At over 3 miles long, and 3/4 of a mile wide, the Flat top mobile bridge/runway is easily the largest moving object known to The Phoenix Milita. Why did we build it? Because we can....
Well it does have practical uses... the Flat Top, which was originaly two seprate vessels, can be used as a massive bridge, spaning passages where a suspension bridge would be impossible and a tunnel system cost prohibitave, the Flat Top can provide ©strategic combat bridging. The large surface area also allows any aircraft to land, heck even our MAG-1 Spaceplanes can land on it safely. There is minimal aircraft storage below decks for fighter/learjet sized aircraft and helicopters, and only 1 aircraft elevator.
