$500,000?
Aircraft haven't been that cheap since the Korean War. And even then, something this big would have cost a heck of a lot more. At the very least, there's about 2 zeroes missing from that figure. If it's tilt-engine, it should be closer to at least $200 million a pop, especially with the claimed payload (a quad tiltrotor comparable to a C-130 is estimated at $100 million, and this is 3 times that size). Aircraft that can carry tanks are neither small nor cheap.

5 inch titanium armor: a complete waste. All it does is take up weight and space that could be better used for fuel and payload. Any aircraft tech will tell you that armor doesn't do much for aircraft due to inherant vulnerabilities. Because of the limitations, only front-line ground attack aircraft will carry any notable armor protection. Titanium is also very expensive to work with, and with that much, you'd be forking out tens of millions just for the airframe's armor, let alone the engines and avionics.

Nice try, keep it up, try to listen to critism as an instructive thing and not as an attack. do some research on stuff like this. Maybe even find a picture of some thing similar to whatyou are thinking of and post it and describe it as a proto-type so we get an idea of what you're thinking of. It is too cheap and too heavily armored, but I have an idea of what you're shooting for, give it another go. ;)

Although the vehicle is rather cheap and too heavily armoured, the entire vehicle is entirely modual, thus things can be added or removed depending on mission requrements, so it could be used as a front line fighter. The government only now released the information so that improvements could be made by the countries willing to purchase the vehicle.

No, he didn't say a C-130 was worth 100 Million, he said a quad tiltrotor comparable in size to a C-130 was worth 100 million.

Interesting plane... but i dont c how it could b used as a front line aircraft at that size... and seemingly vulernable.
Listen to the criticism

It all depends on what kind of modules that have been added, such as heavier guns, lighter armour, maybe even have the transport module removed to be used as a bomber.
