Governments of the world, the emperial government of the Alexian empire is happy to announce our new campaign to establish new, beneficial international relations. We are preparing many plots of land for embassies in and near our capital, and encourage you to apply for one. It is very likely you will be accepted.

Here is the deal. The plots will be the seize of a normal embassy (only about as big as say, a community center), they will be officially your sovereign land, your laws will apply and all that. We will provide you with some help in constructing it if necessary. Your diplomats will be granted diplomatic immunity (within reason of course, ask for details if you like.) Now, you can do whatever you like, it is your sovereign land, but we want you to build an embassy, k? You can have whatever you like in it, however many guards and whatever (of course, within reason. I.e., if you fill it with spy equipment, nuclear bombs, whatever, we will bring it up.) Your embassy staff and officials and such will be allowed to come and go as they please, but all flights and stuff must be told to us ahead of time.

In return, we must receive an embassy at least that seize near your capital, with the exact same deal.

To apply, just give us a bit of info on your country, your intentions, and so on.

The government basically is on auto-pilot currently, as the Leftists have enacted most of their platform, since they've been in power for the last thirty years (though not with the same Prime Minister). Unlike the prevailing international stereotype of leftists, members of the Socialist and Communist party are not in the least bit anti-military. In fact, the Communist Party is quite militaristic. The Green party is neither pro or anti-military.

Callisdrunian culture is seen by many outsiders to be a bit on the morbid side, Callisdrunians themselves think of their culture as normal, but if it is morbid, that might be because it is always dark in Callisdrun. Lokiaa is a nation of generally rural people situated in a relativley temperate climate. Our country of 14 million people encompasses a vast swathe of territory, roughly the size of Poland, leading us to be more reliant on more traditional industries and past-times; mining and agriculture are very important.

The nation essentially was a stateless society until just a few years ago when President Steele began to establish a centralized government. Much to the dismay of some groups, Steele has banned certain practices, such as human sacrifice(though it was rare even in the one province it existed)
However, the people of Lokiaa, though independent minded and prideful in their self-reliance, are very accepting and embracing of major leaders, of which President Steele is considered to be. Major businessmen and some philosophers also are highly esteemed.

Recent modernization programs, such as the construction of highways, centralized bureacracy, and an established military, has led the country to become more urbanized and industrial than in the past. Many people are stubborn and refuse to accept the new foreign tourists(who love the natural beauty of Lokiaa), but, the majority of people are tolerant of new people. This is evident in the warm atmosphere of Lokiaa City, the new capital city freshly constructed by order of President Steele, and in our primary port city of Hajaf, which is facilitating most international trade. These cities are becoming new places of culture, indoctrinating fresh ideas of theatre, and even hosting foreign rock bands.
The future looks bright for Lokiaa, and we would love for Alexias to be a part of it.

A little about the Republic:
