Yasiliv Bogonov held tightly to his teloscopic rifle as he looked down from the apartment building in Tomzilla City. Soon, Shogun Tomzilla the First would be riding through in a public appearence. Sure enough, he heard the sound of car engines approaching slowly. Yasiliv was going to give the Shogun a little gift for outlawing the Communist Party. Now, thousands of Communists were waiting for Yasiliv to carry out his mission and begin a revoultion against the government. Yasiliv knew, however, that if he failed to kill the Shogun, the revoultion would never happen. Yasiliv finally saw the Shogun in view. He saw the chance, took aim, and fired.
"This is Kiro Hatsuy of Tomzilla National News Network. We are seeing Shogun Tomzilla the First coming towards are way in his open-air motorcade right now. Now we have a good view of the Sho-"
At that moment a gunshot rings out. Camera pans to Shogun as a spray of blood comes out from his shoulder, as the entire nation watches. A second gunshot rings out, this time hitting the bullet-proof car. Guards start firing at the area where the shots came from. Camera swings to face the building the guards are firing at. The camera gets the building just in time to see a figure fall over the building, seemingly holding a rifle. The car holding the Shogun speeds off towards the close by Royal Tomzilla Hospital.
A few hours later, the people of Tomzilla watch the TV closly for the news. Finally the news starts. Scenes show the shooting as a voice is heard.
"This is the scene a few hours a go in an assassination attempt on the Shogun. We are going live to Kiro Hatsuy, who was at the shooting and is now outside Royal Tomzilla Hospital. Hello Hatsuy."
"Hello. This is Kiro Hatsuy. I am standing outside Royal Tomzilla Hospital. Right now we have recieved word that the Shogun is in an okay condition. It appears that he was shot in the hand and the bullet passed through the hand and hit him below the shoulder and luclily, just above the lung. We have also gotten word that the police have identified the would-be assassain as Yasiliv Bogonov, a member of the recently outlawed Communist Party. We will keep you updated as the news develops."
The people of Tomzilla continued to watch the news as more updates came in.
