The venerable nation of cloudships wishes to find safe harbor in a country that has similar outlook as a nation. We wish to moor 800 air ships there and trade for industrial parts and basic supplies. Provided proper insentive aircraft may be purchased from the country selected. We're pieceable but require we're reconized as a national entity.

The Federation of Aligned Planets would like to enquire as to where you acquired 800 airships. Your Government Budget is $21,202,245,120.00, with which you have to balance administration, education, social welfare, health, defence and other Governmental Departments.

Until we know the true size of your fleet, or from where you obtained these vessels - we cannot and will not allow you access to air space.

ooc: just in case anyone is wonder cloudships is a nation of just that cloudships. The nations only land is 800 blimps or so and they need to find an allyable nation to land in and trade with. This is an open rp which I expect to lead to a diplomacy rp. oh and um bump

Whilst we have no interest in the gases themselves, we are now in a position to open our airspace to you and offer you respite. However - we do require

1) 5% of all profits made with the sale of Industrial strength refined gases

2) An pledge from your leader that you will not attack our Nation. Whilst we will not mobilise any forces as a precaution, you are warned that any aggressive action will be met in kind.

3) Detailed schematics of your airships.

If we can agree to these terms, you will be granted unrestricted access to our airspace for an indefinate period of time.

ooc/description: AP, my rp premice is that through an underground movement the nation itself in individual pieces declared its independance and took to the skies(from other various nations) as prefinanced blimps. Only 5% of these blimps are entirely military and are armed defensively and there is a total of 1600 military airplanes (mostly vtol type aircraft and small air to air fighters) The nation itself has no actual land. Its problems mostly stem from this including low actual resources and generally low population. The blimps can withstand attack up to 50% total damage due to their modular design for safty's sake. We're a completely passive/defensive nation who wishes to promote its socialist point of view and expand through further addition of population through blimps and aquizition of technology for better flight less need to make supply stops becoming self sufficient. Now that thats out of the way:

IC:The nation requests to land as we run low on resources. We also would like to share technology with nations involved. We request freedom of speach, political amnisty,and passports for all the nations citizens and a treatise of peace with any nation that would extend its friendship.

Well, New_Osea would be willing to harbor your nation of airships. Assuming you have a military that could add to our strenth, rather than be a hinderance like some 3'd world armys.

You are cleared to land in Aligned Planets. Please proceed to the co-ordinates being transmitted to you now; we have allocated to you the T. Johnson Military Airport; nine airstrips in an uninhabited section to the South-East of our Nation.

Please feel free to set down any and all of your ships in the surrounding area; we are despatching refuellers to that location, along with temporary housing, food and medical supplies.

It is the wish of this President that we sign a friendship accord.

On behalf of His Imperial Majesty, Emperor Matthew VI of Falastur, the Imperial Government of Falastur offers the nation of Cloudships unlimited aerospace access over Falastur, with full permission to moor at any point in our nation. We are also willing to grant you full access to our nation, with all the rights of a citizen, on the condition that your citizens cary proof of identity and that they abide by our laws - both of these clauses need only apply during your citizens' time on the ground (so you don't need to follow our laws when you are in your airships, as long as your actions do not deliberately harm any Falasturian). We are also willing to negotiate if you seek anything else. While it is true that our nation is in the middle of a war at this point, it need not bother you or interfere with your lives, as it only affects a small area of our land (Falastur is divided up into a few different areas of land, you would have access to all but only one is caught up in the war atm).

We hope you give this offer due thought, and look forward to your reply.

between: The Federation of Aligned Planets and The United Socialist States of Cloudships.

1) Both Nations agree to contribute to the mutual defence of the other nation. Both Nations pledge not to declare war or take an aggressive stance against another nation without prior consultation with each other.

2) Both Nations agree not to interfere with the internal politics of the other nation, yet will offer advice, support and aid to each other whenever it is requested.

3) All United Socialist States of Cloudships vessels are free to move whenever they like inside the borders of the Federation of Aligned Planets, and are not restricted to remain within the borders. However, if a Cloudships vessel is attacked outside the borders of Aligned Planets - it is not the responsibility of the Aligned Planets to take an aggressive action. We may do if the situation requires it.

4) The two nations pledge to share scientific and socio-economic data, but do not have to share any sensitive data pertaining to internal security or any other matter which could be considered Need-to-know.

5) This Mutual Protection Pact can be revoked at any time, but only with prior notice to the other nation. If the Pact is revoked with notification, the two nations can be considered to be hostile to each other.
