Hi, I'm new. I thought I'd just introduce myself and try and gain a few allies.

Slaytanicca wishes to congratulate you on your newfound independence/freedom from oppression/etc! We would love an exchange of embassies with your nation, so we may begin to forge diplomatic ties and trade agreements, with the possibility of a mutual defense pact of some description in the future should you desire it.

Currently, we are in dire need of medical supplies. There has been an outbreak of smallpox, most likely from terrorist seperatists in our protectorate regions. We are willing to offer large amounts of military in return for medical support.

Certainly we don't expect payment for emergency medical aid! We are currently loading an IL-76 with vaccine which will be dispatched immediately, and a recruitment drive should provide you with volunteer aid workers shortly. If there is anything else we can do we would be more than happy to oblige.
If you wish, we could allow a small military base on our soil in exchange for one on your own. Your troops will be unmolested, but any large action will be monitored. If your land varies much in climate to our own, we would very much like to construct a training facility, naturally in exchange for one of your own on our soil.

OOC: Our climate is relatively cold (though not freezing) and rainy much of the year. Much of our land is covered with rolling hills and forests, although we have an impressive mountain range to the North.

Certainly - I would be happy to allow a military base on my soil. We will provide you with all the materials you need in exchange for one on your own soil. Perhaps you could mount your medical aid operations from your base on our soil?

We will also permit your vessels to pass through our waters and you may construct an air base on our land. We have several square miles of uninhabited land that we use to train our troops. If you wish, both your troops and my troops could use the land for training and war games.

Thank you for the medical aid. Also, we will take advantage of the base you offered us in your country - will 250 troops be a small enough number for you, or would you prefer less?

OOC: My country consists of the UK, which is cold and wet most of the year, and several small protectorate states in the Middle East.

Two hundred and fifty troops is well within our limits of reasonable. A full company of Slaytaniccan troops is five hundred - would it be alright to house this many? If so, we will begin construction immediately, along with the embassy.
Your allowing our troops to use your training grounds is incredibly kind, and we will certainly accept. You are free to use ours in training troops stationed in our nation.
So far over two hundred medical staff have agreed to help your people. They have been dispatched by military transport and will be arriving shortly. anything else we can do in helping you in this epidemic will be granted to the best of our capabilities.

500 troops is well within our boundaries of acceptance as well. However, you may want to station them in the far north of our lands, as the epidemic is spreading and the far north is the only area not affected. We request that your troops help the quarantine of the area.

We would like to offer you a permanent peace pact and a mutual defense pact in return for more medical supplies and personnel.

The Empire would be glad make itself a few new allies. I can, if you would accept it, send over an ambassador as well.

OCC: My country is medium sized, with a large mountian range to the north, pine forests dominating the south, a rocky coast in the west and open plains to the east.

If you need it we could send medical supplies as well.

We gladly accept your ambassador. If you would like to establish a military base here as well, you may, but we must limit you to a maximum of 500 troops. Any medical supplies you could send would be appreciated, thank you.

We can have our troops and supplies in the air within the hour. We would allow you to construct a millitary base on our soil as well, if you wish. Our troops in your country will number only 350, and will bulid their own compound. If there is any area you would like me to build this than point it out, otherwise we will begin construction on our base on the north-western coast.

The only safe place in my country is the far north. The rest has been completely overrun by the smallpox epidemic. Unless you wish your troops to become infected, then the base should be built in the far north.

The "Far North" consists of about 12 square miles of land. The entire area has been cordoned off to stop the spread of smallpox further. We would appreciate it if your troops would help to patrol the area.

We would be glad to help patrol the area, i can dispatch a few helicopters to fly patrol routes and also have smaller, land-based patrols mounted in Humvees. Anyone found crossing the line will be contained until you decide what to do with them.

We have brought with us 400 JSLIST Chemical Protection Suits, which should protect our men from the epidemic when on patrol.

Emperor Pudu, we thank you for your assistance. If you would be willing to requisition more of your chemical protection suits (about 1000) we would be able to supply our and Slaytanicca's armies in my country with them.

The United Socialist States of Azurbajan would like to exchange embassys with you. We want also to hel with the disease control of the smallpox plague.

Six companies of five hundred troops have been mobilized, and will arrive in twelve hours. In addition we are producing smallpox vaccine at the best of our abilities; a further ton will be available by the end of the week. Our troops are being sent with enough supplies for five days, but we will pay well if you could supply our troops with food - our logistical train is perfectly capable but at present is a costly and inefficient solution.

We welcome all embassies and ambassadors as well as any help with the smallpox problem. We are currently producing as much smallpox vaccine as possible. Our navy has been mobilised with orders to stop all boats leaving or coming into our country, in order to stop the spread of disease internationally. They have orders to shoot to sink any craft which refuses to stop.

Any naval or air help you can give would be appreciated.

Our nation has great supplies of of these suits just sitting around, and we would be happy to supply our allies with a little protection. The first 1000 suits are free, any more will have to be paid for. Place your order and we can send them over on the next transposrt.

A carrier and escort have been dispatched to help you with this problem. May I suggest blocking ports with soldiers as a more humane solution than holing ships? We are willing to send more troops, and tanks, if necessary. I realise this is a selfless action on your part and that some small craft will inevitably slip the net, but we abhor loss of sentient life, even that of such a sacrificial nature.
Grave reports have come from your nation. We had no idea the situation was so dire. We are stepping up our production of vaccine, and a further five hundred medical personnel will be departing shortly.

Emperor Pudu, we are willing to pay for a further 3000 of these suits for our medical personnel and police forces to keep peace. Name your price, we will pay any reasonable costs.

Slaytanicca, I am afraid that I cannot enforce your suggestion. We must do what we can to stop the virus spreading into other countries. Warning beacons have been deployed around our control area, warning all vessels that they enter our waters at their own risk. The beacons transmit the following message in all languages:

"To any vessels entering or exiting Makaarian waters. This is a quarantine zone. No vessel may enter or exit the area. Be aware that you cross this region at your own risk and you may be fired upon without warning."

We have also used the Conscription Act of 1914 to sieze civilian ships and refit them for medical use. Currently, 200 ships of our merchant navy have been quickly upgraded to serve as transports and medical ships. We have also impounded all aircraft and they are being used to carry supplies and people around the country. Both of these are being manned by our militia forces.

We are sending over two of our OPARR units to help blockade the ports and patrol the coasts. We wont land all of the Marines in the fleet, to respect your nation, but we will be sending patrols of five Humvees up and down your coast, and sometimes farther inland. Unless you request it, the we will keep our soilders on their ships. The Apaches and the Tomcats can patrol the airspace over the country and protect my fleets. Another transport of Medical Supplies and personel is inbound, and a Pastur class hospital ship is moored of shore of all the major ports.

Note: each ORARR unit is made up of:

4 Triara Light Cruisers
6 Switsure Destroyers
5 Lionfish Missile Frigates
1 Nelson Light Carrier

The Fleets can also carry 520 Marines, 10 Super Stalion Transport Helicopters, 26 Apache Helicopters, 40 F-14D Ultra Tomcat Fighters, and 46 Humvees.

You can have 3000 of the suits for the price of 4 million dollars. I inform you that this is a discount price and we payed much more to produce these suits. Normally the price would be higher, but i see these are trying times and you need all of these you can get yor hands on.

We will pay you the actual price once the crisis is over. We thank you for your genorosity and gladly accept the protection suits. Your 4 million dollars is being transferred in a high-security truck to your military base on my land. You may carry it from there to your nation.

An Apache patrol flying over the northern part of the island caught four citizens trying to sneak over the line and into our instalation, we have detained them and are preparing to send them out to one of our Hospital Ships. A team of medical personel onboard on of the Apaches has declared that NONE of the four citizens had smallpox. They comment "We just wanted to get away from it all! People dying in their homes, in the streets, Its horrible!" We will hold them ofshore of our base until you either come to get them, or give us instruction to detain them furhter.

Emperor Pudu, transfer these people to our hospital facility. We must make sure they do not re-enter the southern section of the country.

Siap, any help you can offer is accepted. We are shipping out an ambassador to your country. We will also accept ONE military base of any division on our soil, with a maximum of 500 personnel and no heavy artillery.

We will begin transfer immidiatly. The transport plane with the Chemical Suits has just arrived and touched down on one of our carriers. A small transport boat will take them to where ever you need them.

HM Parliament thanks your efforts. The epidemic is calming in southern regions. The smallpox cure has been effectively implemented there. The north, except for the Far Northern region, is still in danger.

Our relief workers are being deployed to your region via transport plane. We are also sending medical supplies to help. We have just perfected a dead virus vaccine and it is being sent with the relief workers.

Unfortunately, the Strait of Gibraltar has been closed by Chellis. My protectorates in the Middle East have several medical factories and are trying to get a large shipment of the cure through to us. However, they cannot while Chellis has closed the Strait.

We are officily requesting the transfer of OPARR Units 3-6 to the nation of Makaar and Battlegroup C to be sent out to assist them.

War is on the horizon and our new allies have asked us for aid. The smallpox epidemic is continuing and the only way to finish it is to get the cure from the Makaar Protectorates. The pass that is requireed to transfer the cure is being blockaded. This needs to be stopped.

Any contribution you can make, with the mission of bringing the war to a quick and successful end, would be greatly appreciated.

We appreciate such action is meant with the best intentions, and realise there is no alternative, whether we like it or not. Our fleet will carry out your orders to ensure this plague does not spread further than we can possibly allow.
Our fleet is in your waters now, and its airwing will begin supporting your own in patrolling the waters. In addition, our IL-76s have been hastily sprayed with medical symbols and are ready to assist in vaccine distribution / medevac roles. We will send smaller craft to replace these ASAP.
Our troops are reporting progress in containment at least. We hope they are of use. If the situation in your hospitals becomes unmanageable, some of the more healthy patients may be shipped to Slaytanicca for treatment; our strong, nationalised healthcare system compensates for disasters such as this. For the moment, the five hundred civilian doctors and nurses and the ten tonnes of vaccine have successfully arrived, and we are preparing to send more.

OOC: Our ships certainly will NOT fire on non-aggressive craft (although we will order them to). At the most, they'll attempt to board them, then probably, loons that they are, spread the pox through half the fleet. Could make for a nice RP. Up to you dude.

IC: Slaytanicca, I have managed (or tried my hardest) to settle this through diplomatic means. A peace conference will be held with Chellis to negotiate passage through the waters, and I have already entered my convoy. As long as they stay out of Chelis' way, I am sure they won't be shot, but the convoy is civilian and therefore NOT ARMED AT ALL. They don't even have escorts. I turned back my military to make my actions seem less agressive.

Would you do me the honour of being there? I would appreciate. In fact, all nations who offered military aid to me, you can all be there.

Slaytanicca and Emperor Pudu, you can both increase the amount of men in your bases. I'm lifting the quarantine for your men into the far north, but they will still have to obey the quarantine into the south.

We will do our utmost to assist. Elements of the 2nd fleet will be dispatched immediately to dissuade Chellis from taking aggressive action. We fear, however, that a war with Chellis would spell doom to our governments and bring tragedy on our people. With this in mind, we shall endeavour to find a friendly port either side of the strait. The supplies can be airlifted between if necessary, and at this time we can spare the planes.
We will help you to the best of our abilities. But we cannot win a war with Chellis.

The Aubainian Kingdom has been divided, and now is the Aubain Nationalist Kingdom, and the Aubainian Socialist Republic. The Nationlists have less soldiers, and will gladly practice with you, so both of our troops can be trained, and become more powerful.

I would indeed be interested in a mutual defence pact, however, my nation is located on the other side of the world, this could be a problem.

As you have allowed my nation to station more soilders in your country i will be stationing one OPARR unit in my base, in addition to the garrison, which will be dropped down to 300 men.

I am, if you are still interested, willing to preform in some war games. My military has seen very little real combat, despite heavy training.

Brazil and Makaar have gone to war - Brazil has invaded Uruguay, and I intend to stop them. I do not expect you to take part in the conflict, but those ports could certainly come in handy. Also, I will be constructing an embassy in your capitol city.
