Abyss Class Destroyer

The Abyss is a late 20th Century Design, Though getting older it is still VERY effective as New Ocea's Premier Anti-Ship/Anti-Sub Destroyer. Though its Aegis systems make it just as effective against air targets that is not its primary role. One more innovation is Advanced Construction, automatic sealing bulkheads, Armor protection of critical systems. This is illustrated when the NOS Dark Coral was hit with an air launched Exoset Missile in a border skirmish with Yuktibanian forces. A total of 11 Air launched anti ship missiles were launched at it, All but one were intercepted by the ship.
The Missile his on the Starboard side just below the water line creating a hole that destroyed Three of the Gas Turbine engines, Killed 30 Sailors and very well would of sank lesser destroyers.

Did you fire at a static or a moving target? The destroyer we fired upon was very old (60 years +) and static. Our weapons-experts have analyzed the problem, and believe that a little modification of the software might help.
