OOC: As some of you know, and most of you don't, Senator Makalson was shot during his debate with President Holtz for the presidency. He survived that attempt, but was then rammed off the road. He survived that, but at the hospital a nearby car blew up as an attempt, a nurse injected him with poison, and he was shot by a National Guardsman. He survived the first two of the hospital assasination attempts, but was killed by the guard. All the assasins have been killed.

In hopes to foster diplomatic relations, the Siapian Secretary of State Don Houseman will attend the funeral personally.

The Empire of Risban sends its condolenses to the Holy Paradise for the loss of Senator Makalson. It also sends its sincere apologies for not being able to have anyone attend the funeral due to domestic problems.
