Yuri Gorgopov, Head Scientist of the Republic of Pentova Perseei, walked onto the dias and up to the podium in the middle. He took a deep breath and cleared his throat.
"Welcome comrades, to the arrival of a new era for Pentova Perseei, and a new age for man. I come to you today, as a scientist. We would like to announce a program long in the making, but sure to pay off if we follow through with it. The Eigon Program was created to enhance the human physical, and mental strengths, while eliminating weaknesses. Through Bio-Technology, we can now acheive this goal of an ultimate man, and we will. Eigon I, as he shall be called, will be a superior warrior, and the first in a line of Eigon enhanced men. We look for volunteers to become Eigon I. This will be the ultimate honor to your country. Please step forward."
