-Armored Mechanized Division version shown-

The MMPWV is the world standard in light military trucks. It is lightweight, high performance, four wheel drive, air transportable & droppable, land mobility system. The family includes utility/cargo, shelter carrier, armament carrier, ambulance, ATGM missile carrier and scout-reconnaissance configuration. The vehicle is capable of a payload exceeding 6000lbs. A basic armor package is standard on the Armament and ATGM missile carrier models. Special supplemental armor versions have been developed for ARSB requirements; unique model numbers designate these configurations.

[/b]Primary function:[/b] The MMPWV provides a variety of wheeled vehicle platforms. These are cargo/troop carrier, armament carrier, ATGM missile system carrier, shelter carrier and two ambulance variants (2- and 4-litter).

Design
The design of the MMPWV NV-05 was created with numerous survivability and crew safety ideas in mind. One of the first and foremost is the wheel-base. It was designed as far as part as possible and as far from the crew as possible so that in the event a wheel detonates an anti-tank/personnel mine, the explosion is vented upwards, leaving the crew cabin undamaged. The rear portion of the vehicle is sacrificial and separates from the cabin in the event of a mine detonation near the rear wheel. A curved underbody skid plate aids in reducing injury to the crew in the event of a mine detonation. Also to aide in protection of the cabin is the high wheel-base which helps dissipate any blast. The curved skid plate is composed of a three-layer sandwich structure which collapses on a mine’s detonation, absorbing most of the energy and venting it ‘away’.

Internal features of the cabin further reduce residual and secondary mine explosion effects on the crew. The two seats in front are adjustable anti-mine/armored seats and there are three foldable anti-mine/armored rear seats. The seats are suspended on an air-ride type suspension meaning the shockwave is not directly transmitted to the crew.
The cabin is heated, air conditioned, contains a de-humidifier and humidifier, a high-resistance roll-cage and strengthened seat belts, bulletproof windshields, and a removable rear box portion.

Armor

Primary armor is a thin layer of steel with subsequent alloys and ceramics/dense plastic capable of denying small arms fire. Ceramic and steel plates as well as Kevlar patches can easily be added on.

Armament

VERSIONS

M-051: The M-051 is the basic troop carrier version of the NV-05 MMPWV. It can carry 2 operators and up to 6 soldiers (seated in the rear portion and rear cargo portion) or up to 6000 lbs. of cargo. This version has mounts located about midway on the main body for a machine gun or ATGM launcher. This version is outfitted with basic armor although plates can be added at designated areas for more protection. Comes in hard body (roof, hard doors) or soft body (soft doors and a removable canvas roof).

M-053: The M-053 is a dedicated troop/cargo hauler. It can haul up to 6000 lbs of cargo or 9 soldiers. The rear portion is outfitted with a cargo-type box with steel tubing supporting a canvas cover. Rear portion has seating, ammunition racks, and tie downs for cargo. To support this extra weight the M-033 has a reinforced frame with added crossmembers.

M-055: This is the designated armament carrier version of the NV-05 MMPWV. It can be soft or hard bodied with a hatch located on the roof to the rear and middle of the roof. The hatch is outfitted with a pivot able to mount a 7.62mm machine gun, .50 caliber machine gun, or an ATGM launcher.

M-057: This is the heavier armament carrier version of the NV-05 MMPWV. Its all hard-body with enhanced armor and reinforced crossmembers with a hatch located on the roof to the rear and middle of the roof. The hatch is outfitted with a pivot able to mount a 7.62mm machine gun, .50 caliber machine gun, or an ATGM launcher.

M-061: This version of the NV-05 MMPWV is a medical evacuation unit. It has two versions the M-061A (With only an extension added to the rear to make it larger for two litter patients and six ambulatory patients as well as medical equipment) and the M-061B2 (with an addittion that covers the entire rear and onto the roof of the M-04, can hold 4 litter patients and 8 ambulatory patients as well as a medic and medical equipment).

M-067: This version of the NV-05 MMPWV is the scout platoon's version, its outfitted with enhanced armor covering the sides, front, and bottom of the vehicle to protect against small arms and mines. It's all hard-body with a hatch located on the roof to the rear and middle of the roof. The hatch is outfitted with a pivot able to mount a 7.62mm machine gun, .50 caliber machine gun, or an ATGM launcher.

M-069: This version is the mechanized warfare variant, designed especially to move with mechanized divisions. Its armored, enhanced frame provides optimal defence to the vehicle and crew while providing flexibility and strength for the harsh climate and workload of a mechanized division vehicle. Its armament is the Dat’ Pizdy designed VMG-560D automated defense turret, a fully-functionable turret that can be outfitted with either a 12.7mm or two 7.62mm armaments as well as an ATGM/MANPAD launching unit. The system is outfitted with a low-light, infrared, and optical sensor array to locate and engage targets. It can fire automatically or under control of an operator in the vehicle who controls the turret using a bank of four monitors and a joystick. The unit is capable of housing up to 500 rounds of 7.62mm ammunition or 300 rounds of 12.7mm rounds and a flexible reloading system leads to an internal storage of up to 500 rounds of either type. Despite the turret, it still maintains a hatch capable of supporting a single machine gun.

*Note- Not all versions look like the armored one, as some don't have roofs, don't have doors, etc.

The Omzian Army and Navy Marine Corps, having for a long time searched for a new utility vehicle to replace the horribly outdated and combat-ineffective HMMWV utility vehicles within the Omzian Army and the naval infantry forces, has extensively reviewed Soviet Bloc's alternative as a complete replacement for the HMMWV, and as a complement for the upgraded Dingo and Protector utility vehicles in service within the Omzian army. Seeking a new, "universal" vehicle with adequate armor with the capability to function in several different roles, and to act as a complement for tracked and wheeled APCs, the Omzian OHDF and the Omzian Ministry of National Defence expresses their strong interest in procuring such type of vehicle. Although the Omzian Republic has a strong automobile manufacturing industry, we are still looking for such replacement, and this Soviet Bloc-designed vehicle meets our requirement adequately in virtually every aspect.

However, we must address our concern of buying them separately in units. As the Omzian Army, Air Force, Navy, naval infantry, and the reserve services has hundreds of thousands of HMMWVs in service that are need of replacement, we would like to inquire if it is possible for both the Omzian Ministry of National Defence and the state arms contractor/automobile manufacturer line Dalmez to negotiate a possible domestic production contract for this vehicle, as we are willing to pay for this needed replacement in both terms of technology and resources (including money and raw materials). Under this possible contract, it is expected that with a special domestic production contract would allow us to build a total of 28,300 vehicles to relief the vital forces within the Omzian Army, along with even more vehicles that are needed fro a complete replacement of the HMMWV over a four to six years period.

As we hope that our Soviet Bloc counterparts could hear our concern and consider our request, we eagerly await for a reply.

The Omzian request for limited domestic (in our case, foreign) production contract has been granted. Materials, designs, and equipment (if needed) will be provided. In addition to the stated 28,300 units to be built at Omzian factories, we can build as many additional units as possible. We will attempt to make the transition fast, easy, and as smooth as possible.

Dat' Pizdy Arms Corporation as well as the ARSB Government thank the Omzian Democratic Republic for its continued purchases from our nation. Discounts will be given as soon as the details are hammered out.

Once again, thank you...

The Omzian counterparts are satisfied that such deal has gotten through, and we are hoping for the manufacturing to be completed within a few years through the use of large-scale military automobile manufacture lines and factories, in addition, if needed, purchases from Soviet Bloc contractors and factories.

As we inquire about the exact cost or additional requests by the Soviet Bloc amrs contractors and the government, in order to finalize the deal and have the money get through, we are willing to pay in various forms.

The total price for the 28,300 MMPWV NV-05 vehicles is $1,273,500,000. However, the total is dropped down to $1,082,475,000 due to a 15% discount for being built using a limited foriegn production rights license. Further, due to your status as an ally the final total will be dropped a further $162,371,250 (15% Ally-Foriegn Production Discount) to a sub-total of $920,103,750 USD.

So far, the quota for NV-05s produced for the ARSB military has been reached (2600 units as the beginning batch to phase out the 45840 MMPWV M-04 vehicles), and many of the Dat' Pizdy Light Vehicle Division's factories are open to producing units for foreign contracts. We can produce as many as 12,500 per year using dedicated military production points. If the need arises we can produce as many as 100,000 per year at the numerous civilian automakers' factories that receive government incentives for allowing their factories to be used in emergencies to produce equipment for the military. Therefore, any amount of extra vehicles you need we can provide. Additional costs will be added to the above sub-total. Only a 10% general discount will be given on domestically produced vehicles for your ally status (10% Ally-Domestic Production Discount).

Any payment plan will be accepted, however we prefer that the payment plan be composed of ten or less payments ($92 million USD per payment at current production levels [28300]).

We await your reply,

As we accept the terms and is willing to pay the monetary funds in ten installments of $92 million USD each over a period of 2 months, and is grateful for the discount offered to us, as we are willing to comply with the limited domestic production license for the production for the first batches of the MMPWV system to relieve Omzian military forces, and we are willing to seek further extension of the licenses if necessary, to completely replace HMMWV systems, although we are also considering the option to purchase vehicles directly from the contractor Dat' Pizdy.

As we are satisfied that we are able to do business again, we are sure that with this, cooperations between two nations will increase, as we will be eager to equip our frontline units with these excellent systems.

The LRR state armories would like to purchase 250 of these vehicles.

They appear to have potential for the many peacekeeping operations which the LRRA finds itself on all over Asia. Being significantly lighter than the XA-185, the NV-05 appears to fit the requirements of a light patrol vehicle for a variety of combat situations which the BRDM-1 and UAZ have not been able to adequately perform.
