Lieutenant Gardad walked over to the trailer that the Raptorian Soldiers were staying in, wanting nothing but to check up on them. He had just left a meeting with the Chief Contractor of the embassy construction, and had every intent to make these new guests confortable.

As the Sergeant heard the knock on the door, he quickly donned his helmet and made his way to the entrance. He checked his Desert Eagle to assure if he were to face trouble; it was dealt with quickly. He opened the door, and to his surprise, it was the Lieutenant once more. “Oh! Sir, do come in.” As he motioned Gardad to step inside.

Gardard noted the desert eagle, but thought nothing of it. He himself was a cautious one, so it was expected if anyone would be ready, just in case. Nodding a thanks to the Sergeant, he came inside and looked around.

"So," started the Lieutenant, "how is your stay going?"

"Good," The sarge said as he nodded to the Lieutenant. "So far. May I ask when the construction will take place?"
Anagonia

"Well, its already started actually. Before you'd arrived we had cleared the Five Acre plot for construction. Now were already getting foundation shipments from the nearby city of Independence."

12:00 Noon, Raptoria City – Another hot day, only this time, a new dawn would come.

Raptorian Military Base 1, Just outside of Raptoria City – Praetor Rapion sat inside the first set of barracks, a small, thin, tin shell surrounded him. He looked to his two bodyguards, Xavier and Vengend, and nodded to them. It was now time to show Raptoria, the greatest scientific breakthrough in recent memory. As he pulled out his .357 caliber Chrome Desert Eagle, he examined its sleek build, and made sure it had full ammo, just in case.
Outside of the barracks, was a large, long, concrete stage, and standing as the audience, was 10,000 Raptorian Soldiers all wearing identical armor, not distinguishing one from another.
“Is it time?” Asked Rapion. His two guards nodded… The Anagonian leader was about to arrive…

12:11 PM, Raptoria City

Arrival at Military Base 1
Drakomis Reign looked down at the landing spot, the UH-60L Blackhawk making an easy landing near a small building. Scanning the area, he noticed a stage off someways, but returned his concentration to where he would meet the supposed Raptorian Leader.

Getting out of the Blackhawk, his custom M16/M203 on his back, General Reign continued towards the tin building. Knocking on the outside, he waited.

Rapion jumped at the sound, almost pulled for his pistol, but then realized who it was. He stood with his two guards at his sides and slowly opened the door. He saw Reign in his standard issue general's uniform and gave a crisp salute, smiled and said, "Would you like to see what I have in store?"
Anagonia

Drakomis returned the salute and nodded, "I'd be delighted, don't get out much anyway."

Rapion nodded and motioned him to follow. He took the commander to what looked like a normal elevator. "Now I must warn you, what you are about to see is classified, if you are to leak any technical details, you will be shot." He saw the General move uneasily a slight bit. "Don't worry, we trust you..." As they stepped in the elevator followed by the two guards, Rapion did a routine retina, blood, and password scan. The elevator hummed and began to desend.

OOC: Roger that.

Drakomis looked Rapion, then the guards, finally sighing. He hadn't expected any suprises on this kind of scale, secrets and stuff. Either way, however, what satisfied his worry was that they trusted him enough to expose a secret. He would never tell, not unless they allowed.

He stood silently there, listening to the hum of the elevator. It was kind of relaxing, really. A gentle hum of sorts. Drakomis had a busy week, somehow this elevator got his mind off of it...

The humming came to an abrupt stop as the metalic floor of the elevator crashed to the stone floor of the underground military base. The door slid open, and the 4 men stepped out into what looked like a gigantic laboratory. Rapion shivered a slight bit. "Cold down here, much nicer than the temperature up there..." He began to walk towards a door labled "CRYO-LAB 2"

Drakomis awoke from his apparent daze, in time to hear Rapion's comment on the temperature. He exhaled, his breath a slight mist. "Yea, sure is."

Stepping from the elevator and following the Raptorian Leader, Drakomis noted the door label and began to ponder what lay inside, all the time observing his surroundings.

Rapion stopped suddenly at what looked like a large metal egg. On the front end of the "egg" was a clear, acryllic window, inside was a mass of blue, misty liquid... Drakomis peered in and saw a figure of some sort, curled into a ball. The figure was about the size of a teenage human. "What you see there..." Rapion interrupted. "Is our newest development, in it's infant years... The Raptor soldier." As he spoke those words, a lift decended from above, on it, stood 3 Raptors dressed in full Raptorian war armor. Drakomis stood in shock as Rapion introduced the next Raptorian fighting force.

Drakomis's shock was well recieved by his mind, three beings that seemed to come from movies and drawings were right before him. He could have never imagined such a development from anything. But, the shock on his face was short-lasting, as he regained his composure. It occured to him that these genetic creations were one-of-a-kind, were similar to something else he knew of. His father had told him stories when he was a child about a race of-...

Drakomis shook his head, no story of walking and talking komodo dragons could be true. No, he couldn't be one either, they just couldn't be real, even if the dreams he had been having said differently...

"Amazing creatures," Drakomis finally commented, "are they sentient? Can they think on their own?"
Raptorian Federation
21-11-2004, 04:47
Rapion rasied an eyebrow. "Yes, they are. They can think for themselves, but they are deathly obediant." He said as he clapped one on the shoulder, it didn't flinch.

"They follow orders, and they know not of death nor ego, and perhaps the greatest thing is... They overpower humans... Their brute strength is unmached verses infantry, and their IQ well exceeds 200... But the only thing that keeps them in line, is a human's intellect." Drakomis looked impessed as Rapion continued. "Yes, the boys at R&D worked hard, they've modified the part of the human brain that creates free will, replaced it with a simple electrode that dictates what they can and cannot do... And presto, instant warrior."

OOC: No matter how crazy thing sounds, it's not a godmod, they do have their serious disadvantages, but I'll get to that later. =P

OOC:

Ok, lol

IC:

Drakomis looked one of the creatures in the eye. Yes, he was amazed with what these Raptorian scientists could do, and yes he was glad to see a new ally with technological capabilities. But even so, he had pitty for this creature. No free will.....no life but war.....yes Drakomis knew war, even how it felt to become used to it. Horrible, it was.

"Pretty amazing, but just to ask, could one of these creatures be GIVEN free-will? I mean, you know, just to ask."
Raptorian Federation
21-11-2004, 04:56
"Oh yes, ofcourse." Rapion stated. "We Raptorians don't believe in slavery, and this is far from it. They're just genetic mutants, they have lives, but they know nothing of death or ideals, they can think to solve, but not to have emotion. As cold as this sounds I know, but please, do not let it hamper our two nations relations." He began to exit the hall, with his bodyguards and the three Raptors following, drumming their claws in the air.

Drakomis nodded, his nation was also against Slavery, and a big feeling of relief was felt when Rapion said similiar. "Don't worry," he had said, "No relations hampered at all." Still, he pondered, and wondered, but didn't go too far into it.

Following Rapion, he exhaled to see the coldness withstanding everywhere, his breath still misting.

As they walked to the same servace elevator as before, but this time Drakomis noticed a crate labled "Anthrax Vials, C" Drakomis paused to examine the crate. One of the Raptors said in a lizard like tounge, "Coming sir?" As Rapion reached the elevator he said calmly, "Oh yes, they are capable of 10 diffrent languages too."

21-11-2004, 05:13
Drakomis looked up in amazment, realizing there and then just HOW smart these Raptor Soldiers were. He gave a smile, nodded to the Raptor Soldier, and then went into the elevator.

"Amazing how much one can do," commented Drakomis, whom then looked to the Raptor whom spoke to him. "What is your name?"

21-11-2004, 05:20
"Unit Number 2." The soldier responded flatly.

Drakomis nodded, suddenly becoming calmed by the humming of the elevator again. Once more forgetting all that was around him, going into a daze of sorts. A though crossed his mind, then it went easily. He would indeed have to get whatever made this humming into his office, it would severly help.
