OOC: Myself and ViZion talked about this.

Due to the recent strain in relations between the NWO and NATO, it has been proposed that some sort of cooperation be created, to stop any war from happening. It has been suggested that some sort of trade begin between members of each alliance, the exchange of embassies, and further diplomatic conferences between members. It has also been suggested that a Main Conference be planned for the higher members of each alliance, to discuss different ways to cooperate. If we can all work together for a common cause, nothing can stop this united front. The Congressional Board, the International Consortium Court, and the Founders of the NATO alliance are suggested to attend this conference, as well as the higher leaders of the New World Order. It is also safe to say that another similar conference should be held for all those who aren’t part of the leadership in their respective alliance. (OOC: If we held a massive conference with everyone in it, it would just be way too cluttered, and nothing would get accomplished.)
Therefore, both conferences can work together to come up with certain ways to increase activity between NATO and NWO (damn Microsoft Word, changing it to NOW to be grammatically correct), thereby achieving some sort of peace between the two.

It is suggested that one conference be held in a NWO nation, and the other be held in a NATO nation, or even both conferences be held in a nation within both alliances...... *cough*....

King Michael I would be more than happy to host the NWO/NATO conference in our country, since our past affiliation with NATO means we are on friendly terms with a few of its members, and our current NWO membership qualifies us for a presence at the conference, even if only as a mediator between the two alliances should things get somewhat heated.

ViZion and Euroslavia are happy to see there is support from both NWO and NATO to this.

Why don't you do what the Norse gods did? According to North mythology, the Aesir and Vanir made peace between themselves by exchanging hostages. You could do the same by exchanging some VIPs. That way, if either side got out of line, the hostage forfeits his life.

As the President of NWO i must Agree some sort of Conference needs to be Held Between the Two Alliances. This is in the Interest of World Peace and Security, as we have Seen Lately because of theses two Alliances Size and Reputation within Nation States itself we have been distended to lock Horns since NWO came about.

At This Stage however i would like to make it Clear that NWO has agreed to nothing, However we will agree to Attend theses Meetings where things can be Discussed.

I don't see a war/conflict coming up anytime soon, however, it would work to everyones advantage if we worked together in world conflicts. It is unfortunate that you don't see this as important...

Neither of us are afraid to combat each other, however, a war between the two would not only be devastating to both alliances, it would leave an impact on the world.

If the NWO, NATO, and Jarridia agree, than it'll be in Jarridia. Another suggestion: Macisikan in the Pacific (believe he said he's in Pacific... either way, he's not in Europe or Africa...)

IDF loves this policy and will gladly exchange embassies with any NWO member. We will also extend an invitation that will remain open indefinitly for any Head of State of an NWO nation to travel to IDF and meet President Williams. A state dinner will be held in your honor.

With NATO treatment to the Macabees lately, and vice versa (not to be biased), we stand with Chellis and boycott the meeting; however, we do support peace (OOC: I just dont have the time to look over the entire meeting once it gets started). Like Chellis, we see nothing to discuss.

President Sutton will send a representative of the Credonian government to Jarridia to attend the NWO/NATO conference.

OOC: While I'd like to hold the conference in Granzi, I don't have the time to commit myself to a conference unfortunately. I support ViZion's bid to host the second meeting, and wish all the participants well. Thanks for thinking of me, Euro. ;)

Vastiva will be attending the second meeting, wherever it is, and we ask for general tourist privledges.

We will also agree to an exchange of embassies with members of the NWO.

ViZion looks to improve its stance. We would like to open our nation up to NATO embassies.
