IMS Izistan completes sea trials, commissioned into Navy.
November 20th 2004.
Today the Izistani battleship Izistan completed her three month long sea trials and was commissioned into the Izistani Navy. The ship is the first battleship that Izistan has ever operated and is quite capable and is able to project power anywhere around the globe, thanks to its twin nuclear reactors and heavy armament. Her sister ship, the IMS Potemkin is expected to be launched in late December 2004. Her reactors are meltdown proof thanks to the pebblebed design adopted by the Navy. It is believed the Izistan will make a series of visits to various Izistani ports before linking up with the First Fleet in the Mediterranean Sea.

Izistani Waters.
The large armored form of the Izistan plowed through the two meter swells with ease, thanks to her powerful reactors and raked bow. The North-Western Pacific was not the best location for pleasure boating, though the Izistani thought it was quite nice, if a little cold. Still, the bridge was warm and Captain David Thuxtan had a nice cup of cocoa. The bridge had multiple LCD readouts and this was what Captain Thuxtan strolled around looking at. The surface search radar picked up a few foreign ships, the local radio traffic had a few fishermen chatting away about good fishing areas. In fact, the area would have been quite normal except for the massive battleship that was cruising through the area on its patrol route which would take the battleship to various Izistan ports.
OOC: You can have a spy satellite take a picture or a reconnaissance aircraft. Or have a submarine or some sort of naval vessel take a look. OOC comments are welcome too of course. I'd like to thank Sarzonia for his help with the design.
