The Commonwealth of Non Aligned States has recently announced that they have completed a new heavy armor MBT known as the M102 Dominance and will be made available for export.

The M102 Dominance MBT is manufactured by Maxwell Munitions Industries Land Systems (MMILS), run by the Commonwealth of Non Aligned States. Originally developed for the NAS military, this tank has seen several major refits to its design and is now being approved for sale to the international market.
The heaviest tank ever designed by Maxwell Industries, this armored vehicle is a technological marvel with its twin Strider hydrogen gas engines capable of generating enough power to move this 94 ton titanium alloy hulk at speeds comparable to most modern day MBTs. With its newly refitted electronic command and control system, the Dominance only requires a crew of 3 in order to function at its optimum level. An NBC overpressure protection system enables the tank to operate in a wide variety of theatres.

The primary armament of the Dominance is its double barreled 155mm MT-LGC, considered to be an efficient and accurate weapons system. The barrel is configurable for multiple settings with extended recoil absorbers and specially designed Tak-2 coils that give the gunner unprecedented control over the gun. Additionally, the MT-LGC has been integrated into the Dominance with a maximum elevation of 60 degrees, giving it limited capability as a short range mobile artillery platform for indirect fire. The weapon is capable of firing a variety of rounds including HEAT, SABOT and STAFF. The Welby-Simms ShellLoader 2000x removes the need for a loader and is able to feed the gun at maximum speed without any jamming risk whatsoever.

Bolstering its firepower is the Hurricane Air Defense Anti-Tank Missile Pod which is mounted on either side of the turret. The Hammerhead missiles fired by the pod carry a 25lb high explosive warhead and are capable of engaging both aerial and ground light armor targets.

Rounding out the arsenal of the Dominance is the commander’s gun which is a twin M61 Gatling gun mounted on a Fast Track Turret system and utilizes a separate powered traverse. The M61 20mm Vulcan is an externally powered, six-barrel, rotary-fire gun having a rate of fire of up to 7200 spm. The firing rate is selectible at 4,000 spm or 6,000 spm. The gun fires standard electrically primed 20mm ammunition. The M61 is hydraulically or ram-air driven, electrically controlled, and uses a linkless ammunition feed system. To improve its anti-air capabilities, the gun is slaved to the turret mounted SRAD Air Defense Radar, acquiring and tracking targets up to several kilometers away including missiles.

The armor of the Dominance consists of 3 separate layers. The outer layer is a thin light alloy designed as reactive armor and will blow outwards when hit, thereby reducing the threat of damage from HEAT rounds. The second layer consists of reinforced ceramic plates which is placed on top of the honey combed B-25 titanium shockplates giving the Dominance unprecedented defensive capabilities and is capable of withstanding several direct hits from a 155mm cannon before suffering an armor breach.

Manufacturers Note: Given the limited production facilities capable of producing vehicles of this calibre, large scale orders will take a significant amount to complete. We are currently in the process of acquiring new facilities but they will not be expected to be ready for production for the next 2 years.

The design team of the Dominance recognized this problem early on and prioritized a solution to it. The Hurricane missile pods are actually heavily armored to prevent enemy fire from detonating the warheads. The pictures themselves are of an early prototype and do not show the armored missile hatches which were installed into the pods, further protecting the missiles from stray fire. In addition to this, the surface on which the pods are attached to are one of the most heavily armored areas on the turret, preventing the relatively light blast from damaging the internal structure. In the event of fire in the missile racks, the pod can be jettisoned without any loss of structural integrity.

The design team had come across similar heavy armor designs before and noticed several design flaws. The goal of the Dominance tank is to provide a significantly heavier armored vehicle compared to most MBTs without significant loss of mobility, thus granting it a wider tactical range of operation.

Currently Maxwell Industries is not considering selling the production rights for the Dominance tank. However, senior executives have stated a willingness to negotiate on this issue depending on the terms of agreement.

DAI would be willing to pay $30,000,000,000 for the design plans. DAI would not sell a direct replica of your tank, we would modify it and sell it as a subdivision of our current A-2 Leviathan. Your company would receive full recognition for the design.

Also we would be willing to Take on any Large orders you may have that your facilities cannot take on due to their size. We will construct the weapons and charge 10% of the vehicles cost, simply to pay for labor and Material Expenses.

argh... we've been through this argument before in NS with my A-2, which is over 200 tons and has two 200mm Artilary grade cannons for its main weaponry. They are difficult to deploy, but the purpose of them is that once they have been deployed, you will not have to re-deploy them, or even reinforce them.

@NAS: The terms are accepted and we await spec delivery. TG them to us. Also we would like to use on or more of your pictures for our display if that is alright. We plan on selling them as a lighter A-2 Varient and make some slight ajustments, but you will receive credit for the design as we said before.

WOW!!! Sweet tank! My MBDT-12 although better in armament and armour(due to it being slightly future tech) i would say this tank is a beauty! And also, those pics are....amazing!

Would you be willing to sell me certain ideas used on this tank? I could very well do with some of those ideas you have used, such as your cheap but effective 1st armour layer. thats just a quick idea, this tank is...amazing.
