Field Marshal Philippe Bon of the 1st Parachute Army and Field Marshal Antonio Don Juan Miguel of the 2nd Parachute Army were ordered to lead their armies into South Carolina and Georgia.
The 1st Parachute Army, comprised of 10 Federal and 6 Commonwealth Parachute Divisions, along with 2 Rapid Response Airmobile Divisions was tasked with securing South Carolina.
Whilst the 2nd Parachute Army, comproised of 8 Federal and 4 Commonwealth Parachute Divisions, along with 6 Rapid Response Airmobile Divisions was tasked with securing Georgia.
It was going to be a good fight, but probably a quick one. Georgia and South Carolina had recently slid into anarchy as a result of Yerffej government falling apart overnight. Mississippi was going to fill the void left by their rapid decline into nothingness.
The white chutes were opening all across Georgia and South Carolina, no real coordinated defense forces were there to stop them, at least not in the skies. What few rusting F-16s and F-14s the defenses tried to put up, were quickly downed by overwhelming numbers of superior MiG-41s.
The real fight would come on the ground, in the swamps and hills, the forests, against the militias and the guerilla forces sure to spring up to attempt to combat the paratroopers.
