ok, i tried before but this is one im hoping to get off the ground.

The One (AKA Neo) is not controlled by anyone, he is a NPC but countrys can interact with him as long as you dont have him in one place then someone else talks to him in another place.

evreyones welcome, were starting this off with a semi-big street war with the soldiers and S.W.A.T units fighting the zion rebels, thats when one of us comes in and helps the rebels or the police out, you get to choose what side your on.

Actually, I am going on vacation soon, so I won't be able to participate, or at least in the beginning (Sorry)

Can I make a guess to the plotline?

Modern tech nations band together to defeat the Machines.

Machines are NPCs or are controlled by a country/s

Future Tech either aid the Modern Tech, or the Machines.

the story is gonna involve the matrix being destroyed at the end and evreyone wakes up and the machines stop working because the matrix is destroyed (EMP's maybe destroy the matrix?) that would involve someone leaving the matrix and then using bomb/missle and destroying the matrix computers. kinda weird, but thats what i like. also oyu can ally yourself with any faction, machines are sort of NPC'a sort of not, meaning you can us the machines but dont overuse them (eg, i destroy 1000 of your buildings with three drones)

it takes place on a earth carbon copy and it is all over the globe. i never saw the animatrix so i wouldnt know.

Alright. Sorry for all the questions. I'm trying to get a feel for how this will work out. Anyways....since future-tech is welcome, it'll prolly be an observer ship hacking into the matrix or something...depends on how this will pan out...dunno.....Maybe overt military action later.....

They had arrived at the planet eight days ago, the first Weyreans to find it, their ship going unchallenged as it entered orbit. Perhaps the locals were capable of shooting down their small craft, perhaps not. The planet was settled, as they had found out, though not by anything that was listed in the database. Machines, pseudo-intelligence systems and what resembled constructed-intelligence systems, were dominant here, ruling over a dead world, drawing their power from humans imprisoned in an artificial Net.

The feed had been secured from orbit, the link established via tiny repeaters dropped quietly from space. Akira was a ghost, just another sentience in the system. She had hacked into the system, and now, was wondering why this place looked so much like another old Terran city.

She dropped her cell into a trash bin -- no sense in getting tracked through the system by local enforcers. Pulling her hat over her eyes, she picked a side alley, nestled between two tall buildings. If this...Matrix was linked to the overarching global system, then there had to be a way of hacking into that system. Maybe this approach would be easier than a brute-force hack from the ship.

The Star Wolf 1 cruised over the planet it had just came across,

"What is this planet like?"

"As far as our scanners have told us, its pretty dead, but there are alot of strange mechanical readings coming from the surface"

"Bring her closer to the planet, i want to see exactly what its like"

"Affirmative captain"

The star wolf cruised closer to the planets surface,

"Sir... were getting a strong connection to some network that appears to cover the entirety of the planet"

"Is it a communication network?"

"Apparently no sir, our sensors cant determine the kind of network it is"

"Wait a second, we just found out what kind of network it is, apparently its a virtual world that whatever is on this dead planet lives off of"

"Can we beam someone into this 'virtual world'?"

"Apparently, yes"

"Then lets beam a team down"

"Roger that sir!"

20 minutes later......

three men armed with MP5's and Glock 20 handguns and 1 had a bag with a laptop in it walk down a

with that the three men walked into the transporter and when the operator getting the right settings enterd in the right codes and pressed the button that activated the transporter and the men were coverd in a bright green light and when the light went out, they had gone......

OOC: OK these guys are going to be located in Zion but they're basically living in recluse and work for the machines. When they jack themselves in they're for the machines and anti-zion but in real life no-one knows what they are upto. Not for now at least.

It was a gloomy evening in Zion as Igor stared outside where everyone was getting back to their quarters:

"Everyone's pretty anxious Brett. They ain't got a clue why the last mission went haywire."

Brett grinned,"Well they're not meant to are they. I say we jack in for a bit of fun see what's going on. A little birdy told me that the core have a little battle planned in VR Land."

Igor, Brett and DK were a group of mercenaries. To the outside world they were just as keen to liberate and save Zion as the next person but in reality. They lived their lives destroying the dream. Having all been engineers they managed to put together a makeshift jack in mechanism. They were supported by the machines who also acted as their operator.

All three sat down in place and tapped in thei individual jack in codes.

"DK you've got to stop being so quiet."

"Oooh!"

"Aaagh!"

"Errr!"

They were all jacked in. Appearing as three ordinary businessman clothed in overcoats they looked like nothing special but they were trouble....

"Ok, where the hell are we?" asked one of alpha team,

"Well, where-ever we are, its definitely not back home!"

"Thats for sure! our government would never permit buildings that high" he said pointing at giant skyhscraper, "Especially they wouldnt after those terriost attacks we heard about shortly before we got here!"

they proceeded down the street marvelling at what they were seeing, it wasnt until a half hour later that they realized they were wearing diffrent outfits

"Woah! have any of you guys noticed what were wearing?"

"Check it out! you got on some sweet leathers!! and check out those cool shoes your wearing!!"

"Yeah, weird isnt it?"

"Lets stop talking and start fiding out about this place!"

they resumed walking and one of them looked down an alleyway and noticed a person working on a laptop

"Hey wait up guys! maybe this person can help clue us into what this place really is!"

with that, they walked down the alley to see what they could find out from this person....

OOC: weyr, dont try to kill my guys if your charecter can help it.

OOC: I'm a Medium Sized Human ship, crew of five who get jacked in, two operators, and two gunners.

The Tauros was barrelling threw the pipeline. Captain Zane, Zach, Croc, Laura, and Tira had just exited the Matrix. The long range scanners had detected three sentinals coming toward their positions. The radar operator/pilot Ben had picked up the signals and had yelled down to Stef to warn the five in the Matrix. Zane, Zach, Croc, Laura, and Tira exited immediately, and they fled the scene, knowing that there wasn't another ship in their range. Jon and Burt fired upon the sentinals as they started moving, when Zane had just gotten to his seat in the cockpit with Stef, his operator. The sentilal that Jon and Burt hadn't gotten had called for help. They now had seven sentinals chasing them, and Laura and Zach were helping on guns.

Laura fired five shots into the front of a sentinal, downing it in the pipeline. The ship had now dropped down a level from broadcast, and was flying in a narrow pipe. Jon and Zach all brought down two more each. The last two had gotten in close, but Burt shot one of them. The ship turned a corner, and the sentinal was on the hull cutting through. Croc ran along a catwalk and shot it as it breached the hull. They set the ship down in a small, hidden, secluded area and tried to make radio contact.
"This is Captain Zane of the Tauros. Repeat, Captain Zane of the Tauros. We are down near Junction 42. We are in need of some repairs. We have knocked out two pads, and have a breach on our hull. Repeat, this is the Tauros, we are set down near Junction 42. Please come as soon as possible with technicians."

@Drum Gods: You -do- know that it is impossible to broadcast to or from Zion because it's so far down? That's the whole reason people jack into the Matrix from hoverships. On the other hand, there are questions as to how the hell people make deals with the Matrix if they can only jack in on a small ship.

Akira had leaned against a wall, for all purposes a regular businesswoman doing some work via Wi-Fi, not wanting to be disturbed. In reality, she was checking the location of an access route, another potential back door into the guts of the Matrix, though that was not something a passerby might have noticed.

Three guys, armed. What the... she wondered. She could not get into the actual pipe of the Matrix, yet, but she did have a laptop equipped with a millimeter-wave radar. Anything was possible in the Matrix, for a good enough hacker.

They can get to the construct, but they can't actually get into the Matrix. That's what Zion Control was in the second movie with the people on the 2D black line computers in the white space.

Edit: Let me clarify. They can get into the program, but they can't get into the Matrix where the trapped people are because the signal isn't strong enough. There is a level of pipes where when they get there, they can. That is Broadcast Level. That is where they broadcast the signal. (And I know all this from the movies)

OOC: my guys weapons are hidden under there oufits, they wouldnt have lasted 15 minutes out in the open with weapons visible and with no government affiliation.

"Greetings, we represent the government of Draganovia and we are on a mission to find out what this planet is like, we dont mean anyone harm but we are armed if we have to defend ourselves, we seek only to find out what kind of planet this is and why its a so called 'virtual world', we seek information about this planet and how it is run and if we can establish any kind of relations with the government if possible, if the government is corrupt, we dont wish to establish relations but we can help topple it"

OOC: remember that my two people have only been around for a week, so they're still figuring out how everything works. Akira has only gotten into the Matrix twice -- once to see if the systems work, and now to actually do something. BTW, she would prolly look like a warped Agent or something to someone watching the Matrix on external feed (the green numbers). Millimeter-wave is capable of detecting small metal objects down to a millimeter in size. In theory, it can count the change in your pocket.

"Oko....what the hell are these guys smoking," she wondered briefly. "You, are on what appears to be a constructed virtual world. The why or how, I have no idea. The who, is something you should ask the intelligence systems in the real world. Now who the hell are you?"

"my name is Jason Fisher and these are my partners Phil and Sam, we stumbled across this planet while our ship was cruising space, we were curious about the planet and we had no idea that it was, our commander wanted to send us down to find out about the planet, thats baisically why were here, dont ask us how we got here, ask our tech wiz up in our ship that somehow beamed us into this world, other then that were as clueless about this place and we want to know exactly what this place is"

with that he finished talking and waited for a response....

"Near as I can tell, this is a basic virtual world. The why and how, I have no idea; I only arrived here six days ago. The where, is another part. Most of the people here appear to have no idea that this is a simulation, leading me to assume that either this place was constructed by the constructed-intelligence systems who are dominant on the actual planet, or that this place was designed by the ancestors of the ones who now inhabit this virtual world.

"We should get moving," she says suddenly, pushing herself off the wall, sealing her small laptop and slinging it over her shoulder by a shoulderstrap.

"why is there some sort of danger or what?"

all of a sudden jason spotted a man out of the corner of his eye who appeard to be dressed in standard buisness executive overcoat and he was wearing dark glasses, jason decided not to look at him for fear that he might be watching them for some reason that jason didnt like, he whispered,

"Dont look now, but someones watching us, i dont like the way hes looking at us so lets quietly and quickly get out of here"

he started walking down the alley in the opposite direction that the mysterious man was watching them from.....

Three men stand in a hotel room. They cock their weapons and hid them under their trenchcoats. They were freedom fighters fighting againest the machines. They were three men who were freed by the "The One" aka Neo. They walked outside and got into a black 1970 Chevelle SS. "Ok, watch out for Agents and let's freed Mouse" the leader said. OOC: the lobby scene from The Matrix will be happen soon."

Akira was already walking down the darkened alleyway, beside Jason, matching his stride. "Don't run, you only draw attention to yourself. if we're being watched, then we don't know if it's an enforfer or a regular smith. I don't know what enforcer ghosts this system uses, and staying in one place has been a bad idea in every other Net like this I've been in."

all of a sudden jasons cell phone he had been given rings...

"I... aw s***!! what do i do?!"

with that, jason slowly reached into his pocket and tryed to find the hang up button before he attracted anymore unwanted attention to himself....

You, are a moron, Akira wants to say. "Next time, pick it up." They enter into a busy avenue, filled with daytime crowds.

jason looked at his recent caller list as they enterd the crowd

"Unidentified caller... wonder who it could have been? maybe it was that guy that was watching us.. but then again how could he have my number?? sorry i didnt pick it up but i thought if it was my boss, then that guy may have ovrheard my phone call.. i wonder about him.."

jason gave a casual look over his shoulder and saw that the mysterious man was still following them

"i think we better get out of the open, that guy is still following us, lets try one of those big office buildings that i see all over the place, its bound to have a back door we can use to ditch him"

he started heading in the direction of a big building, on the way over he noted that a black car with three men in it...

The crew minus Jon, Burt, and Stef met in the dining area. Zack brought up a map of the pipe system. "Ok, we have a knocked out pad from the sentinal and one that's missing from that last turn. We are here. Our long-range transmittor has been knocked out, so we can't transmit messages that far."

"Ok," said Zane, "We are going to go back up to broadcast level. We will do this slowly. I want holographics and EMP manned at all times, as well as four guns manned. We want to be careful and safe as we can't get away that fast. Tira, I want you on the scanner console for long range scans. Once we get a broadcasting position, Zach and I will enter the matrix and try to find a ship to help us. Ben, I want you to fix the hull breach as best you can. We want to keep a good temperature in here so we don't freeze to death."

With that said, they all went to what they needed to do and began to make their way to Broadcast Level.

"Won't work," Akira responded, though she still followed Jason into the building. There was no reason in finding out the capabilities of these bots alone. "If that's an enforcer, then he's tracking us through the system."

Walking through the streets the motley cru of suits calmly tracked anyone that didn't look familiar. That was their job to mess things up for everyone and put paid to the idea that there was a future for Zion. So far things were running smoothly enough. No-one had caught.....

"Yo, check those guys heading into that building,"exclaimed Igor.

The three men, shades shining in the midday Sun, stopped and stared at the group heading into the building.

"Follow."

Brett's word was barely whispered but they were already moving in that direction with a purpose.....

The Tauros reached a safe broadcast position, and Zane and Zach got into their seats to be jacked in. Ben hooked them up and they were in. They appeared in a very dingy room in black trenchcoats and reflectvie black sunglasses. They were both armed with MP5s and Glock 9mms.

The two men, who looked awfully strange compared to other people, walked down the street. Zane called Stef on the cell phone he had to keep in contact, "Ok, I need the nearest exit location where I can patch the laptop into the system," he said into the phone when Stef answered.

"Ok, office building. To your left," she said. They looked at it and saw people walking in with three trailing behind them. Zane and Zach didn't recognize any of them. They entered the building and went to the elevators. "thirtieth floor," she said as they got into the elevator. Zach pressed the button that read 30. When they got to the floor, they got out and went down the hall, "Left. Now right. Now go straight. Left," she said and they were in a small office with a phone and a cable jack on a desk. Zach closed the door and Zane hooked the laptop up. He began hacking and was in the Matrix computer system in seconds. He began scanning imput jacks looking for output numbers of hacked ports. He immediately found one and got a trace signature and a number. He dialed the number and got the operator of the Vigilant.

"Operator, this is Captain Zane of the Tauros. We are damaged and are in need of some repair and supplies."

"Ok," the operator said, "Give me your coordinates"

Zane patched an uplink to the other ship and sent coordinate locations, "Done," he said.

"Ok, We will arrive as soon as possible," he said and hung up.

Just then, Zach's phone rang, "Yeah?" he said as he picked up.

"Agent coming to the office immediately. They just changed something in the system, that exit has been blocked. Run," he heard Stef's voice say. He hung up the phone as Zane packed up his laptop.

"Agent. Come on, we're going." They walked out of the office and saw the agent walking down the hallway. They ran the other way to a flight of stairs and started running up, there were 59 floors in this building, so they ran up as fast as possible. They eventually started jumping from flight to flight across the stairwell, the Agent following them. They reached the roof and started jumping across buildings. They jumped across 5 buildings over, tending to go downward each time. They reached a building of about 39 floors. They found an elevator shaft and began to slide down the cables. They entered the top hatch of the elevator and then went down the bottom one until they reached the lobby floor of the building, and exited the shaft onto the street.

Zane picked up his phone and dialed to the Operator. "Give me an exit," he said as they started walking fast-paced down the street.

Brett's arms shot out either side of him stopping his two partners in crime:

"Wait, I'm getting something."

Brett paused. Before turning around and briskly starting to walk down the street in the opposite direction:

"We're needed elsewhere. Agents are tracking some unknowns that tried to crack their way in. It's back up."

The two quickly rallied behind and as they moved down they spotted their targets. With a flick of the wrist their overcoats were undone revealing an assortment of weapons.

The three quickly leaped into the air releasing a hail of Uzi Fire upon those before them....

OOC: Is that me?

"Holy S***!!! get down!!"

jason jumped out of the way of a hail of bullets and his partners followed suit, they throwed off there jackets and whipped out there glocks and began to return fire.

"How the hell did they find out we were here?!"

jason yelled over returning bullets and and heading for cover

"Search me i dont know!"

replied sam while doing the same, jason had this weird feeling come over him while they were fighting, he felt as if he knew when bullets were flying at him and knew when to duck out of the way, he also felt like he knew when bullets were coming at his partners, this feeling saved the life of his partner Sam, he jumped at sam knocking him down before a bullet hit him, when he jumped to save him , another weird thing happend, he felt as if time had slowed down and that he could see the bullets moving in slow motion and that they left trails behind them, he also felt like he was moving slightly faster then anything else around him

"what the hells going on?!" he thought, having no time to think after he landed and time seemed to return to normal speed, he ran out of mags for his glock and shoved it quickly back into his pants and whipped out his MP5....

OOC: Is that me?

"Interesting," Akira valuted up, pushed off a column and across the lobby as gunfire peppered the marble walls and columns, to land next to Jason. "Was it you, or me?"

"Less talking more fighting!"

Jason nailed a guard that was attempting to take cover behind a desk,

Guard: "we need backup!!"

jason hearing him say this, unloaded the last of his current clip on the guard, the guard slumped over dead, all of a sudden 5 soldiers break into the room, and took cover behind the pillars and started to open fire on the small group....

OOC: after this RP is over, im gonna start the sequel to it.

"You're doing fine," Akira responded. Besides, she was not exactly armed.

"Here catch!!" Phil throwed his glock over to akira....

"Yeah!" Phil whipped out his MP5 and drilled 2 guards that were trying to sneak up on Jason...

Ok I guess I am entering a bit late but oh well.

Give me details on what has happend and what is currently happening so I can enter un confused.

OOC: is it possible that all the people playing as zion rebels could meet somewhere and then make a run for an exit???

Zane looked behind him to see if the Agent was gone. He was, he was nowhere in sight. Zach got a call from Stef confirming this. But, what Zane did notice was gunshots fired from inside the office building they exited. They immediately ran to the building, each pulling out an MP5 from their trenchcoats, and cocking them as they entered the entranceway. They pulled each to the side and shot into the building, seeing a number of military guards shooting at four people in the building. They walked back into the building and took cover behind a couple of columns, firing upon the guards.

"We're getting an exit up soon, so we are gonna be able to get out soon!" Zane yelled. He fired five shots into the chest of another guard as he said this.

"Run for it!! we got backup!!" Jason yelled, jason phil and sam ran for the entrance of the lobby that they were fighting in, jason dived behind a pillar and started to provide cover fire for his men,

"Get out of here!! ill be fine!!"

sam and phil both dived out the doors and jason soon followed after killing two guards that got too close to him,

"Isnt that the guy who was tailing us when we came in here?" asked sam pointing out the man in the buisness suit

"I think it is!! and he has a gun!!" jason dived out of the way of a bullet that streaked towards him, phil and sam took cover behind light posts and started shooting at the man the with the overcoat....

Zane and Zach simultaniously loaded new clips and emptied them in a hail of bullets at the guards, covering and taking the woman who hadn't ran out and Zach threw two phosphorus grenades in as they exited the building. This was followed five seconds later by a large explosion in the lobby.

What they saw came as a total shock. The Agent that had chased them was holding a gun aiming at the three who exited before them. Zach reloaded a clip, "RUN!" he said and fired at the Agent, emptying it at him, but the agent was dodging it. Zane immediately ran the opposite direction down the street.

"Come on!" he said to the four who were still there, "Run, follow me!" he said and started running the opposite directon. "Don't fight they're too powerful."

Akira didn't really bother shooting -- she was not that good with guns, and this particular avatar was not suited for such things in any case. She followed Jason and his team outside, shooting two guards coming into the lobby at the other end, thoigh not wounding them fatally.

"Run for it!!" jason yelled, the three men ran after zane, jason started to feel the same weird feeling that had overcame him earlier on, he saw time seem to slow down again, he noticed he was moving slightly faster then evreynoe else and he noticed a bullet heading for phil and he dived and tackled him right before the bullet hit him saving him, as they were going down, he noticed the agent was standing by a parked car, jason fired at the hood of the car, the shots caused the car to blow up knocking the agent off his feet, time resumed normal spped for him and he and phil got up and started running not waiting to see if the agent had been killed our not....

Zane continued to run with the others following. Manwhile, Zach took out his Glock and fired on the Agent. He dodged every bullet. The Agent aimed and fired at Zach. Zach was hit six times in the chest. He fell to the ground dead. "No!" said Zane looking back, but continued to run. (I'm on another computer so I'll make more later)

"Get him!!" jason yelled,

jason and sam ran and picked up the limp body of there fallen rescuer, phil provided cover fire for them as they ran down the street after zane....

OOC: Rather singed, and running after Jason....until this post.

Some might have wondered why Akira was no longer running away from the Agent. "Guess that's what an enforcer looks like in this world," she muttered, watching the black suit. She raised her borrowed glock, fired off the rest of its clip to see what would happen...

Zane kept running beside Jason, "He could still be alive. We just need to get to an exit soon. Do you have contact with whatever vessal you are with?" he said as they ran. He yelled to Akira, "Run! He can dodge any bullet you throw at him!" he said and kept running. His phone rang to the side and Stef told him directions to the nearest exit. He found a van and asked stef for a hotwiring program. He was granted it and started the van. "Get in! All of you!"

"We do have contact with our ship but as you can see were a lttle pressed after mister fancy pants with a gun started shooting at us! well make contact with our ship later!" jason yelled as he and sam hauled zachs body into the van

"I think hes alive but im not sure, if we dont get him out of here soon well lose him!" phil jumped into the van and reloaded his MP5 and then started to fire at the agent again

"Akira!! get over here!! theres nothing more you can do!" phil yelled at her, sam continued to fire at the agent from the vans door with his MP5 to cover for akira....

Interesting, Akira thoght. Guess that was a bad idea. the first of the agent's bullets whizzed past her ear. She dodged, vaulted up, flipped, landed in a full-tilt run towards the van.

Nighthawk 0052 discovered the previously unknown planet while on deep space patrol. A team will be dispatched to investigate the strange energy readings. It is covered with thick, black clouds, but otherwise appears that is was once inhabited by a race of humans.

"Can i have my glock back?" phil yelled as akira approached the van "I need it bad because im getting low on ammo for my MP5!"

"Catch,"[ AKira chucked the gun at him, got into the van.

"Thanks!" phil replied catching his gun, phil pulled himself into the van and sam jumped in and slammed the door shut,

"Get us the hell out of here!!" jason said to Zane....

Zane pulled away, still on the phone. He sped down the street, "Phil, two clips for your MP5. Shoot out the back if we're being chased." He pulled out his phone, "Stef get me out of here," he said.

He was given a set of orders and followed them, entering an ally and going into a metal door, which he latched behind him. They went down stairs, "Ok, I want you all to get in contact with whoever your ship is. Tell them to program this into their computer," he handed them a sheet of paper, "And once they finish and execute that, they can unjack you."

all of a sudden Jasons cell rang and pulled it out and looked at the caller id "Same one as last time, unidentified caller, i think it is that agent guy that we ran into back there, should i answer it??" he showed his cell phone to Zane...
