OCC: If anyone wishes to aid either side of the forces, you may do so. If someone is willing to control the Socialist forces, tell me. I'd like to keep this as a local conflict, instead of it involving into a world war however.

The Aubainian kingdom was split after a terrible ordeal in Congress, with the Socialist party gaining an ungoldly amount of seats in both houses. The socialist held congress attempted to pass a bill to make Aubain communist, yet with the sly help of a few nations, Aubain declared war upon it's self, creating a rift. The Socialist congress took the providences of Haan, Geri, Frum, and Balst, as well as the Steppes of Alois, the Grand Duchy of Colone, and the Hoyl Empire of Bermicia, an independant kingdom which has been reliant upon Aubain since it lost the war. They took half of the national army, but they seriously lack support, with many nations refusing to recognize this regime of Socialists.

On the nationalist side, Alexander Micheal managed to recieve help from Adullam, in rescuing the king. Upon the king's rescue, war was declared. The Nationalist holdings are nothing more than the two smallest providences, Outo and Aoto. They also have 1/3 of the national army. They have some links with other nations, but not enough to ask them to declare war.

On the eve of declaring war, both sides of the Aubainian realm began to arm their forces. Before the split, the national army of Aubain amounted to 400,000 men and women, not including ships, tanks, artillery, and other army equipment. When the split occured, 200,000 men and women of the army defected to the socialists, while another 133,333 men remained with the Nationalist army. The remaining 66,667 soldiers fled to the neutral Steppes of Alois, or to the Holy Empire of Bermicia.

Both sides hold a navy, but this will mainly be a land and air battle. The navies included Cruisers, Battle Ships, Frigates, and Carriers for the airforce. Those recording the war on both sides highly doubt that much naval battle will take place.

The airforce of both sides is basically jet fighters, as well as a few stealth fighters. There are also helicopters to airdrop units. Neither side has a better airforce than the other.

Other army equipment are artillery, tanks, mortars and other such items. They may play a good role in the battle, but most of the war may end up being guerilla hit and runs.

Outo Providence; Just outside Shyu city -

"For our king, men! Let us leave no socialist left! Let us free the peoples of the other providences from Socialist tyranny!" The high general yelled out, with his men cheering. The forces were well rested, and they prepared to march forward to pick into Socalist land.

Outo Providence; Shyu City: Govermental Palace -

"Sire, the men are preparing to leave." Prime Minister Alexander Micheal stated to the King, Drake Rlugia. He nodded, then looked at Alexander.

"I'm gonna go make sure the cargo is being loaded. . ." The king replied, walking out of the throne room, to the gates. Many jeeps loaded with supplies such as grain and guns were being loaded, and few were watching. The king saw his chance. Morale would surely implode if he was seen out on the battle field, aiding the wounded! Drake rushed back up to the throne room, and smiled at Alexander.

"Prepare a military jeep. We're going to follow the army. The TV station of Shyu will be following, so we should go as well. The Socialist cowards will be angered that their leader is too cowardly to follow!" The king shouted. Alexander Micheal was torn. If the king died, it could cause more seceeding, making Aubain nothing more than many tiny feudal states. However, if both were seen aiding the people in the war torn towns, they would be renouned. The prime minister agreed, and a jeep was prepared.

By the next day, the supply train as well as the Shyu National TV Station(SNTS), and the king and Prime Minister set out, a few hours behind the main forces. They still had many days total, before actual fighting began.

South Sicily is the Outo Providence, and North Sicily is the Aoto providence. Palermo is approx. where Shyu city is.

Reggio is where the Socialist held land starts. It extends from there to Switzerland. However, rebellions shake the Socialist realm, so few providences are functioning well.

As the steps of Air Force Two lowered, Vice-President Williams stepped out to be greated warmly be the nationals in the Shyu area. Waving to them politely, he began his way down the stairs to where the Prime Minister's second in command stood.

"Mr. Vice-President, it is so good to finially meet with you face to face. I am sorry that the King nor the Prime Minister could not great you, they are out there boasting morale."

"No problem. How are the Nationalist Forces holding up?" stated V-P Willaims

"It is too early to tell who is winning and who is loosing."

"I bring good news from the Adullam Senate. They have voted with overwhelming support of sending you equipment and 10 billion Coiss. However, until signs of defeat, we can not send troops."

"That is fine, lets get back to National HQ and we shall wait for the Prime Minister and the King."

"Alright, lead the way sir."

[They boarded a transport SUV and was shuttled back to Headquarters. The Vice-President would wait there until the arrival of the Prime Minister and the King."

Aoto Providence: Keysh City -

Keysh was the last city before enter the Socialist realm. The national army had been moving all night, and they had settled outside Keysh on the Bank River for the night. The supply train had settled in the father off Port town of Roy. The army however wouldn't have time to rest, as gun fire broke out at the Keysh gates!

"Socialists!" A civilian screamed, as the cities gate was busted open by a tank. The Keysh militia was on task, to detain the Socialist army while a messanger ran to get the Nationalists.

Hurrying up the road, a messanger reached the High General of the Nationalist army atleast twenty minutes after the fighting had broken out. The army was quickly assembled, and it's march began.

Aoto Providence; Keysh City: Mayor's Manor -

"Statements from Shyu report that the supply train is in Roy. I'll have to alert the mayor of Roy to send the supply train. The army and militia need it." The mayor of Keysh stated, quickly picking up his phone and dialing the number. It rang a few times, but finally a sleepy Roy mayor anwsered.

"Yes..?" The Roy mayor said drowsily.

"Send the supply train to Keysh via the Aubainian national railroad." The Keysh mayor muttered. The mayor of Roy was reluctant to reply. The national railroad, although established in 1874, was never completed. The only railways in Aubain were those connecting Roy to Keysh. But the mayor of Roy agreed to it, and the train was woken up, and sent on it's way.

Meanwhile: Train headed for Keysh -

"Worried sire?" Alexander Micheal asked the king, who sat near him. The jeeps would be sent to Keysh after the people and supplies, so the men helping the supply train sat in cramped quarters on the tiny, in-efficient train. It was not glamorous.

"A little. If Keysh is taken, we're walking into a death trap. It's not exactly fun. . ."

Back in Keysh:

The fighting was changed from a head on fight, to guerrilla tactics. The whole town was engulfed in anarchy, as Nationalist tanks mowed down Socialist soldiers, as well as many innocient civilians; who were merely caught in the cross fire. The battle for Keysh would be known as Bloody Sunday.

The fighting was horrible. People climbed into trash cans for protection, from the explosions and intensity of gun fire. Keysh was a beautiful city before the battle, but it was now horrid and broken.

As mortar shells blasted and mutilated soldiers of either side, it did not seem to show a definite winner. The Nationalist side was more witful and sneaky, but it was outnumbered. The militia of the city; which had about 1,300 men, was completely elminated.

"Protect the station!" The High general screamed, as his jeep zoomed through a crowd a Socialists, many whom he managed to gun down. Many soldiers were sent to the station, to keep it guarded. After the supplies came, the army would use the station to recieve more supplies. Although outnumbered, the Nationalists had the railroad on their side. They could get supplies quickier than the Socialists, atleast while they fought on Southern Aubain.

The army of The Scandinvans has ebeen amassed to aid the Nationlist and has set 1,200,000 troops to their aid.

At their head was High Genral Erikson he said," Men do not fear them for they are just communist dogs and we are the descnedants of a great warrior race."

After he finished his statemnet the army marched forward.

As Vice President Williams, of Adullam, sat and watched the horrific scene on the television, he could not help but wonder where the Prime Minister and the King where. Watching the tanks destroy everthing in their paths, he was startled by a telephone call.

"Hello." Williams said while still gazing at the television screen.

"Good morning Mr. Vice-President, my name is Marcus Gracchus and I am one of the leaders of the rebellion. I have come to you today to forwarn you of an immending attach on Shyu."

"Why warn me, I am a supporter of the nationalist side."

"I warn you because we do not want the large nation of Adullam to participate in combat in this war. We admired your nation we you were controlled by President Salon."

"Need I remind you that we are recovering from that time of despair when he ruled with an iron fist."

"Yes sir, however, democracy is flawed in every aspect of politically running a country."

"Mr. Gracchus, I think this phone call is over."

"Thank you Mr Vice President, just heed my words."

As the Vice-President hung up the phone, he slowly walked to the window to gaze out at the morning sunrise over the ocean. As he turned his attention to the west, he saw a faint black billowing smoke rising far off in the distance.

"Mr. Anredsos, please inform the Prime Minister that I am growing impatient with the lack of response on how the war is going on the front lines. Also, tell them to be safe, if this country looses two leaders, then there won't be much worth fighting for. Oh, and inform President Adams that a threat has been made on key fiqure heads of Adullam from the Socialist regime."

Live From ANN, this is Walter Cronkite....

"Good morning Aimira, in todays top stories; President Bostian met with Adullam newly elected President Adams this past weekend at a summit in New Petra. The summit was to direct the long term rivals into a peaceful solution of reuniting in a positive turn. In a long term talk on Saturday night, the two leaders reached an agreement and signed the Double A-Alliance; which is a cultural exchange and protection treaty. The two also talked about the growing crisis in Aubain between the nationalist and the socialist. In an earlier press confrence today, this is what President Bostian had to say...

"Putting our priorites first, we have caused an overwhelming number of volunteers for the Cape Zion relief effort. In reaching our goal in only one month when we were expected to be completed in 3 months, I have come to the conclusion that we can spare some of our military to help with the growing crisis. I am still against sending combat troops to the area. Since the recent threat of a key figure head of the Double A-Alliance, President Adams and I are sending a fleet to the Port of Shyu to protect the temporary capital from impending danger. This fleet will have 3 air craft carriers, 6 destroyers, 5 cruissers, 3 submarines, 2 battleships, and 6 scouts. We are also sending 1,000 peacekeepers to Shyu to set up any defense structures needed. Now if attacked at Shyu, it will be a decleration of war on our two nations. Now, I will take just a few questions."

"Mrs. President, would your husband, the real president, sign this treaty with a former enemy and would he send a fleet to another country."

"To answer your question; the real president is me, and even if my husband was out of the hospital, he would sign that treaty to promote peace and he would send that fleet. Yes, you in the back."

"How is the government taking appropriate measures for this impending war since we haven't been at war since our own revolution 28 yrs ago."

"The government right now is not taking measures for an impending war, instead, we are helping our country recover from the massive earthquake a month ago. Alright, that is all the time I have, thank you and take care."
[The President walked slowly off the stage]

"There you have it directly from the President that Adullam and Aimira's cold war is over, and that a fleet of an extrodinary amount of firepower is in the harbor of Shyu. The fleet is only ment to protect Shyu, not to engage in any battles. The socialist regime of Aubain would be pretty stupid to declare war on two major superpowers. And in other news....."

The Federation of the FCD declares its support of the nationalist forces, as the Federation feels obligated to help a fledgeling nation under oppression from a communist onslaught.

The nationalist forces need only inform us of what they require, and the Federation will help, within reasonable boundries of course. The Federation would most likely be suited to equip the nationalists with weaponry, if necessary. Unfortunatly, we cannot commit troops at this time, with the possible exception of a few hundred airborne special operatives, if this would be of any help.

"Communism will win the day" the king of Tailva.

As the 1,000 peacekeeprs set up a secure defensive in the Port of Shyu, a recent word was recieved by top officials that the nation of Tailva was sending supplies to the socialist regime by both sea and air. The only route that the Double-A Alliance could block would be the sea. The only way that supplies could be delievered by sea is through the major Port of Shyu. Seeing how the 1st fleet occupies that area, they successfully blockaded the Tailva ships from transporting those materials. However, instead of taking hostile actions against another nation, the Double A-Alliance allowed the air supplies to recieve passage to the socialist capital.

-Double A-Alliances Headquarters; Port Shyu, Auto Provience, Aubain-

"Mr. Vice President." approached General Bains

"Yes Sir" responded the V-P

"We have successfully blocked the Tailvain transport ships from reaching shore. What do we do with the vessels."

"Let them go, we do not want this to become a global affair. You have not taken any of their cargo?"

"No sir"

"Good, let them have it."

"Sir, we have also recieved word that more nations are becoming interested in this crisis. The FCD has already joined the nationalist side, and many more might follow for both sides." stated Gen. Bains

"Any word yet from the Prime Minister?"

"No sir"

"If he is to lead this preseveration war, then he is going to have to stop worrying about boosting morale and lead this war."

"Sir, if I might add something. The Prime Minister has greatly boosted the morale both here and abroad. To the people of Aubain, on both sides, he is seen as the next Winston Churchill."

"So be it. Just make sure their "Churchill" doesn't get himself or the king killed."

"Yes Sir" replied the general

"How are the forces holding up?" asked Vice President Williams.

"The active nationalist forces started out with 33,000. As of recent count they have about 29,000. And the active socialist forces had about 45,000, but as of now they have about 43,000. The forces are pretty much equally matched."

"Thank you General, as for now, I am retiring for the night."

"Yes sir."

As the Vice-President was walking out of the Command Room, he looked over to the television and was reminded the horrors of war.

As the crowds of media and photographers gathered outside Nobs Head Regional Hosiptal, they awaited President John Bostian to give his recovery speech.


As the President, along side his wife "the President-temp", walked up to the podium and began his speech.


"My fellow Aimirans, I am glad that I have fully recovered from my one month stay here at NBR hosiptal. I just want to thank my wife for the tremendous job she has done in light of the death of the Vice-President, and my amdittance to the hosiptal. She has ended the cold war between our nation and Adullam, she has made the Cape Zion recovery faster than ever before, and she is trying to perserve the democratic government of another nation. As of now, I regain my position as President of Aimira and I will begin governing as soon as possible. We will continue to be a member of the Double-A Alliance and we will increase our efforts in the Aubain Civil War. Now if you don't mind, my wife would like to give her address as succeeding President-temp."


[She approached the podium and looked out in the audience. She noticed how more attentive the audience was unlike during her husband's speech.]


"Friends, I want to thank you for giving me the privilege to lead this great nation. This has been a learning and ground breaking experience for both you and I. Never before has a woman held an office of such high position. I just want to say that I am thankful that my husband has finally recovered, and now is able to leads us like he has so long before. And now, I resign the seat of President-temp, and become the First Lady once again."


[Massive amounts of applause from the crowd. The President approaches the podium.]

"With my newly appointed Vice President Jim Taylor, I will be going to Aubain to meet with Adullams President and Vice President; and the Aubain Prime Minister. We will discuss possible solutions to end this war with the winning side being the nationalist. We will also discuss terms of allowing the future nationalist Aubain to become a member of the Double-A Alliance. Only time will tell. Thank you and God Bless."


[The President waves along side the First Lady and the new Vice-President to a crowd that has unwavering love for their leaders.]

The supply train of the Nationalist army arrived in Keysh by Monday morning, while the fighting continued. The SNTS quickly began filming the carnage, along with other television stations.

"Hello, this is Tina Robishi, reporting for SNTS! We are here at the battle of Keysh, with Prime Minister Alexander Micheal, and King Drake Rlugia. Mr. Micheal, how fair the nationalist troops in Keysh?"

"Hello Tina," Alexander began. "our troops fair well, thanks to foreign troops from the Scandivans, Adullam, the Federation of FCD, and Aimira. Thanks to these four nations generous help, we have set up plots in Shyu for them to build embassies. We should expect to push out the communist threat from Keysh by Tuesday morning. They had control of half the city last night, but our forces have been able to push the fighting back to the northern entrance, and outside the city."

"Thank you Mr. Micheals. Your majesty, how do you feel about the government of Tailva aiding the socialist regime?"

"Well," Drake Rlugia began. "I feel betrayed. The nationalist government gave them two tons of salt to stop their winter storms, and then they turn around and fund our enemies! I doubt Aubain will ever be generous to them again."

"Thank you your majesty. Let us continue this report somewhere safer. Tune into SNTS later tonight, to find out more about the Aubainian civil war!"

-Double A-Alliance Headquarters, Port Shyu, Auto Provience, Aubain-

As the Presidents and the Vice Presidents from both Adullam and Aimira sat at the command table, with the company of four top generals, they watched the television located at the Battle of Keysh. Seeing the Socialist regime entrench themselves more and more, proper action need to be done.

" President Bostian, if we allow the socalist to keep entrenching the area, it will be months before we are going to be able to de-root them." stated Gen. Bains as he pointed on the map of Keysh.

"What do you Generals think we should do." replied Vice President Williams

"I think we should launch an air raid against the city. If we destroy their base we could possibly shorten the war by at least three months." stated Gen. Howard.

"How much fire power do you think we should use?" asked Vice President Williams.

"Every single bit of it. We start with the B-52s and then finish off with the new T-23 assault choppers. Then we will let Aubainian forces finish off the city."

Debating on the attack, all that Aimiran Vice President could think was of the countless civilian life that could be lost.

"Sir, how many civilian lives are we expecting."

"Sir, we are expecting a 32% causalties. That is for the full out attack that we are preparing to launch."

As both Presidents looked at each other, they decided to go through with the mission.

"Generals, commence the attack." spoken hestiantly by President Adams


As soon as the word was given, the Commander of the 1st fleet gave the order for Assault Patter 3. The quite port of Shyu became a deafing sound with 30 B-52's launching from the air field and 52 T-23's lauching off the aircraft carriers.


"Mr. Presidents, the attack squadron will arrive in 2 minutes."

As the Presidents awaited, the command room became dead silent.


-Keysh City, Aubain-


What part of the city that was left, the war hadn't affected daily life.

"Mom, look!." said a little boy pointing to the western sky.
"Hurry, lets get in side."

As the squadron flew over the city, the bombs begun to fall. Left and right, the bombs destroyed what was left of the city. Buildings, bridges, churches, all were destroyed. As the planes approached the alledged base of the Socialist regime in Keysh, the began to rain down fire. When the 9 minute air raid was over, the city of Keysh was utterly destroyed. As for the alledged base, nothing was left of it.


-AA-Alliance Headquarters-

"President Adams, the attack is over." replied Bains

"Thank you. Send the results to the Prime Minister. This will be the turning point the nationalists wanted." President Bostian replied as he threw down the reports on the table and walked out the door of the command room.

*** To the nationalist forces ***

The FCD Armed Forces are pleased to report that Fourth and Fifth Nightwolf cohorts deployed in Aubain have succeeded in securing several locations of some strategic importance around the western flank of the socialists, taking only minor casualties. With your blessing, the FCD will deploy the Eleventh Nightwolf cohort in the area, for defence and reconnoissance.

Also, we need to be informed with the policies regarding prisoners, as a total of 107 members of the socialist army were captured during an ambush of a military convoy. As we aren't equipped to take care of this amount of POWs, you'll have to arrange some form of extraction if you wish to keep them alive.

Please inform us of your decision ASAP.

Live from Shyu City, Aubain, this is Walter Cronkite with ANN...

"Coordinated by the AA-Alliance, the Nationalist and Socialist Forces have signed an armistice for the week of Thanksgiving. This treaty prevents any and all military and combat activity now through Sunday night at 7 p.m. The treaty also prevents any nations allied with either side to commience any and all operations involving military actions. Both Aimira and Adullam have worked closely to ensure that this treaty is passed before the beginning of Thanksgiving. With long talks into the night with both Aubain High General and Socialist Rebel Leader, the reached the agreement at 3:42 this morning. This is what the President of Aimira had to say earlier at a local press conference....

"This is an extrodinary day for the common cause of two rival factions. This however might be the ground breaking point of ending the war even sooner than thought. If any actions are taken by either side, appropriate actions will be taken from the AA-Alliance. However, we do not forsee that happening until Sunday night. War is hard, it is even harder during the holiday times. This is why we must respect our human rights and tradition to be with our friends and our loved ones durning one of the most greatest holidays ever. Thank you and that is all I have..."

"We will be bring you updated coverage of the armistice and any other parts of the war that will be happening in the near future. As for ANN, I am Walter Cronkite."

Keysh City, Outo Providence:

"Hello, and welcome to to SNTS! The nationalist televion station. At 3:42 this morning, Alexander Micheal, High Minister of the Nationalist government, and Greg Tichov, Chairman of the Socialist government, signed an armistice, to ensure peace over the holidays. Even further, Alexander has pushed for peace talks. Both sides have suffered from the AA Air-raids, but Greg has not refused, stating he would carry this war for as long as the people were willing. He has however agreed to obey the armistice.

In other news, King Rlugia shall be departing the battle field back to Shyu. While at dinner with the Keysh mayor, it turns out his food had been coated with mild nerve agent, in an attempt to the kill the King. Under investigation, the mayor of Keysh confessed. He had been hired by the Socialists to kill Mr. Rlugia, for 500,000 gold marks(A Mark is appox. 3.50 american dollars). He has recovered from the effects, but will not be back on the battle field to raise morale."

As the AA-Alliance resumed its bombings at seven o-clock, the Socialist forces are scrambling to recover since the first bombings. Their forces are down 45% since the first attack by the AA's.

-AA-Alliance Headquarter's, Port Shyu, Auto Provience, Aubain-

"General Bains." said as the young commander apporached.

"Yes." replied Gen. Bains

"The force leaders are wondering if we should send soldiers into the area to finish the job after the bombings."

"No, instead, increase the fire power over the Socialist controlled area. Leave no green area green. Besides, by the time the bombings are through, they will have no strong hold on resources or support."

"Yes sir, increasing firepower."

-Socialist Terroritory-

As the 30 B-52's, 50 F17's, and the new T-23 choppers began to reign down their firepower, the socialist forces crumbled even more. As more and more cities, bridges, and outposts were destroyed; the socialist supporters wondered how long they could survive this ongoing destruction.

WE INTERUPT THIS PROGRAM TO BRING YOU AN IMPORTANT MESSAGE

"Good afternoon, moments ago, both President Adams of Adullam and President Bostian of Aimir have agreed to withdrawl from the Aubain Civil War. This is a suprise to not only the national forces of Aubain, but to the citizens back home and across the globe. Hours after the extensive bombings of socialist terroritory, which has left about 92% of there supplies destroyed, the Presidents feel that the National forces of Aubain can handle what needs to be done. We go live now to a press conference which President Adams attends to address the world community on the withdrawl of AA forces."


Flashing camera lights are going one right after another. President Adams steps up to the podium and pulls the microphone up to his mouth.


-Presidential Administration Building, Capital City: Yukon, Adullam-

"Moments ago, both President Bostian and I, have agreed to withdraw our forces from Aubain. We feel now after the extensive and grueling air raids that have left Socialist forces utterly defeated, the High Minister Alexander Micheal and the national forces are completely capable of finishing their campaign alone. We are withdrawing all our forces from the 1st fleet to the peacekeepers in Shyu City. No longer is there a threat from Socialist forces. We are giving all the plundered military goods to the national forces to allow them a swift and easy victory. We will keep open relations with Aubain as long as they allow so. We are turning the two buildings that housed the AA Headquarters in Shyu City into embassies for Aimira and our government. We have invited Aubain to join our alliance, if accepted, it will become the AAA-Alliance Council. We are encouraging them to accept after their victory, that way we can assist in the reconstruction in the former socialist terroritory. Once again, good has triumphed over evil. Thank you and that is all."


The president steps down and walks out the nearest door to his right.


-USS Ismae, Port Shyu, Aubain-

"Admiral, we have been given new orders to hault all operations and come home." stated Ensign Towrgv

"Thank, open a dispatch to the rest of the fleet. [Dispatch open sir] To all commanding officers of the 1st fleet. Hault all operations and set a new course for Willow Cove Coast, we are going home."

As the whole fleet pulled out of the harbor, the citizens of Aubain wondered if it was soon to be over, and if they would ever see those ships again.
