OOC note to Safehaven: I'll get a fleet make up put on tommorrow. My fleet is large as I am a Naval power and OMP member. Most of my ships are custom builds and stats can be found on my shipyard thread (link in sig)

They will be holding 150 miles off Tripoli at a 25 degree bearing from said city. I'm not moving them by yet.

So they are currently west off Crete? Im sorry, I know were tripoli is but I dont know how to graph 25 degrees.

OOC: Well, if he means 25 degrees latitude, that would put him in southern Egypt..which last time I checked was a desert..so it can't mean that.... and I don't think he has his fleet there just yet.... I think he means that by tomorrow it will be positioned there.

exactly, I should've clariffied that. My fleet will end up holding there and in most cases won't even move West of there. I'm just plopping them in the Eastern to Central Med. They won't be there for a little while. They are currently leaving Suez and aren't running as fast as they can as I'm taking my time to decide what to do, I may just turn the ships around in the end before they get to their current waypoint. (I'm still debating that right now, I can tell you that I'm not contemplating a 1st strike at this time and am merely debating on where I can put them in a position to be ready while not getting in a shooting war.)

I'll change my waypoint to 75 miles West of Crete. That will give me room to breathe and the ability to pull back to Israel if neccesary.

IDF will keep the fleet 50 miles off our own coast for the next 48 hours. About half of the ships will head back to HLF. They will remain there for 2 months. During that time the other half will go into port for crew R&R along with upkeep for the ships.

After 2 months the other half will go in for a 3 month period while the ready fleet goest to HLF. We will work a 3 on 3 off schedule until the situation in HLF settles out or an emergency occurs. We've been managing the blockade during this time with some smaller de Gaulle CVNs and Chicago class FFGs. Of course the SSKs are also there as they would never be able to keep up with the fleet moving to the Med.
