An earlier thread of mine has somehow disappeared, so I will ask these questions again the hopes of answers.

What do NATO and NWO stand for (as in global political bloc standing)? I seek to understand the political relationships.

Neither want the Caldaron Soviet Union as a member so, I would say both are...regrettable :P

I think Shalrirorchia wants more to know what it is that the NWO and NATO champion as collective goals and outlooks, rather than the meanings of the acronyms.

Which is actually something I would like to know my own self. What the heck ARE y'all for/against?

NATO and NWO, as far as I can work out, both stand for furthering the goals of their members. They dont really stand for anything much...

I'm not particularly taking a shine ICly to the NWO, since they seem to be interested in expanding their power at the cost of others. That is something Shalrirorchia has consistently resisted.

NATO - it should be pointed out - has been accused of everything from baby poaching to landgrabbing.

However, twenty minutes in the stacks will prove NATO has never performed a single offensive action as a first strike on any nation.

In short, NATO doesn't beat up on others, unless they beat on NATO first.

OOC: I would advise you to stay out of both to be honest. There's a large chance that there'll be massive alliance-on-alliance wars, whereas right now you're fairly unknown and with unknown affliations, and so are probably safe.

NATO gets accused of many untrue things, but to be quite honest somethings are blatently true :) like the AMF baby kidnapping scandal (I always wondered where his super soldiers came from ;) ).
