As the car pulled away from the large gray castle Jenevee could hardly hide the excitement of the day. This was the first full day she would officially be known as the Queen of Camel Eaters. With Linfield at her side the ease of transition from a College Student to a Royal should be easy she thought, but the anxiety still lingered in the back of her mind.

The car gripped the curves of the hillside as it sped away from the castle at an alarming speed.

Jenevee turned to Linfield and said, "My dear Linfield were are we to go first? I am anxious to know"

Waiting for Linfields response, Jenevee leaned forward to ask the driver to slow down a bit because of the sick feeling beginning to develop in her stomach.

"I think we should start from the beginning. To Dal Hern the town I was born in. It's only accessible by camel over a nice rough trail." Linfiled smileda t his new bride and began to wonder what the future had in store.

At the airport they were given a choice. "Linfield would you like a plane or giant bats?" The flight manageress asked. Linfield jsut turned to Jenevee and shrugged.

A super-sonic jet carrying Ludo Hienkel landed very roughly in the desert near the new couple; Ludo was piloting.

Ludo yelling through the noise of the engines: "SORRY I'M LATE! THE NATION OF THE GREAT SIXTH REICH SENDS IT'S CONGRATULATIONS, AND OFFERS A TRUCK LOAD OF GEMERAN BEER FOR THE NEW COUPLE! HAVE FUN, BUT REMEMBER OTTO VON HIENKEL ROMMEL'S HONEYMOON ENDED UP WITH THREATS OF NUCLEAR WAR! HAVE A GOOD TIME"

Ludo got back in the jet and blasted off back to Germany!

Linfield had the plane downed so he could speak properly. He thanked Ludo and had him refueled before being sent back up.

"Well I have ridden alot of things in my life time" Jenevee winks at Linfield, "but I have never been on a Bat. Lets take the bat ride Linfield" she says as the managress bowed to the apparent wishes of the couple.

...On the bat...............

"So Linfield tell me about Dal Hern" she says while holding tightly around his waist.

"Dal Hern is a small valley framed on all sides by mountains. A river runs through the center of it and the people speak of life like I speak of you." The bat banked towards the ground its wings spread wide. It picked up a rabbit and continued upwards and onwards to Dal Hern.

Jenevee looked to her left and she could see the Valley Linfield had described the lush fields reached for the heavens from the river basin down below. A small keep could be seen in the center of the village.

The bat made a hard right then left and startled Jenevee. It just made her squeeze Linfield that much harder.

As the bat circled the town looking for a field to land in, the village people began to emerge from the small huts and shacks located around the valley floor.

The bat slid to a stop on a nice sand bar allowing the two to disembark from its back.

On a post next to the bank a sign read, "Welcome to Dal Hern, glad you came!"

A huge grey haired woman with mud and blue panit on her face came up and looked at Linfield she said something in a rapid fire half language that sounded a little like this. "Hootee ma Linfield?"

Although Jenevee didn't understand Linfield just smield ruefully and said "Kinnywaihoo me darla Jenevee." At this the woman made a sound similar to laughter and hugged Jenevee as hard as she could.

The affection this woman was displaying touched Jenevee. She thought to herself, "I don't even know this women, yet she feels the need to offer a hug, truely a sweet jesture" Jenevee hugs the woman back with equal eagerness. After the greeting she steps up onto the river bank next to Linfield to see a large group of villagers heading towards them at a very fast pace.

Jenevee quietly awaits for Linfield to address the crowd.

He leans over and whispers inot her ear. "My mother seems to like you." Before he turned and began shaking hands with the people of the crowd. Graciously declining cigars from the men and accepting some of the alcohol though.

Hum, I wonder what language this is? Jenevee thinks to herself. Before she could ask Linfield any more questions, his mother had her by the arm carrying her down the well-worn path towards the middle of the village.

Linfield was occupied with the other villagers and didn't see this so Jenevee called out to him, "Linfield where is your mother taking me?"

"Probably to her house. Where we'll be staying near." Linfield said pushing his way through the crowd. He managed to catch up with them and walked with his mother and his wife.

Jenevee was led to a warm cozy house painted bright yellow. The flower boxes under each window where full of seasonal delights. Inside Linfields mother motioned for Jenevee to set in the large chair next to the fireplace. Over the roaring fire a large guilded picture frame hung with a portrait of Linfield in a very official looking pose.

As Jenevee gazed at the picture, Mrs. Hannon brought her a hot cup of tea. Mrs. Hannon said something but Jenevee didn't understand and politely nodded.

As she sipped her tea Mrs. Hannon brought her a large weathered leather clad book. Jenevee quickly saw it was a photo album and opened it to look at the pictures.

All the brothers where there Linfield mostly, but the others where present.
Just then the back door of the cottage opened up and a bent over old man with a cane hobbled into the room.

Linfield helped the old man to a chair and began tlaking ot him softly in a clicking language. He responded and Linfield and his mother laughed. Linfield turned and said. "This is my uncle Euphestas Lutch. He's been on this earth for over a two hundred years and just told me he'd never thought a Hannon boy would marry."

Jenevee stood up and walked over to Uncle Ephestas and gingerly shook his hand and gave him a small kiss on the top of the head.

She then asked Linfield, "why are more pictures of you in the album than any of your brothers."

He paused looking at the ground before continuining. "Most of them are dead. Except for Garfunk he's the only survivor besides myself." He picked up the album and showed her different pictures.

One was of a proud young man in knee length boots. "Padraig. Who died in a jump eight miles above the surface of the earth in the war." A young boy about eight with a spear held in front of him doing his best to look firece. "Daniel polio got him before he was nine." A twelve year old boy with shoulder long hair and cropped ears. "Yern murderer at a gay pride rally." Linfield gently put the book down and a tear welled up in his eye.

He led her outside and walked about thirty feet before stopping in front of a well constructed stone home with a small dock that sat comfortably on the water.

"Behold our home once I decide to give up being king. A garden a pen for sheep two bedrooms and electricity. We shall stay here while we're in Dal Hern. Then after a week or so we continue our tour. Of your new home."

A week passed and Jenevee was anxious to travel so she asked Linfield while they were eating breakfast, "where are we off to next Linfeild?"

He looked at her sand said. "Just give it one or two more days. I have something special planned." He then passed the eggs.

"Okay" and Jenevee started to eat her grits along with the bacon, ham, eggs, and biscuits Linfield had prepared for them to eat.

Linfield smiled as he heard the people call for them. At Jenevee's confusion he simply said. "It's a surprise." He led her outside to the waiting Hawdawg forces.

Both Jenevee and Linfield were given a horse and Linfield mounted his with ease and looked down at his wife. "We go to war." At this he raised his sword into the air as the people of Dal Hern cheered with the soldiers.

Jenevee walked over to Linfield's horse, stuck her foot in the stirrup and lifted herself up to kiss Linfield before he departed. Jenevee waved and shook hands with all the Hawdawgian troops anxiously as the filed past. She watched Linfield lead the long column of troops over the rise and wondered if she would ever see him again.

Linfield stopped and began waving the Hawdawg forces forward before sweeping round and riding to his wife as hard as he could. Sweeping her onto his horse he whispered in her ear. "You're my wife. I'm not supposed to able to live without you and I'm not sure I can." He rode onwards with his Jenevee in the saddle as well.
