fight? Neither answer seemed appealing.

Grand Admiral Streea entered the room, her jet-black hair tied back in a severe braid which fell to her waist. "Our scouts have picked up enemy ships entering our waters. It looks to be a fairly large flotilla from a fairly small nation. Still...with the way you've taken care of our military, it should be no problem to eradicate them. The Queens through the years have kept a strick policy of peace and negotiations...and an equally strict policy of being prepared in case of such an attack."

"Eradication is not currently what we seek. How big, Streea?"

"Four Nimitz, five Iowas, eight destroyers, 9 GMCs, a coupla few subs, and the various and sundry supply ships. If we send out Commodore Eclave, he and his flotilla should be more than a match for them."

"Then May you Find your Glory."

Streea sketched a military bow. "Oh, one more thing, my Queen."

"Yes?"

"Their reason for pulling off this stunt is apparently to 'liberate' our people from socialism."

"That is amusing, Admiral."

Streea turned on her heel and marched out, leaving Kaymiril alone with her thoughts.

"Liberation...or tyranny and needless aggression?" She looks through her files, until she finds the one she is searching for. "Based on the choices he is making, I'd say he's more of a dictator...previous socialist regimes have failed because their essence remained dictatorships...we have a democracy...this is what our people decided, to give up some of the profit they could make in exchange for security and happiness for all. Liberation, bah. For five generations my people have lived in freedom. I am the sixth, and I'd hoped that this would be a peaceful era. ...It also seems that they have based their kingdom off of...Tokugawa Japan? Oh puh-leeze...then again, Tokugawa lasted a good six hundred years...have to give him that much. And then the Samurai were reduced to poverty along with everyone else, the court lived in opulence, and people starved. Then, one little toy boat and everything goes BOOM. Gosh, it's a good thing I'm alone right now..."

Commodore Eclave was walking the deck of his command ship, "Moksva" class "Chaos" when a sergeant saluted him. "Sir, a message from Grand Admiral Streea." The sergeant hands him a telegram and waits for his reply.
"Onward, men. We have enemies headed toward our shores. Are the "Valvos" and the "Evnat" ready for departure?"
"The nuclear subs have been ready for weeks, sir."
"Good. Ready them, as well. The ships are reportedly sixty years outdated, but Nimitzes can pack a punch yet. I want us moving yesterday, Sergeant."

The order spreads down, and a flotilla of a Moksva class vessel, a couple of Kirov-class cruisers and Spruance-class destroyers, as well as the two nuclear subs, supply ships staying nearer to the mainland, and different types of warships unique to Kaymiril, each averaging about 5K tonnes displacement.

"Stay out of their cannon range... we can shoot farther than they can. Bring her hard aport and hold." To himself: And now we see what this fleet can do...

Honimishu Castle, Pschycotic Pschycos...

"Shogun, SATCOM is reporting a mobilization of naval forces." said the voice on the speaker phone. "We might have met our match."

"We haven't met our match. We spared with the Dersconi Superfleet, and came close to erasing them, remember?" returned Shogun Kira Yamato. "Don't worry, I'll get Admiral Yamamoto IV on the phone immedeatly."

"Yes, Sir!" -click-

"Lieutenet Murdoch, get the Admiral on the line." ordered the Shogun.

"Yes,Sir!"

Several minutes later...

"Shogun-sama?" began Admiral Yamamoto.

"Ah! Admiral, good to here you. What is the status of 7th and 8th Fleets." asked the Shogun.

"7th Fleet just rendevouzed with 6th Fleet, and 8th Fleet is about 3 hours away." replied the Admiral.

"Good, very good. proceed at full speed. The Arkhangle and Herald will be invaluable, as well as the Ghost and the rest of the Pices Classes." said Yamato.

"Aye, Aye sir!" -click-
-------------------------------------
The Arkhangle and Herald were two massive Battlecarriers. Each was an oversized Iowa Class Battleships, with 3 foward and aft turrets, sandwhiched between the two Nimitz sized carrier decks. Each is capable of supporting 15, 4 plane, squadrons of F-14s, including the countries mest pilots, each with over 100 kills. They were the pride and joy of Pschycotic Pschycos.
-------------------------------------
The Pices Class ships were large Battlesubs, enlargend Iowa Class Battleships, again, with three foward and aft turrets. It's able to submerge, and, using a CAT Mobility System, travel underwater making as much sound as a school of fish, a sound normally filtered out by SONAR. It has the ability to surface in the midst of a fleet, fire, and submerge without worrying about being hit. However, it becomes suceptible to subs while trying to escape.
------------------------------------
P.P.S. Arkhangle, 8th Fleet Flagship, 150 miles from 6th Fleet...

"All right folks," started the Admiral. "I want all flight crews ready for launch. We might be needed to back up 6th Fleet if they come under attack by enemy naval air power, especially you, Strike Squadron. Let's go!" shouted the Admiral. "All hands, Level 1 Battle Stations, Level 1 Battle Stations!"
--------------------------
6th Fleet...

"Tell the fleet, launch all air power! Tell them to attack the enemy fleet!" shouted the Commodore. "Get the Iowas to launch HARPOON anti-ship missiles at the approaching fleet! Tell the subs to form battle screen, and keep on the alert for enemy subs! Let's go, let's go!"

On the flight decks of the Nimitzs, things were getting hectic. The elevators were working overtime trying to get the planes on to the decks. The air was being shattered by the sounds of revving jet engines and steam catapults. Views from afar showed scores of specs leaving the decks as fast as they could...
---------------------------------------
P.P.S. Ghost, 7th Fleet Flagship, under 6th Fleet.

"Commodore, we have new orders!" shouted an ensign.

"Give it here!" said the Commodore.

Move to intecept enemy fleet. Maintain strict silence.

"All right then. Activate the CAT Mobility System. Use your keyboard terminals, no talking!"

"Yes, Sir!" went the chorous of shouts.

"We'll show them the power of the Ghost Fleet!"....

*Two F-22s from the nation of Orion_ofthe_stars doing a flyby check for their ally friend Kaymiril*

Sgt Colm O'Brien: *over voice radio* "Colnel, do you see what I see?"

Colnel Mackenzie Calhoon: "If you mean by the enemy adding onto their fleet then yeah I see what you see."

Sgt Colm O'Brien: "What should we do?"

Colnel Mackenzie Calhoon: "Fly back to Kaymiril's military headquarters and report the information. What type of ships and the approx of how many. I'll fly back to Orion and Report it as well. If the situation gets any more dire, we may get permission to mobilize the airforce and the navy. Go."

Sgt Colm O'Brien: "Yes sir."

*The two planes separate and go their different ways*
Kaymiril
26-11-2004, 03:15
Sgt. O'Brien's report is received by the Kaymiril military installation, and it quickly moves through the ranks to Admiral Streea, who takes it to the Queen.

"This runt is not playing chicken. It seems we may have to show them our serious might, my Queen."

Kaymiril sighs, and looks out the window.

"Our first Queen was a warrior...at the price of much blood, she won this country...nay, the very island, the very CONTINENT the peace it lives under today. I was hoping that our generations might still be under her protection."

"My Queen, even the grandest peace does not last forever. The Pax Romana was a few short centuries long, the Pax Mongolia even shorter. The Pax Kaymirila is coming to an end...but how long of an end, and will the new one bring peace back to our region? We are not at war amongst ourselves, but sometimes there is restlessness...sometimes war is the best thing for peace."

"The tongues of fire, burning bright,
throw out naught but endless night.
In the wake of fire there is death,
But in fire lies life's own breath.
The flames of war fan just as hot,
blood flowing bright as fire.
Purify, purify, by your light!
Peace we sought, but by our might
This will not pass, this cursed attempt
To hold our nation in contempt.

"So said Kaymiril the first over seven hundred years ago. We will not fear even if we do not understand, unlike the lowly swine who dare to insult the way we CHOOSE to live. Admiral Streea."

"My Queen?"

"Mobilize the navy. Seventh and Twelfth should be enough for our purposes at present. Fire at will."

.............................................................................

Seventh and Twelfth navy units mobilize and join Second

Commodore Eclave went aboard Commodore Ad'huast's "Inomine" as the Seventh and Twelfth joined him.

A -- "Welcome aboard, Commodore"
E -- "Thank you, Commodore. What are the orders?"
A -- "The Queen's orders were to fire at will. Grand Admiral Streea's orders are to exterminate the current threat, and prepare for the next."
E -- "Then I will scramble my forces. You are the senior officer, Commodore, out of yourself, Commodore Baker, and myself, so we will coordinate to your orders."
A -- "Very good, then."

Surveillance Satellite HSS-1332A sped along it's orbital path at great speed, upon picking up a transmission from the surface, readjustment boosters fired, sending into the area over the Pschycotic Pschycos fleet.

Prime Minister Zyteslav watched the satellite feed with interest.

"A rather pitiful fleet, if I say so myself..." he remarked to no one in particular.

He pressed one of the many buttons on his desk, and said, "Secretary, please send this message to the leaders of Kaymiril, please..."

Greetings, my socialist comrades. I see that a rather impudent
capitalist nation is causing a bit of trouble with you. If you request it,
Hattia would be quite glad to lend a hand, if need be...

Honimishu Castle, Pschycotic Pschycos....

"Our fleets need a little backup, sir." said one of the Shogun's military advisors. "What shall we do."

"I don't want to unleash every thing at once..." began Kira.

"They'll never know it was the 52nd." cut-off the advisor

"You're right, at night, deploy the 52nd Airforce to our foward base in Cumberland Valley, they won't mind." said The Shogun.

"I'll put the order out, Sir." finished the advisor.

"See to it. My father founded this nation on an ideal. That people should freely be able to make and spend money at their descretion. Now that he's dead, we must carry on his dream. His blood should not go to waste." said the Shogun, a small tear in the corner of his eye. His father, the late Shogun Kamikaze had died two years earlier in a war that had begun as a mistake, when Kira was only 15 years old. Kira was forced to deul his brothers to be heir, and unfortunatly, he won, at the expence of his brothers. He had never forgiven himself.

Pschycotic Pschycos AFB....

"General, we got some orders." shouted Major Wills.

"Hmmm? Let me see them son." he said. "Very interesting, deploy to foward base under cover of darkness. No problem. Chief! Get the planes gassed and ready to go."

Yes, Sir!" shouted the Chief.

3 hours later, the 52nd was long gone, into the night.

6th Fleet attack force, 300 miles from enemy...

"This is Gold Leader to force, move to effective range, and let lose those HARPOONs!"

"Roger...Hey! Incoming!" responed someone.

"What?! Quick, identify them!" shouted Gold Leader.

"Relax, don't have a cow." said a mysterious voice.

"Strike Leader?" asked Gold Leader.

"Well, the Admiral thought you might need some back up." responded SL.

"We might, nice to have ya aboard." ended GL.

(Oh, and my "pitiful" fleet is about to rendevouz with a fleet in excess of 200 ships, mostly carriers and battleships. Watch yourself, someone else underestimated me, and a lot of their ships are now at the bottom.)
Kaymiril
26-11-2004, 18:47
Admiral Streea marched soundlessly across the deck of her flagship, the Kaymiril I. Kaymiril VI had ordered an entire mobilization of navy and airforce...Kaymiril's fleet of 1000 battleships was quite large for a nation with so little beach...then again, all the region would respond to an attack against any, and it made sense that way. She was just glad that so little of her naval might had to be spent on supplies.

Getting to the bridge, she looked over the reports on the enemy vessels. "Either his Iowa class vessels should sink, or they're a mile long. Only worry about the Pices class should they choose to not submerge...they submerge, they can't shoot. Looks like General Ramsted has some nice clear targets out there...and we're the "defensive" nation here. We can get altitude advantage easy, although I'll let Ramsted do his job. In the meanwhile...

target their Nimitz class with all guns, let the airforce worry about the Iowas
Guns swivel in their turrets to readiness, the gunners behind them ready and waiting.

General Ramsted ordered full mobilization of the airforce, the fighter class Black Widow II along with the F-18Es, F-16s, F-15s, F-35s, F/A-22s, the attackers AV-8B, and the bombers B-2s, B-52Hs, B-1Bs, along with other squadrons of fighters, bombers, and attack planes. Kaymiril squadrons came in units of twelve, and were further divided into units of four, and then into wingmates. The military had long found this effective not only to keep men alive, but to maximize the number of enemy casualties.

Fifteenth, Nineteenth, and Thirty-First stay with Admiral Streea. Rogue, Kalidor, Atlantis, Fiddleback, Venom, and Wraith, I want you to down those souped-up Iowas

Streea looked in the sky, seeing all in readiness.

Fire

Ramsted clicked the order into his keyboard, so that all the men in the squadrons would see the order.

Fire. Primary targets are guns and carrier decks. Hit the engine room if you're that much of a crack shot.

"The Sun shines and sets on all equally. Its light is cold, but it burns. The moon is gentler...and more fickle in her favor. Full moon night tides favor our fleet. Whatever gods smile down upon my people, grant them victory this night, however long it may last."
Kaymiril VI meant the old blessing with all her heart, trusting to Streea and Ramsted to do their jobs and bring her men home safely.

A thousand miles away, the night was lit up by fireworks....fireworks of death.

Colnel Mackenzie Calhoon: "Capitalists...They don't know what's good for 'em, but sir we--"

Orion II: "Activate the airforce, I'm sure Kaymiril's navy will be good enough, send the Phantom IIs, the Tigers, Tigersharks, and the Kfirs. Advisor N'ran knocks on the door of Administrator Inam'Rata's office.
After waiting three seconds, he opened the door, the ears on his felinoid head pulling back and his tail flicking gracefully. The stripes that ran across his face marked him as a Northern Inaite, while Inam'Rata's small, dainty spots marked her as a Westerner, and her eyes, blue striped green, marked her as Ruling Class, where his eyes, solid yellow, told that he came from humble origins.

"Yes, Advisor?"

"Aircraft are headed to us from Orion's kingdom. They request that they can refuel here before going on to aid Kaymiril."

"About the capitalist threat? Yes. Refuel them, and add the new Hawk class bombers to their troops. Have Commander Xaphir break off when they get to the main Kaymiril fleet and see about the new fleet coming in. Kaymiril's navy is formidable, so she shouldn't need too many more ships."

True. History shows that none of the Kaymiril line has ever been willing
to sit and take no action while her people suffer. This one is more
concientious than most, though...and she doesn't want to see the other
nation's people to suffer, either. In the end, it may be better if she unlocks

"Shogun-sama, it appeares that we are in deep trouble with our navy." said one of his advisors.

"We're fine, the rest of our navy, some 1500 ships is on its way. Remember, we only have to hold out for a short time, at least untill Czar Andropov and Phoenix King return. In the mean time, contact the head of the space department, get the launchers ready, and above her fleets. And how is the LIBRA Project going?" said the Shogun.

"Well, Sir, LIBRA only has its main cannon and 1 power generator in place. If fired, she will only have 25% power, or roughly 5 square miles blast radius." responded the advisor, tapping keys on the laptop. "It appears that the wave generated by a hit on water would devestate only 2 more square miles of ocean, a total of 7. And I just sent the order, the launchers will be ready in a few hours."

"Hmmm... very well. Our intelligence is right? They are a socialist nation, right?" asked Kira.

"Yes, your Honor. It's what your father would want." responded the advisor, hiding the grin behind the laptop screen.

"Fine, I don't like this, but if you all think it is right, than we can only go foward. Wire Koala Mountain, tell them to be on alert. By the way, how goes the MS Project?" asked Yamato.

"It is going brilliant! We have about 20 prototype mass production models ready for battle." responded the advisor.

"Very well. Let's go." finished the Shogun.

600 miles above the World...

*beep*

*beep*

About 25 Tungesten Missile Launchers all received the order at the same time. They all began moving to the position of the Kaymiril fleet at the same time. As they moved over the fleet about 3 hours later, they took aim, each at ten different ships each, as to avoid hiting the same one twice, which would be overkill.

*beep*

*beep*

*BEEP*

On the third beep, all 25 let lose their 10 Tungesten missiles, tipped with White Phosphorus warheads on the Kaymiril fleet. They would hit the ships, on the center of the flight decks of carriers, and dead center on the rest of the ships at speeds of around mach 28.

8th Fleet Defencive Force...

"This is Aegis Leader. All squadrons, report in." radioed Aegis Leader.

"Blitz Squadron, ready."

"Duel Squadron, ready."

"Freedom Squadron, ready."

"Justice Squdaron, ready."

Calamity Squadron, ready."

It went down the line, all 100 squadrons reporting ready. All 400 planes and their crews were ready to die for their country.

"Here they come everybody. Pick your targets and fire." shouted Aegis Leader

"Roger!" came a chorous.

The planes started launching Phoenix ATA missiles toward the incoming missiles in an attempt to stop them.

"Blitz, Duel, Buster, Freedom, and Justice Squadrons, I want you to get whatever fired those missiles." ordered Aegis Leader.

"Roger." came the simple answer, and the squadrons pealed off to counter-attack. As they came in range, each let lose its 6 Phoenixa ATA missiles.(120)
------------------------------------------------------------
6th Fleet...

"Commodore! Incoming missiles, incoming missiles!" shouted the radar operator on the Sekigahara.

"Tell the CIWS and Phalanx cannons to prepare to fire at those who get through!" shouted the Commodore.

"AYE, AYE!"

An island in the middle of the Inland Sea, Pschycotic Pschycos...

The sword sat in a stone block, faintly glowing. Whatever made it glow was unknown. Kira Yamato strode toward it.

"I don't know if I will need it, but I may just get into a duel here." he said, the words echoing off the marble walls of the temple. Unconsciencely, he drew it with his left hand instead of his right. When he realized what he'd done, he became astonished. The only other left-handed swordsman ever in the country to use this blade was the man who forged the blade and had used it to help create the World, or at least that's what their legend said.

"Am...am I the heir? The only way to know is to battle with it." he thought. Kira slung it over his back, attached his own katana to his left hip, and the Reichyevich Family Sword to his right hip, and exited the temple. He turned to his top advisor and said, "Is Freedom Gundam ready?"

"Yes, Your Majesty. Why do you ask?" he replied.

"I might need it to bust into their capitol, if I need to duel her myself." responded the Shogun. Everyone around him had astonished looks on their faces, Kira's best friend among them.

"He's always so sad now," thought his best friend, Joey. "He never smiles anymore, and he always looks on the verge of tears. What happened?"

They all returned to the transport. Kira was ready to sacrifice himself to what he thought was his father's ideals.

((This comp is messed up and I have to hope that Kay will let me in later. So, here's an Ina post for now.))

J'zrn, from Ina's military satellite position, noted the movements of PP's satellites, and sent this message to the leaders of Ina.

PP stars to shoot stardust at darkelf duckies. redirect or flame stardust?

Advisor N'Ran burst into Administrator Inam'Rata's council chamber, at about the same time a raven flew in and perched on the back of the chair.

"Administrator, have you seen this?"

"Yes. I'm sending him an answer. What's the status of the rest of their military?"

"A fleet of 1500 on its way, along with the fighters we've heard about. Hawk Eye gave us some specs, but not many."

"He's too small to have a fleet of 1500, as well as military satellites, and an airforce, as well as new tech. What does he do to his people, starve them?"

Inam'Rata's fingers were rapidly working her keyboard. "Mobilize the airforce and navy, N'Ran. I don't care if we're sending out biplanes, if it can shoot, get it out there. This is too much."

N'Ran left and sent this message to the military.

Get the birds in the air and the fish in the sea, we leave for Kaymiril now. Scramble.

J'zrn recieved this message from Ina.

Redirect stardust to PP shores and duckies, maybe even to buzzer-birds.

600 miles above the earth, Ina's military satellites converged around PP's. J'zrn was too smart to attack the mainframe directly, so he hacked into a subsystem on the control unit, then fed in a trinary code under the main program's binary instructions. He worked quickly, knowing that he only had a limited amount of time. Meanwhile, identical satellites were setting up a lazer web, to catch any missiles that went where they weren't supposed to go. He wrapped up his task, then held his position. He had done his best to redirect the missiles toward their own ships. He then sighed. Stardust wasn't fun up close.

*back in Inam'Rata's council room*

The raven hopped off the chair and transformed herself back into her normal state. Her coal-black skin contrasted with her icy-white hair, and her tropical blue eyes gave her an air of warmth. All told, Crown Princess Anastriana of Kaymiril looked exactly like her mother.

"Ana, what are the tidings?"

"Enais is going back to mother, and Dora' is summoning them. Mother's too busy trying to make this a quick and decisive victory, so maybe you can send a message to Shogun Yamoto?"

"Message?"

"We were watching him and his council members work. This goes against everything he believes. His advisors are playing him for a fool though, as many councils do with a child ruler. If their Shogun gets killed, they can take over the country. He also seems to think he may be able to face my mother in hand-to-hand combat. Got a crazy-looking sword, too...seems to be a left-handed blade...definitely enchanted, I can tell you that right now."

"I will send the message, Ana...but I don't know how your mother would take it."

"My mother merely wants an end to this war with as few casualties as possible. If the ruler of that country sees that he's being duped, this may be wrapped up quickly." With that, the young Princess, barely eighteen, changed back into her raven form and flew away, back toward her own queendom.

Inam'Rata sighed and sat down to write the letter.

To: Shogun Yamoto Kira, of Pschycotic Pschycos
From: Administator Inam'Rata of Ina

You are seventeen. Your council advisors are power-hungry. Your father,
although I did not know him, had a reputation for being a wise man. What he
wanted was a better world for himself and his people. Look around you. Is
what you see going to uphold that ideal? Kaymiril's new technology, once
unleashed, can level your country in seconds, and I have no doubts that she
will be calling together ancient powers to prevent any more damage being
done to her side. Call it off...it is not Kaymiril who is your enemy. It is
yourself. If the actions taken by my country seem to be hypocritical to my
letter...we must all act to save that which we value. Kaymiril is at the heart
of our region...you attacked her without any reason. You have magical
devices that you know nothing about. Kaymiril is a powerful mage...you could
learn from her. Find the true motives of your council men, child. From there,
it is up to you.

Sighing, Inam'Rata sent the message. She could only hope that it would get through to its target. Kaymiril would see it through to the end, whichever way it went. She could only hope that the child king would realize his error.

*Orion II King of Orion chuckles slightly and sends a message to the ruler of Ina*

I think I know why this whole war got started. It's not the capitalist/solcialist conflict. It's because what's his face lost his teddy bear and he thinks Kaymiril has it. Maybe he should take yoga...
Kaymiril

((Haha, there is hope yet.))

Kaymiril VI walked through the gardens, on her way to where she had asked her second daughter, Dora'nes, to summon them to. Kaymiril had a magnificent military, but did not invest in futuristic technological innovations. There was a reason for that. The Queens of Kaymiril were not so negligent as to overlook military advancement...but the ancient ways many times proved infinitely better.

The walks branched out in eight different directions, other than the one directly from the palace. The central courtyard was a little bit oblong. From the air, it would look like a giant spider hung by its thread from the palace.
About halfway down the walk, a shadow hovered over her for a moment, and she raised her arm out to her side as a hawk swooped down and perched. It immediately started cheebling at her, and she looked at it coldly.

"Now, Enais, you know as well as I do that I cannot understand you when you cheeble like that."

The hawk hopped off her arm and transformed back into himself. "Sorry, Mother." He was a handsome youth, his ebony skin and crystalline white hair framing eyes of a mahogany brown...almost red. "That Shogun of theirs is barely my age. When his father's head rolled, he and his brothers had to fight for succession...kinda stupid, when you see that we train from birth the royal child best suited to rule. The best warrior is different from the best ruler, and that's why Ana is Crown Princess instead of her twin. Oh, yeah, he seems to think he might want to take you on himself, mano y mano, end of show."

"For now, though, we have much different concerns, my son."

By this point, she had reached the end of the walk. They, Kaymiril's Elite Magic Users, had arrived as ordered. This unit was not even named, not mentioned, save in legend. It was perhaps the only big secret Kaymiril had from the rest of the world. Not even the other nations in her region knew about it.

Four men and women stood at the ends of the eight walks, cloaked.
The pair from the West were the first to speak. "We have set up a barrier in the stratosphere to protect the nation from damage. Phospor warheads were thought of in ages past...they will be no problem."

Kaymiril nodded at the white cloaked pair. "Zora, Kentron, you have my thanks."

Next were the blue-robed pair from the East. "There is something in the water...we're locating it now."

"Thanatos, Ji, expediency is appreciated. From two years ago we know they have a "ghost fleet"...knowing where to hit would help."

From the north, there was one in red and one in brown. "The earth shakes in fury at the blood already spilt. This will be best if ended quickly."

"For now, though, Vars and Samelea, we have to do the best we can."

The pair from the South were cloaked in gold and silver. "There is much tragedy to happen. This we can forsee. It will be worse if we delay until his reinforcements get back...expediency is required from you as well, our Queen."

"Taken under advisement, Namir and Calas. We are doing the best we can. We have prepared rooms for you, until this is over. Until we meet again."

At this dismissal, all ten people vanished from the gardens.

Inam'Rata reads Orion's message and starts to laugh.

*rolls eyes sarcastically* It's his funeral. I've met chunks of cheese
with more cunning plans. What's he think this is, Battleship? And it's probably
not over a teddy bear...after all, Enais is about his age and he's more into
race cars and extreme sports.

((Oh, and PP...Orion and Ina are probably about the closest two nations in the Temple. They're just jokin' around.))

Honimishu Castle, Pschycotic Pschycos...

"Kira, don't you realize that you're being controled?" asked Joey. "I mean, your father wouldn't wage war randomly."

"I don't know right now. I just don't. My father always listened to his council, and these are the same people. I don't see a reason why I shouldn't."

"Don't you think you're being taken advantage of..."

"Shut up! You don't get it! You aren't responsible for several million people!"

"You shut up! Look at yourself!"

"Kiss it!" yelled Kira, and slammed the door on his way out.

About an hour later, after some deep thinking...

"I have called the council together to announce that I will be removing all forces, and stopping this senseless bloodshed. My father would not be proud." said Shogun Yamato.

"Hmm, troubling." replied his lead advisor, Shinota. "Well, we have a back up plan...GUARDS!"

"What the hell?" stuttered Yamato in utter confusion.

"Ha, we were controlling you, don't you see?" responded Shinota. "Lock him in his room.

Minutes later, he was forcefully thrown into his room, the lock clicking behind him. Luckily, his swords hadn't been on him, and they were with him in his room. He sat on the floor for quite some time while thinking of his next move. An open drawer in his cabinet caught his attention. He walked over and peered inside. In it was an envelope. It was his last birthday present from his father, the late Shogun Kamikaze (don't ask). He decided it was best to open it now. In it was a letter.

Kira,

These have been some rough times for you, and I apologize. This might not seem like the greatest birthday gift but it is some thing your brothers will never have, they were never as clear headed as you are. What I am about to pass to you is our family's most sacred fighting style, known to none but us. It is called Shinowippu. Using it, you can use your own will to paralyze a foe.

"That's right, I saw it before, but I didn't know what it was." he thought. His father was almost assasinated, but his assailant seemed to freeze before he could pull the trigger.

This style needs great practice before it can be used on even the most simpleminded opponent. I hope it serves you well.

Love,
Shigiru kamikaze

"Well, I better get on it."
--------------------------------------------
Honimishu Castle...

"I don't want this little fiasco to leave this castle, understand?" said Shinota. "I want them to think the kid is still in charge, otherwise, the whole plan goes sky high. Now tell the Ghost Fleet to open up."
---------------------------------------------------
7th Fleet Flagship, P.P.S. Ghost...

The 7th Fleet battlesubs sat approximatly 800 feet underwater. There was absolute silence, no whispers, no footsteps, no nothing. In fact, the captain swore that he would shoot the first person to fart. They only communicated using intership IM and silent keyboards. Their target, the Kaymiril Fleet

To Bridge: CIC here, Kaymiril fleet approaching, no subs in area.
Bridge: Alert at time to surface.
Bridge to main cannons: Rotate to these bearings.
Ghost to fleet: Prepare for surface.
CIC to Bridge: Surface in 3...2...1...Mark!
Ghost to Fleet: Surface!

The hissing of escaping air sounded just like the surf overhead to SONAR...
------------------------------------------------
Kaymiril Fleet...

It was a calm, quiet night. The crescent moon shone dimly upon the fleet. In the ocean, shadows appeared. What at first appeared to be periscopes broke the surface. However, they climbed higher, until they were revealed to be rigging. As the rigging rose, the ghostly green flame of St. Elmos fire ignited on the spars and lines of the mast. Superstructure and turrets were revealed, with glowing green slime dripping from the superstructure and decks. The ghost fleet had surfaced. In one giant blast, each of the 10 ships let its 6 turrets open at near point blank range to the Kaymiril ships. Then, they submerged again. As they sank, they each moved beneath a different ship, and used verticle torpedo tubes to shoot 18 torpedos straight up into the undersides of the ships.

"Now, let's get below the thermal layer before the subs get a lock." said the Captain, stealth no longer a concern. He knew the subs would be on them in a minute.
---------------------------------------
Days later, Shogun Yamato was able to escape using the Shinowippu style on his guards. No one has seen him since.

((Actually, it only took him about half an hour to adapt them. But in all honesty...I thought that version was funnier than the original.))

Commodore Ad'huast was on deck when he heard an expletive leap from one of his crewmen. "Sir, what's that!" He looked over the rigging to see what appeared to the a ghost fleet surfacing. "Dammit! It's that thing we heard about." He grabbed the nearest mike he could find. "Inhala fleet, brace for impact, repeat, brace for impact!"

As the missiles hit the ships, some started sinking, and there was a general scrambling for lifeboats, and most got to different ships. Those that could started heading back to port under their own power.

All told, about thirty crewmen were lost...miraculously low...but a price far too high.

-----------------

The Black Mage stepped onto the deck of the QMS Kaymiril and handed Admiral Streea a message.

S -- The Queen says to pull out? But what for?
The mage's eyes were hidden under a hood, and the cloak did its job in disguising the gender. Streea had hoped to know who this was by the voice, but magic had disguised the voice as well. It was flat and androgynous, and not a little unsettling.
B -- The Legend is coming to pass. The Queen did not wish our ships to be damaged in the Summoning.
S -- Yes...I'll send word.

Unsettling...this was all unsettling to Grand Admiral Streea. The two in blue cloaks, a man and a woman, were standing on stationary waves, that had risen for them, and the rain did not seem to bother them at all. The man and woman in white stood on the air, kept dry by ever circling air currents. And it was impossible to tell just what the Black Mage was doing. However, a message from the Queen was not to be ignored.

"Incoming!" Shouted an ensign, but the white figures merely glanced up, while the blue and black figures ignored it. The missiles seemed to strike a solid wall, a couple of miles in the air, and shattered.

The Black figure nodded at the Whites. "Good work, Zora, Kentron."

The ships finally started underway, and Zora raised her arms.

"Moist winds from the east, dry winds from the west, hear me, daughter of Melanor. I call you to me, I call on your might!"

Kentron then raised his arms. "Cool winds of the north, hot winds of the south, hear me, son of Barais. I call you to this place."

Together they finished the spell. "Winds of Chaos, Pain, Life, and Death! Winds from all Corners of the Earth! We summon your power to create a Tempest of Untold Power!"

Thunder crackled, winds roared, and the rain began to swirl in earnest. A hurricane (roughly F5) hovered around the Pschycos fleet. To enter would be death. The mages drew back, protected from the storm by the power of the Wind Mages.

One of the Blue Mages turned to the Black. "should we call it now?"

"Yes...but have it merely stand guard and see that no subs get through. I sense a change in the Winds. Silver and Gold are still going up to destroy LIBRA, though. Something like that does not and has not belonged in the sky."

The blue mages raised their hands, a knife in the left and the right palm open.

"Child of Darkness and Water, born of hate and pain, we summon you with blood *at which point they cut their palms* and with fury. Guard our shores from attacks under the sea. Ocean God of Unforetold Might, Leviathan, hear the children of Desran'or and Ranas, and protect your people."

-----------------------------------------

Deep in the ocean.

A part of the sea floor raised itself up from right under the ghost fleet. It was huge. Almost big enough to be a large island. It pulled itself up, centuries of sediment falling off of its great carapace, and it situated itself between the PP submerged ships and the Kaymirilian shores. The only thing that they could tell about it was that this thing wouldn't die easy.

-----------------------------------------

The Black Mage nodded. "And now, we wait. I will join you again later. There are other matters to which I must attend." With that, the cloak swirled, and the Black Mage was gone.

------------------------------------------

Up in the sky, the Gold clad and Silver clad mages were rising.

"Tell me again, Namir, why this is happening?"
"Because, Calas, children are blind. This ones eyes are openning, but is it enough? No..." he chuckles. "Our valiant queen might have to kill off his council."
"She wouldn't like that."
"Soon enough it will be something she would like nothing better."
"...True. Too bad we can't tell her...but we must not interfere with the future. We can merely mourn with the rest when it comes."
"And our burden is greater, for having known, but here we are. You want to start first, or should I?"
"I suppose I will."

The silver mage, standing on clouds, raised her arms. "Bodies in orbit around the sun, in orbit around the stars, come to me and crush the Behemoth of Space." From their orbits, meteors turned and started rushing instead toward LIBRA.

The gold mage now raised his right hand. "Years become seconds, seconds even less. Make haste in your voyage to the Monster in Orbit."

The bodies sped up even more, until they were barely trackable with radar...and untrackable to the human eye. And they were all heading right toward LIBRA...colliding to make a giant threat nothing more than a giant mass of debris.

"Task completed, beauties of space. Return to whence you came." The planetary bodies, once a vision of burning fury, started on their voyage back to where they belonged, just as quickly as they came.

"Well, Calas, now that that's over with, care to join me for a drink?"

Honimishu Castle...

"Brilliant Shinota! Simply brilliant!"

"Decoys work wonders, don't they? Allright, is the real deal ready?"

"HA ha! Yes, Sir!"

"Finally! It's true powershall be reaveled."

"Now that supply two is on, it shall have a blast radius of 10 sq. miles, and since it's on an angle, it shall send a giant Tsunami toward their shores.!"

The order was given, and the link shut just as a katana slammed through the computer.

"You were a bit late "Shogun". Those people will die!" said Shinota turning around. he was staring straight at the legendary blade. Instantly, he froze. "What, what's going on, I can't move."

"Too bad for you" The sword was brought around in a wide arch.
----------------------------------------------------
LIBRA Battlestation......

"Holy hell! They want us to do what now?"

"That's right sir, they want us to blow them off the map."

"Too bad we had a decoy, I hate following these types of orders. Power up the main cannon!"

Instantly, the sound of magnets powering up could be heard. Bolts of electrictity bounded across the ship's surface. A bulge of pure energy started forming at the main cannon.

"FIRE!"

A huge beam shot forth from the cannon, heading straight for the Kaymiril fleet. At ground zero, it would feel like 10 H-bombs had been detonated.
-------------------------------------
Homimshu Castle...

"Damn it!" shouted Shogun Yamato. "I was too late." He got another computer running, and sent a message to Kaymiril...

I know you'll find this hard to believe, but there's been a coup, and for a short time, I was out of power. I want this war over, there has been too much bloodshed. I know, due to just recent events, you'll not believe me. That is why I am heading straight at your capitol. We'll settle this in a one on one duel.

he hit the send button, and dashed for the Mobile suit hangars.
-------------------------------
At the hangars...

Kira hoped the guards weren't with Shinota, but that was unlikely. Using the Shinowippu style, he infiltrated to the bay where the new Freedom Gundam was stored. As he crossed the catwalk over it, guards with machine guns blocked his path, and opened fire.
"Going down" said Kira, jumping over the railing to the suit below. He dropped into the cockpit, and shut the hatch just as a hail of bullets hit.
"Selfdestruct the base!" shouted one of the guards. Instantly, the world around them turned into hell on earth.
Freedom was activated, and streamers of flame fell from it as it rose to its full height.
"Activating phase-shift armor....all right, good to go." said Kira. He gave it full power, and it soared up into the night sky, heading for the upper reaches of the atmosphere.
As it came over Kaymiril, Kira sent the message one more time, and plungged straight down toward the capitol...

(OOC: I don't appreciate mages, but it looks like I can't do anything about it cause of my ghost fleet, and my LIBRA decoy. *shrugs shoulders* Anyone realize that we don't have lives?)

Prince Enais of Kaymiril slapped the back of his neck. That sensation...he knew what it was for. Changing into his hawk form, he blasted toward the laser, praying that he was not too late.

He changed form as he got there, just in time.
"POWER WITHIN ME, POWER OF MY LINE, PROTECT MY PEOPLE WITH MY LIFE!"

As the laser slammed full-force into his slender body, it stopped...leaving the Kaymiril fleet unharmed...but no remainder of the young prince.

Dora'nes and Anastrianna, who were walking with their mother toward the conference room, turned in sync, just a half second behind their mother. Elsewhere, two figures, one in gold and one in silver, bowed their heads.
"He was valiant."
"And he is gone."

K -- "No...NO!" The earth shook in response to the Queen's rage and sorrow, but there was nothing to do. They proceeded to the room, where they found the Shogun's message.

K "...mano y mano...end of show..."
A -- Let's think about this, the kid has no heir, and he wants to fight you. You're not in any condition to fight, mother...mother...
K -- I will speak to him. And if he decides to continue this madness, I will show no mercy. We are Drow, Anastrianna. Remember this always. Respect to our enemies, respect to our allies...but always, always the potential for ruthlessness. If I have taught you nothing else, remember this.

With that, she stepped out.

A -- Can she mean?
D -- If she does...But that sword...is it? But mother can fight...the kid doesn't give her credit for that.
A -- Not a kid...he is a month older than our brother was. *she leans on the desk, as though a heavy weight were on her shoulders* How mother can bear it I do not know.

-----------------------

Kaymiril pulled on the battle gear of her line...mythral armor over cotton, red leather over that to provide some color. The bracers...out of the left bristled four long, slender blades, but for now she smoothed them down. Out of the right popped out a long blade, good for clean, sweeping blows. Many heads had been taken off with this bracer...and many had fallen to the punctured entrails of the other. The helmet...in conjunction with the rest of the armor, the enchantments on the helmet made her almost invulnerable to magical attack. Picking up her blade, which bore her royal mark, she placed it over her right shoulder, for a left-handed draw. She then entered a deeper part of the castle...an ancient part.

She got to the sword which was stuck in an alter, and kneeled down, in front of the apparati which projected the images of her forbearers. Kaymiril I, shorter, with a harsher expression than her descendants, and colder blue eyes. That Kaymiril had known what it was to be a killer...until she had founded her Queendom and initiated the Great Peace. Kaymiril II, the one who had given this great land its policies of peace yet preparation. Kaymiril III, shrewd. Kaymiril IV, who had given the line a gentler touch. Her eyes, brighter than her ancestors' spoke of kindness and love. Kaymiril V, this ruler's own mother. She had died shortly after Enais was born.

"Mother...Mothers...is this right?" Only silence answered her question. The actual spirits might speak at the Battle Arena.

"Mothers of my nation, mothers of my line, times have become desperate. I ask your permission to draw the Sword of Kaymiril the Great, which has not been used since she placed it here, at the founding of the Queendom. Blade of enchantment, Queen greater than all, grant me this request."

So saying, she put her hand out and drew the blade. It glowed brightly, then dimmed, blue, reflecting the emotions of its holder.

"I thank you, Mothers. I will use the responsibility that you have entrusted me with wisely."
She put the blade in its scabbard, which hung on the wall, then attatched it to her left hip, for a right handed draw. The fighting style of her family combined magic with swords...now was her time to see if she was a worthy heir to the title.

Wtih that she went out to meet Shogun Yamoto Kira, deflecting the MS to land at the gates of the city. Anastrianna and Dora'nes, dressed in the formal clothing of the Crown Princess and Fighting Master, flanked their mother in her march to meet her child-opponent.

(OOC, I don't appreciate really big bombs. And Kay VI doesn't appreciate having her son blown up. However, more on that later. Oh, and mythral as in mithril, as in perhaps the strongest stuff in the world. The Ceremonial Armor was originally functional, and has lost none of that over the centuries. So, with the enchantments on the armor, and the armor itself, she's fairly well protected, and your darling shogun has not reached a level of competency with his shin-no-ippo to freeze Kaymiril...or even slow her down. And as to the enchanted blade...Kay I was better than a thousand years ahead of her time, magically. Her line inherited that.)

(OOC: Apparently, you do not know the strenghth lf his own blade. In our legends, it was the blade that was used to create the World.)

Above Kaymiril...

Kira sat in the cockpit examining last minute battle data. "Good, the laser was stopped. The cost was still too high." He quickly radioed the station...

This is Shogun Yamato. Do not kamikaze, repeat do not kamikaze. Stand down and return to our own airspace.

With that, he engaged Freedom's engines, and raced down into the World's heat shield. Minutes later, he broke through, threads of smoke streaming from the armor. (Not reflecting damage, but the high heat). He was able to time his landing right, and set down just in front of the Queen. In the cockpit, he switched from his flight suit into the ancient armor of his own people. At first it seemed a few sizes too big, but it shrank to his size in moments. He strapped his own sword to his left hip, the Reichyevich Royal Blade to his right, and over his left shoulder went the Sword of Masters. He didn't want to use it, but in a clutch, it would maginify his own powers a thousand fold. Lastly, he ordered all PP forces to stand down, and move from battle positions. Finally, he popped the hatch, and lept out, drawing his katana as he fell. "The only way to end this without our people being involved is to duel one on one. I'm sorry for the damage caused by my unclear stance, but this is the only way to end it." he shouted out....

"The only way to end it? You are a fool, child. What happens to your nation if you should die in this battle? Who takes command if you have no heir? You need to think of such things before you challenge someone ten times your age to a fight to the death. You have been in charge for too short a time period to know much about leadership, and you have been led around on a chain by one advisor after another."

The Queen's tone is cold, and her face kept rigidly free of emotion.

"I have no desire to kill a child, but if you insist upon this course of action, I have two things to tell you, and one thing to ask."

"First: Swords did not create the world. The one you carry on your back was forged ten thousand years ago to commemorate a disastrous event. There are nine others like it. How the Blades of Atlantis became the Swords of the World, I do not know."

"Second: To use the power of that blade you would have to know how to activate it. You are not a mage, child, and you know little of the sword itself. You grabbed it with the hand its previous Master used...so Enais observed only days ago. That means nothing. POWER means nothing, if you do not know how to use it. If you cannot control your abilities, you may as well not have them...for they are dangerous more to you than to any other."

"And now my question. Why? Why all of this? To what point and purpose was it supposed to go?"

(OOC...I like my lack of life. But I also like how this fits in with the legends and stories of Kaymiril's people, as well.)

Without a warning, a voice was heard in the Gundam, it was the radio.

"Shogun-sama, this is Admiral Yamamoto. Emperor Leipzig is reporting hostilities against our region, and the navy is needed. You are needed to command them. And I am glad to hear you're well, I heard of the attempted coup.

"I am sorry, but I will need to cut this short, let's just say this never happened. Duty calls, my region needs me." said the Shogun to Kaymiril. "If you ever really want to duel, wire me. And I'm sorry for your son, he died a much better death than my father."

Kira leaped back to Freedom, and took off. In the air he radioed the navy.
"All forces, back to Greater Prussia! We're needed!"

A few hours later, Freedom landed on the deck of the Arkhangle, and the fleet retreated, destined for yet another war. Hopefully, he would not need to face the Kaymiril forces again, he didn't want a war with them, it wasn't needed. In his heart, Kira actually wanted to duel. "Will peace ever come?" he thought.

(OOC: trust me, the blade is unique to Pschycotic Pschycos, and its powers can only be wielded by Kira's family, his father could, and he taught Kira how to use it, how dare you try to tell me about my own sword that I created? That doesn't matter now, I just got intel. that someone's picking a fight with my region, so I need all resources and concentration there. See ya ;)

The Black Mage flew one last time out to Sea.
"Word from the Queen: End it." The Mage disappeared, back to where ever he or she waited until the need arose again.

At a guesture from the white-robed Mages, the Mages of the Air, the storm ceased, allowing the PP ships to go home.
The Water Mages sent the Leviathan back to its rest, and the sea was calm once more.

Kaymiril VI, Queen of Kaymiril, changed out of her battle regalia and back into her robes of office, and returned to the Inner Chamber, to replace the sword.
"I have lost much, Mothers...but our land is safe."

A couple of days later, this broadcasts from the palace of Kaymiril.

"There were many deaths in our recent encounter with Pschycotic Pschycos. The troops from our allies, Ina and Orion, were safe, thankfully. I am not sure how many of our opponent's troops died in the assault, but we lost just over two hundred people. In such an encounter, we are grateful that the number is so low, when it could have been so much greater."

"The number of casualties would have been up to ten thousand had the LIBRA laser succeeded in its attack. My son, Prince Enais, sacrificed himself that our ships and people would be safe. In every war, there are heroes, men and women who sacrifice themselves to protect those that matter to them, whether or not they know the names and faces of those they ultimately protect."

"Similar ceremonies are going on at this time for the other dead, but there is nothing left of the Prince to interr. All we can do is remember him, and the sacrifice he made."

*End of Broadcast*

(OOC, you want something like that, you state it, otherwise we have to think that it's the first time you're drawing the sword. The only reason this Kaymiril knows how to control the sword of her anscestors is that they are accustomed to using magical items.)

I would also like to call for a moment of silence for the brave men and women who were killed on both sides of the conflict.
