Official Statement from The Proletariat Commonwealth of The Island of Rose:

The Island of Rose is officially disarming its nuclear arsenal of 70 ICBM Nuclear Peacekeepers. The recepiant of the various weapons shall be the nation of Hamptonshire. We have already negotiated the contract and the weapons are now being loaded on barges. We await for the money to be wired towards the Rosian Treasury. This is a proud day, and we hope we never build nuclear weapons again. And yes, I was angry when I installed them.

Official Statement from the Office of the Foreign Minister

This is a great day in the collective histories of the Grand Duchy of Hamptonshire and the Proletariat Commonwealth of The Island of Rose. The nuclear devices being transfered to Hamptonshire shall be decommissioned and all nuclear materiale will be refined into fuel-grade rods for use in civilian powerplants throughout the Grand Duchy.

It must also be noted that the agreement negotiated between Hamptonshire and The Island of Rose includes a Nuclear Mutual Defense Clause. Accordingly, The Island of Rose now enjoys full nuclear protection as provided by the "Hamptonian Nuclear Umbrella". Any nuclear or non-conventional weapons attacks launched aganist The Island of Rose will be a direct attack up the Grand Duchy of Hamptonshire itself and the Strategic Weapons Service will respond with appropriate force.

This agreement should not only serve as an example of what a nation should do in regards to Weapons of Mass Destruction, but also in regard to the relationships between close allies. While the Grand Duchy and the Proletariat Commonwealth will have their differences and arguments, our friendship is built on a solid and unshakeable foundation. It is in the supreme interest of both nations to maintain and inhance our formalized relations.

We thank our allies for the support we have received. We do this for two reasons. Number one, I do not find a single use for them other then destroying the environment the Island has worked so hard to protect. And second, it should help us focus our funds into other projects. We also want to thank our ally Hamptonshire for the generous offer the offered us. These weapons could've been in the hand of maniacs. Field Marshal Atsvlan's eyes widened as he read of how The Island of Rose was brave and disarmed to show the world they do not need nuclear weapons to fight the world. He opened another folder nearby, showing the forces under the Nyctno military branch known as "Strategic Command"'s command.
