Radar
Sampson is a multi-function radar which is destined for the Type 45 destroyer. It brings together the roles of surveillance and tracking into one single system, with sophisticated anti-jamming arrangement. The two array faces of the radar sit back to back in an A-frame structure that rotates up to 30rpm.

PAAMS
The main armament of the class will be the sophisticated and lethal Principal Anti Air Missile System (PAAMS). PAAMS will equip the Type 48 to defend itself and other ships in company from attack by existing and future anti-ship missiles of all types. The Type 45 will also be able to operate close inshore and use PAAMS to give air cover to Hogsweatian Forces engaged in the land battle. The system is designed to defend against supersonic, stealthy, highly manoeuvrable missiles that could use sea-skimming or steep-diving flight profiles approaching in salvoes, simultaneously from several directions.

PAAMS is capable of controlling several missiles in the air at any one time, each one of which could engage individual targets, preventing attackers from swamping the fleet's air defences. MOPD oversight of the three-nation PAAMS project is provided by Type 45 Anti Air Warfare Destroyer project team members working at the joint PAAMS Project Office in Kurzk, from where the programme is administered

The Type 44 Frigate

DESCRIPTION AND WEAPONS SYSTEMS

The Type 44 is the replacement for the Royal Navy's Type 42 Destroyer - as the primary anti-air and missile vessel for the fleet. It has two new systems, both missile systems using Enhanced Stinger missiles and the Exocet missile. They will both be explained later. Recently the Royal Navy struck a deal with Imperial Praetonian Shipyards to use their latest multi-layered trimaran armour plating for our vessels. The first test prototype for this is the Type 44, and it has exceeded our testing well. We hope the type gives you many years of good service.

The most interesting part of the Type 44 are its new weapons systems - and we will now go on to explain them. The first is the GAAMLS;
GAAMLS
~-~-~- Guided Anti-Air Missile Launch System - The GAAMLS can be found on the fore and the aft of the ship - the blue strip on the top denotes naval hardware. Each GAAMLS holds six enhanced Stinger Mk2 RN-B missiles - essentially Stinger missiles with a smaller payload, more fuel and a bigger engine. When firing, the top of the GAAMLS lifts up, and the top two missiles (side-by-side- stacked) are latched onto the top. After the `lid` of the GAAMLS is fully lifted, which takes about two seconds, there is a delay of a further second to initiate guidance systems - after that the missiles are immediately launched. It takes another three seconds for the next missiles to be pushed into position, and then the `lid` has to close before it opens to fire again. There is storage for sixty eight of said missiles. The GAAMLS can hold most western missiles, and some of the more popular ex-soviet missiles with a bit of modification. The guidance system for the fore GAAMLS is located on the far left mast, and the aft GAAMLS the far aft mast. It is also controllable manually by the ops room.

The next is an anti-surface/shipping weapon known as the ASEMSS
ASEMSS
~-~-~- Anti Surface/Shipping Exocet Missile Strike System - the ASEMSS is located on the aft behind the aft GAAMLS. The ASEMSS is essentially a naval based - (hence the blue strip on the front) MRLS. It holds up to sixteen Enhanced Exocet missiles at a time, however the draw back is that they have to be reloaded manually. The Enhanced Exocets pack a larger payload and more fuel. The ASEMSS works in tandem with huge and sophisticated radar guidance system (RDS) that allows it to guide each missile individually, going with the Royal Navy's ideal of STF (Strategic Targets First) or to guidance and gunning officers, Stuff. If that guidance system is disabled they can be fired from the ops room, although the whole system will home in on a single point, losing its ability to control each missile.

The Warspite Battleship
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v224/HogsweatNS/WARSPITE.bmp

"Warsprite" Is the first Battlecruiser launched in the history of the Hogsweatian Royal Navy. It has two sister ships, the "Warsight" and "Bitter".
Warsprite will be finished early next autumn, and in five years Warsight is to follow, then in another four Bitter.
Firstly, some general specifications for you to go by. As a note, Warspite, Warsight, and Bitter are all of the "Warsprite" Class. Please not that as only space has been provided for half the sailors on board, it is Hogsweatian Naval Policy to only abandon ship if the ship is so severely damaged that that many sailors are dead anyway. It is possible for more to be fitted.

Note: It is highly advised you support Warspite Class Battlecruisers with sufficient air support and small craft support

The Warspite class is one of the only class of Battlecruisers today that still operates using a funnel - this is because Hogsweat does not rely on nuclear-powered engines for most ships.
Note: Respected purchasers reserve the right to modify the ships design to be fitted with a nuclear engine. Construction rights buyers also reserve the right to do the former
