President: "How could this have happened again!" yelled the president as he slammed his fist on the desk. "For the second time we have to ask foreign countries to help us. Last time it was because we virutally had no army! Now its because our army is fighting!"

Golencian Police Chief: "Sir, we've lost 79 Officers so far. If we're unable to contain the militants then we may lose more. We'll have to recall our Marines and put Hadens in jeopardy."

President: "No. We can't recall Marines. Besides it'll take them 4 days just to get here!"

Police Chief: "Wells sir, we have only those two options."

President: "Prepare the press."

The Police Chief walked out of the office and to the Press Conference.
Moments later the President walked out and stared into the Cameras.

"Today we must ask, yet again, for foriegn Military to operate within our country. I have been informed we no longer control our Uranium Mines and the Entire southern coast is under militant control. We cannot recall Marines until we finish our war with Tailva, or else we lose hundreds more. So now i ask of you, the people of the world to help us."

The President stopped. Took a breath and walked out. He went back to his office where Cardinal Dupree was waiting. Shots were fired, and the Secret Service broke in the doors to see the Cardinal lying in a pool of blood and the President bent over his desk.

OOC: While we'll proceed as "tentatively as possible", we use VX and sarin to effect, and have a relatively heavy proliference of flamethrowers in our infantry :) We'll mainly use these as a scare tactic, probably.

The reason I would like a military facility is to train my soldiers under a different environment than the one we have here. Could you describe your environment? (If it is too similar to ours, then we'll bypass that condition). The aircraft carrier Eyrenstrong is being deployed to your southern coast, along with 2 AEGIS cruisers and several frigates and PT boats. The Siapian Intellegence Network Operational Detatchment Epsilon (SINOD Epsilon-our version of the Delta-Force) and the 4th Urban Assault Division have been sent to aid the fight against the militants.

His Excellency, the Emperor of Novus Arcadia, is more than willing to supply Golencia with 26,000 ground troops, which will be available for active duty within the following two days. If this is not sufficient military support, His Imperial Majesty would be willing to commit an additional 1,500 troops.

Unfortunately, the bulk of our military is occupied with the task of destroying the remaining rebel outposts of the Arcadian colony of Narbada, which is currently recovering from its revolution against the Empire.

If any more information is required concerning the availability of these troops, please feel free to request it.

We have no need for this environment, as we have plenty of it at home, so we no longer require a base. I can hit the shores with SINOD Epsilon and a few air-raids. I was planning to call a few airstrikes on militant controlled cities with the targets being power stations (We will use special bombs that will cause substations to short-out. This should limit reconstruction needed) and any large enemy troop movements. I was planning to have the UAD approach the cities via helicopter. Once they touch down, they will be under your effective command until the conflict is over.

I want them to land in the Golensburg AFB. Thier it is much safer, however we do have SAMs in the city but are currently disarmed.

*Cretulas City in the South*

The Golencian Police Force in the City of Cretulas conducting a sweep to enforce the temporary curphew met militant resistance. They open fired with AKs hitting several officers. They officers returned fire on the oncoming Militants, but were still overrun. They fell back to the City hall when the unthinkable happened. The Militants surged forward but an angry mob stormed from the corners with nothing but Clubs began to beat the enemy militants to their end.

After claiming a victory the mob was armed with AK-47s and were known as the City Guardian Force. The first of its kind in the Holy Republic of Golencia.

With the return of your troops, our forces are happy to assume any role you need of them if you still desire their aid. As standard we allow them to use VX and sarin at their discretion, but can withdraw this in a specific conflict if this is your wish, particularly if civilian casualties are a danger, or if your troops are not equipped to deal with such hazards. A large number are armed with fully-automatic shotguns, and a disproportionate number, as compared to other militaries, carry flamethrowers.

Excellent. We will begin shifting the troops immediately. One small problem.. with the tank's modular design, they can easily be dismantled and reassembled with ease as needed. However, we lack the tranport necessary to take them without this. With a friendly base in the vicinity we can speedily have our MBTs running, but without this we are either going to have to assemble them rough, which will cost us time, or else make an initial assault without armour. If you can supply us with haulage, of course, the point becomes moot.
We eagerly await your response, and will adjust our plans accordingly.

OOC: SB claims his tanks can be stripped of weighty components like turret, transmission, armour panels and engine and reassembled in 30 minutes. I reckon that's a bit of a godmode unless I'm flexible with it (plus like half my guys are stoners), but that's how I get them in my IL-76s...

Tailva would be willing to help it has a large weapons industry in it's country making almost 1,000 kalashnikovs an hour. Although the weapons are primative for your military you could dispatch them to your people so they has a way to defend themselves as they are an easy gun to use and require little or no training. On the main road to the capital our convoy of WOLF APCs have been attacked by the rebels. A roadside bomb has killed two soldiers and injured several others. In the perusing gunfight three rebels were killed and 1 taken prisonier. We request information on where these prisoners can be taken, and if there is no prison whether our re - enforcements can set up a temporary one at Goldensbourg Air Force Base when they land.

The injured troops were taken from the field by Chinooks to USS Astal, where they await the arrival of a hospital ship. This hospital ship will be open to Goleicien troops to as well as other friendly nations.

We have some very distrubing vidoe now. It invloves a golencia tourist family that has been captured by the terroist group in Zackaroth only known as Old Regime. We are going to play the vidoe so be advise this is not pretty. It is also confirmed that a tape of this has been sent to the leader of Golenica.

The terroist with maskes around there faces say some things in zackaroths native language. After talking they show each family own special toture area. The father can be seen getting cut while salt was poured on the wounds making it hurt more. The mother is seen hanging upside down so all the blood can rush to her head while she is being whipped by the back. the 7 year old boy is the most grusome. they slowly chop off his Fingers one by one with a knife. His screams are loud and high pitched.

"Men, We are going to take the city Cretulas. Be absolutely certain that no buildings are destroyed. The UAD will land and hold the main roads into the city and any water pump stations on the edge of the city, no one enters or leaves the city (Except Golencian or allied forces), while Epsilon makes hit and run raids into the city. Right now our aircraft is hitting the city. H-hour is in 2 hours, so MOVE!" The men scrambled

Meanwhile, two Blake 17 fighter-bombers flew low and fast over the ground. They pulled up as they aproached a larger water purification center. They soared over it and flew low over an electrical substation. They dropped four bombs and departed full at full afterburner. The bombs fell and at about 100 ft. over the substation they exploded spraying long metal ribbons all through the sky. They gently touched down and several sparks flew as they touched the wires and shorted out the power station.

two more blake fighters cruised over the city and directly above the city center dropped two large cartridges. They fell until they exploded about 100 ft. above the ground, raining anti-personell mines into the streets.

Attn: All nations involved in Golencia: will be dropping mines onto the main streets of Cretulas, as we will be dropping mines on them. We will remove them after the conflict is over.

The City of Cretulas is full of people who roam through the Skyscrapers in the center(center of city is an Island) of the city and love to go across the bridge connecting the city. Underneath the bridge are Sub blocking Nets. On the Southern Shore of Golencia many scientists find this a peaceful place to stay. On the edges of the Eastern half are many houses. While the west has colleges libraries and labratories.

The first of the transport helicopters veered off over a desinilization plant. Ropes dropped and the men descended and they darted inside the building. Several shots rang out. "Man down!" The other helicopters flew towards the city, one touching down on the main road going south out of the city. they promptly occupied an abandoned hotel. "South team in position" Another helicopter touched down on the roof of an apartment building on the Eastern edge "East team in position" A helicopter landed in a university field. Our last convoy will arrive in the vicinity of Haitus in approximately four hours, barring major incident. We have suffered RPG attack, at the loss of five good men. In addition, a tank has been put out of action for the upcoming liberation of Haitus, and we have been forced to abandon a portion of our food supplies due to the loss of one of your trucks.
We plan to take Haitus quickly with reliance on the tanks, supported by infantry. Machinegun nests and handheld SAMs will be placed at strategic locations. Buildings will be cleared of opposition by troops armed with automatic shotguns, and areas of major resistance will be shelled with sarin and burned out with flamethrowers.
Any issue with the plan will lead to its modification, but we kindly ask you remember we have no air support and minimal mobility for our infanty.

The Slaytaniccan forces encountered minimal resistance in the suburbs. The general had divided the force between every major road entering the city. Close to forty men were killed or injured due to assault rifle and RPG fire, and a tread was blown off a tank by a well-concealed mine, but so far resistance was far lower than expected and casulaties reflected this. 145mm shells and Golencian air support had made short work of the enemy roadblocks, and 10% of forces had been left to guard the exit roads of the city. Bitter streetfighting was expected in order to remove all rebels from the suburbs, but for now the general concentrated on taking the city.

The commander on the Eyrenstrong was approached by a corporal. "Sir! Its the UAD!"
The commander went to the radio. "Yes?"
"Sir! This is the 4th UAD. we've landed and are surrounding the city for a loose blockade! We disabled all water purifying plants except for two, which we cordoned off for our use. We doubt they can hole up in there too long without water!"

1100 Golencian Soldiers have departed for Zenneth. They will arrive shortly and engage the enemy.

Cretulas-Please enough with destroying the city! That was one of the first cities in Golencia! Agents have left and will extract as much information as possible.

The first Slaytaniccan tanks rolled into Haitus proper, after shelling various strategic vantage points with sarin. Gasmasked troops poured into these buildings, taking several losses from sniper fire, and subdued the remaining resistance with shotgun and assault rifle fire. From these vantage points they supported the tanks, hindered by their gasmasks. Suppression fire allowed the taking of buildings further in, and snipers were quickly set up in position.
Ten minutes later, the tanks with formations of troopers in tow had made good progress into the city - one tendril had made an incursion of almost a kilometre. Air support had been withdrawn, due to Spinebreaker's fear of SAMs within the city. So far, losses had been relatively few.

ATTN ALL NATIONS: This means you Brendanberia!
Hold off on your seige of Cretulas! We have cut off the rebel water supplies and are going to draw them out. This method will cause minimal collateral damage and civilian casualities. Also, be warned that we dropped anti-personell mines on some of the main roads. They are proximity mines and have a kill range of 6m.

Two fighters screamed over Cretulas. They roared in low over the buildings where the majority of the militants were thought to be. They dropped several canisters which burst open releasing leaflets, which read:
WEAPONS EXCHANGE: COME TO THE WATER PURIFYING PLANT IN THE SOUTH AND YOU WILL BE GIVEN WATER FOR YOUR GUNS! HURRY NOW BEFORE WE LAUNCH OUR STRIKE!
It also had a picture of a man giving a gun to a soldier and being taken to a stream. This was not the first nor the last of these leaflet drops, and soon the rebels would feel the effects of the dehydration.

Meanwhile, at the water purification facility
Several machine gun nests watched over the purification plant ominously. Many soldiers patrolled the ground, and a helicopter was parked in the parking lot. Several soldiers sat at a booth with crates behind them. Two soldiers came dragging a man who clung feebly to an AK-47. They approached. "He drank too much seawater." He was weasing and he plopped his AK on the table of the booth. He panted, "W-w-wuh wuh...water..." He vomited on the ground. "Take him over there!" The soldier barked, pointing to a warehouse. It had a red cross on it. The man was taken to a cot and lain down. Immediately an IV bag was attatched to him. A medic came to attend to him. "Its okay. We are not going to hurt you. You are safe now." He handed the man his canteen, and the man drank it all in one draft.

The Pelican fired a few rounds into a nearby building as 300 Orbital drop troops hop out of their dropships onto the top of the building. Colonel Hawks stands there as the rest of his commanders gather around him.
"Okay here's the plan folks!" He screams over the Pelicans engines.
" We are to hold this building complex untill allied troops can get here. I want no mistakes"
The commanders salute him and leave to tend to their troops. His second in command faces him.
"Not like home is it" he said.
" Well, welcome to Cretulas" The colonel replied.
The last pelican pulled away and dissapeared into the distance as Colonel Hawks looks across the road apon the city government center. He had picked a great spot to help, to keep the insurgents busy untill allies could get into the center of the city. He even thought about capturing the building himself, but then he looked down to the road below, it was littered with mines. No he would hold here.

A massed assault to the North-East had dealt Spinebreaker's forces an unprecedented number of casualties. Fifty infantrymen had been killed or injured when a three-hundred strong force of rebels ambushed them. In addition, the rebels had managed to overpower a tank through sheer weight of numbers, and, after blowing off the hatch, had gutted it with grenades, killing the crew. Their surge of moral was short lived, however, as many were overpowered by the deadly gas that now billowed from the tank, and the men were soon subdued with flamethrowers and heavy machingun fire from the tanks. Two hundred men surrendered, and were stripped of weapons and loaded onto trucks for detention.

The push succeeded far better elsewhere. A bank was gassed and burned out in the Eastern district, the strongroom opened with explosives and the men inside subdued. Everywhere the tanks were moving forward.

It appears we are making excellent progress, although I fear the areas of heaviest resistance have not yet been reached. Several prisoners have been taken, and we will escort them to the camp South posthaste. I ask now if our forces are needed elsewhere, or if it would be in your better interests for us to scour the suburbs of rebels to make a recapture far less likely.

1100 Golencian troops en route to Zenneth finally made it there. They fought the Rebels in the heart of the city. Several buildings were destroyed in the outskirts of the city, most were government buildings however 1 was a Catholic Church. This infuriated the Civilians who again rose up. The 500 Rebels occupying the City surrendered with only 42 men left.
12 men began to run and were shotdown by sharpshooters.

Today Zackaroth forces stormed the rebel base in the moutains of zackaroth to free the tourist. unfountruntly the only thing that was there was the dead bodies of the parents and the barelt alive child. The father had died with a knife to the back of the head and the mother died of suffaction. the boy had lost his thumb,pinky and middle finger on his left hand. He was brought to a emergencey hositable. Doctors say the boy might not make it. Also officals wish to annonce that the tape given to the officals of Golenica does not be opened because terroist have put anthrax in it. the deadley substance was found in vials. there were supposedly 12 crates. Only half of one is found. A letter on a laptop was found saying that the 12 have been given to the remaining rebels in Golenica.
Army officals have not yet confirmed if this report is true or not but there are high beliefs zackaroth terroist are in Golencia or are already on there way. mOre evdience to back this up because 2 chinhook helicopters were stolen.....

The line was swelling with parched rebels. One walked up, set down an AK-47 and was led to the canteens. "That makes 1136 AKs, 200 M-16s, 15 RPG launchers, 4 mortar cannons and a partridge in a pear tree." said the soldier manning the booth. "Cute GJ, very cute." Another walked up. "Hey where's your gun? No gun, no water. See if someone else will give you theirs." He lifted up his arms revealing several packets of SEMTEX strapped to his chest. GJ began, "Oh sweet Jes-" but was disintegrated along with four other soldiers who had the misfortune of being in the area. The others in the line scrambled forward to get to the water, not hesitating to kill anyone who got in their way. Others fired their rifles into the air or at anything that moved.
Lt. Michael O'Grady sat in the machine gun nest. "Oh sweet mother of God." He fired at the psychotic croud who now managed to destroy most of the canteens and set their sites on any uniformed man they saw. Soon, those who were loafing in the camps joined the confusion, heaving rocks either at soldiers, or rebels, or eachother. Five broke for the boxes of Aks. "Oh, shit on a stick." Grady shouted and began firing to drive the rebels away from the firearms. Soon a rock collided with his face. "Ow! We were trying to help you end this peacefully, for Godsake!" He began bleeding profusely. More rocks flew at him, then a grenade.
Sgt. Sean Jackson watched the crowds fighting below eventually took the boxes that contained the guns. "The shit has hit the fan." He shouted into his radio. "all men, pull back into the facility. Find good cover, and ready the tear gas." The crowd had now half-turned on itself. The men got onto the roof and loaded the grenade launchers with gas canisters and fired on the crowd. They all scrambled, only to encounter the returning patrol unit. After a hail of smoke grenades and flash bangs the crowd finally calmed down.
Jackson went through the tallies of the weapons--thankfully none of the AKs, M16s or RPG launchers went missing, but several grenades and pistols could not be located. The final count of the dead was:

Colonel Hawks walked calmly across the path his troops had cleared throught he mines on the road. he motioned and about a hundred soilders filed across and they took position along a low wall and aimed their weapons at the government building. It took minuets for them to get into to position.
Hawks raised a hand, then slowly lowered it.
A pelican came bolting down overhead and began to fire into the building with 20 mm cannons and missles. explosions and yelling could be heard comming to the building.
"GOGOGO!" Hawks yelled.
100 troops jumped over the wall and ran across the grounds. Several fell from bullets that came from the insurgents. The enemy jumped out from their position and ran for the door, but thier comrades shut the door behind them, leaving about 40 insurgents that fought to the death. A battering ram was brought up and the troops broke in and continued, flushing the enemy out of the building. The entire operation took a half hour.

Very well. We shall finish securing the city and reclaiming all locations of strategic import, then continue as you have requested in sweeping the city of insurgents. With respect to the first, we are well on our way to accomplishing this. Our tanks have shown exceptional resistance to the cheap handheld AT weapons of the rebels, and many are now giving themselves up rather than engage our troops. With respect to the second, I will request our troops use baton rounds to maximise the number of uprisers taken alive and minimise civilian casualties.
I cannot give you an ETA on this; we still know nothing on the number of rebels in the suburbs, although our roadblocks have seen very little fighting as of now..

Hello,
I have fully recovered from my past injuries and would like to thank you all for your support. The Rebel leader has come to my office. he signed an official surrender form. Golencian soldiers are marching into the Remaining Hostile cities and removing whats left of the rebels. We now have a long road to recovery but we thank you for your help.
By order of the Holy Republic i must now ask that you withdraw from our lands. Again thank you, a memorial for all the lost soldiers is being built in Cretulas.
