Today, we are happy to announce the developement of the Red Sea FTL negation generator.
The generator, powered by a single nuclear reactor will negate all dimensional-based FTL travel (all known types of FTL) within a range of 1 AU by creating distrubances in subspace known as the Mercury Ripple or the Rabinovich Disturbance. We will neither confirm or deny all rumours that nations like Revenia or other enemies of Allanea possess means to "key" their FTL drives to the Rabinovich Disturbance and bypass it. We are certainly looking into it, though. The Red Sea Device is going to be activated in New-Montana, for testing and experimentation purposes.
