Races
ORC
http://www.battle.net/war3/images/orc/units/portraits/wolfrider.gif
The Orcs, who once cultivated a quiet Shamanistic society upon the world of Draenor, were corrupted by the chaos magics of the Burning Legion and formed into a voracious, unstoppable Horde. The Legion planned to use them against various human worlds and colonies, but the dimensional gateway known as the Dark Portal caused the world of Draenor to become unstable and the Orcs to become dissillusioned. Disgusted with their failure, the demons of the Legion left Draenor and the Orcs to fend for themselves.
Now, under the visionary leadership of Durotan Dreamweaver, the Orcs have stripped themselves of their demonic influences and stand ready to combat the vile Legion with courage and honor. Using the ancient, Shamanistic magics of their rediscovered culture, the powerful warriors of the Horde will stop at nothing to ensure that they're never used as pawns again. They now travel the galaxy to utilized the various "spoils" on multiple worlds. Though they pledge to follow the ways of the shaman, the Orcs cannot deny their demonic upbringing and often revert back to acts of violence against unarmed civilians.
TROLL
http://www.battle.net/war3/images/orc/units/portraits/headhunter.gif
The disenfranchised Trolls of northern Lordaeron have pledged their savage services to the Orcish Horde. These cunning warriors are trained from birth to hunt, track and trap the most dangerous beasts in the wild. They are also masters of technology, maintaining the Orcish vessels and dissecting the various technologies that the Orcs obtain. They are masters of ranged combat, having superior senses of sight and smell. They hurl the mighty vibrospears and utilize the new blasters of the Horde.
TAUREN
http://www.battle.net/war3/images/orc/units/portraits/tauren.gif
The mighty Tauren of Kalimdor have pledged their allegiance to the new Horde out of respect for their courage and honor. The bold Tauren seek only to safeguard their quiet culture from the deathly fires of the Burning Legion. They are physically stronger than an Orc and almost as intelligent as a Troll. The Tauren, despite their impressive strength and intelligence, have a slightly lesser position in Horde society. Despite this, the Tauren enjoy high-ranking positions in the Horde and take pleasure in the fact that their High Chieftan, Cairne Bloodhoof, is the WarChief's right hand counselor. They are slow to anger, but are dangerous when they reach such a state.
WYVERN
http://www.worldofwar.net/fanart/003.jpg
The sentient Wyverns of Kalimdor were eager to ally themselves with the Shamanistic Horde. Impressed by the Orcs' commitment to honor and victory, the Wyverns allowed the Orcs to ride them into combat against those who would disturb the tranquility of Kalimdor and its denizens. The Wyverns, who share a common ancestry with both Dragons and Gryphons, use their powerful talons and razor-like fangs against both airborne attackers and ground troops.
GOBLIN
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v296/dafeaz/Orcs/tinker.gif
The Goblin Empire of Illetrias was easily conquered by the Horde after a crash landing by the dis'troyah Kul'tagadore. The Goblins, despite being smaller and starting off at a lower technological level than the Horde, quickly adapted to life amongst the powerful races of the Horde and are now valued members of society. They love technology and everything about it, shunning the magics offered them by shamanism. They succeed where the Trolls fail, being able to innovate rather than simply adapt, and their strange (and often faulty) inventions are marveled at by the other races. They also serve as intelligence agents for the WarChief.

Weapons Overview
Vibroweapons
Vibroweapons, ranging from small vibroknives to the massive vibrohalberds used by the Tauren, are the standard weapon of Horde marines. Using small power cells, the vibroweapons usually have a standard life of up to ten hours of constant use, and recharge automatically when not in use. By pressing the activation stud will power up the blade, or it can be set so that it will be activated as soon as it is pulled from the sheath. The blade vibrates so fast that it seems to blur while its low hum of the generator can be heard several meters away. The blade can cut effortlessly through duraplast, ceramic armor, and metal alloys. Vibrospears work in a similar fashion, though their power cells are designed for a far more volatile output. Once activated, a vibrospear cannot be deactivated and will run for about an hour. They vibrate far faster than a vibroblade and provide unheard of penetration power. There have been instances of Wind Riders attacking landing craft with starship-grade armor...and winning.
Spearthrower
This captured technology provides Orcish vessels with their primary destructive armament. Asychronous linear-induction motor produces bipolar magnetic field to fire large projectiles at nearly a quarter of light speed.
Lightning Catauplt
Another technology taken from other races, the Lightning Catapult provides the standard armament for Orcish vessels. The Orcs, being more adaptive than innovative, like nothing more than stealing technology from more advanced nations. The Lightning Catapults disable shields and point defense weapons, opening the way for Orcish boarding pods and zeppelins to take the enemy craft.
Thorium
This rare metal is found in great quantities on Draenor, Lordaeron, Kalimdor, and several other planets in the Orc sector. It can also be synthesized from titanium and, for a less pure form, from steel. It is nearly indestructible by all standard means, yet also is very pliable. This makes it the perfect material to make vibroblades, vibrospear heads, and armor from.

Society Overview
ORC
The Orcs are made up of various groups known as Clans. There are a dozen or so of such Clans, and all Clans are led by the FarSeers. The FarSeers report to the WarChief, who is the leader of all the Clans. Shamans are held as the highest possible achievement for an Orc, followed by the warrior caste and then finally that of the peon. Shamans and warriors that prove themselves to be elite are given surnames. All other Orcs have only one name.
WarChief
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v296/dafeaz/Orcs/Thrall.jpg
Durotan Dreamweaver (pictured above) is the current WarChief of the Horde. He is the Orc who led his bretheren to rise up against the vile Burning Legion and secure their freedom. Under his leadership, the Orcs took to the stars and recruited the other races in the Horde. He is a mighty Shaman despite his young age, and commands the utmost respect from the Clans.
FarSeer
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v296/dafeaz/Orcs/farseer.gif
Far Seers are ancient Orcs who represent the pinnacle of Shamanistic power. These powerful Shamans are counted amongst Durotan's closest advisors and are constantly in tune with the workings and maneuverings of the Horde. Far Seers are not only tied to the elements of the earth and sky, but are also adept at foretelling the future. They are leaders of individual Clans and each one commands a pair of Blademasters.
Blademaster
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v296/dafeaz/Orcs/blademaster.gif
Though their numbers are few, the seasoned Blademasters represent an elite fighting force within the Horde. When a Shaman becomes a FarSeer, he selects two Grunts to become his koo'teen, which over time become Blademasters. The Blademasters not only learn the art of combat from more seasoned Blademasts, but also are taught in the ways of the Shaman by their FarSeer. The bond between FarSeer and Blademaster is quite strong. The Blademasters will know if their Master is in danger, and the FarSeer will likewise know when his cherished koo'teen are in deadly peril.
Wind Rider
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v296/dafeaz/Orcs/wyvernrider.gif
The Wind Riders are the elite guard of the WarChief and FarSeers. The Orcs, though proud of their Drak'qua fighters, still cling to the ancient ways of combat. With the Wind Riders mounting on the backs of the sentient Wyverns, they charge headlong into battle to support their earthbound allies. Their vibrospears and blasters are feared throughout the Horde's enemies.
Shaman
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v296/dafeaz/Orcs/shaman.gif
Under the leadership of Durotan, the Orcs have rediscovered their ancient Shamanistic traditions. In an attempt to rid the Horde of its demonic corruption, Durotan banned the use of Warlock magic and necromancy. Now, all Orc magic users practice Shaman magic which draws its power from the natural world and the elements. The Shamans can, over time, become FarSeers if they prove themselves to be especially in tune with the elements. They wear the pelt of their spirit beast - more often than not a Draenorian Wolf - to amplify their powers.
Grunt
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v296/dafeaz/Orcs/grunt.gif
Grunts are the first and last line of the Horde's defense. These powerful fighters arm themselves with mighty vibroaxes and display all of the savagery and cunning of their race. In past generations, Grunts were characterized by their depravity and brutality. But now, under the visionary leadership of Durotan, the Grunts more closely resemble their savage, yet noble ancestors.
Peon
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v296/dafeaz/Orcs/peon.gif
The label of Peon denotes the lowest station amongst those in the Orcish Horde. Inferior in all skills of worth, these dogs are relegated to menial tasks such as harvesting food and mining ore. Their labor is also required for the construction and maintenance of buildings and vessels necessary to support the vast undertakings of the Horde. Downtrodden, the Orc Peons slave thanklessly to please their overseers.
TROLL
Troll society is...difficult...to explain. The Trolls really have no society, having been fully (and startlingly willingly) absorbed into the Horde. The basic social unit is the family, which join together to form packs. The Packs are led by Shadow Hunters, who are aided by Witch Doctors and Head Hunters. The Trolls serve as the tinkers, machinists, and inventors of the Horde. Their senses of smell and sight also aid the Horde, with the Trolls using the ranged weapons of the Horde to support the Orc and Tauren lines.
Shadow Hunter
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v296/dafeaz/Orcs/O_shadow_hunter_.jpg
These reclusive, wily jungle trolls are considered to be the highest authority within their respective warbands. They are masters of voodoo magics who can use their spirit-powers to both heal their allies and place curses upon their hapless enemies. The Shadow Hunters walk the line between darkness and light in hopes of salvaging the future for their savage brethren. A Shadow Hunter serves as one of Durotan's councilors on the Grand Council of Three.
Witch Doctor
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v296/dafeaz/Orcs/witchdoctor.gif
Although they are savage and nefarious in the extreme, the Troll Witch Doctors have aligned themselves with the Horde out of pure necessity. These dastardly magic users are adept at manipulating the chemical processes within their fellow warriors in order to augment their combat abilities.
Head Hunter
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v296/dafeaz/Orcs/berserker.gif
In times of war Troll Headhunters turn their mighty vibrospears upon the enemies of the Horde without hesitation. Capable of hurling their deadly spears at distant enemies, Troll Headhunters provide invaluable cover fire for the other warriors of the Horde.
TAUREN
The Tauren society is based on Tribes. The leaders of Tribes are known as Tauren Chieftans. The Tauren society is based around the immediate and extended family, and they tend to be reclusive to the other races of the Horde. Like the Orc, Tauren are given surnames only after they have proven their worth.
Chieftan
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v296/dafeaz/Orcs/chieftain.gif
These elder Tauren warriors lead their Tribes in daily life as well as in battle. Ceremoniously decked with the ancient totems of their Tribes, Chiefs uphold the honor and simplicity of Tauren culture. When roused by battle, the gigantic Chiefs employ enormous warblades which are capable of tearing through solid trees with one mighty swipe. The Chiefs are fascinated by the Orcs, especially their young leader, Durotan. The Chiefs see an opportunity to help the Orcs return to their traditional roots by providing a strong example of honor and courage through all Tauren warriors.
Spirit Walker
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v296/dafeaz/Orcs/spiritwalker.gif
Believed to be the ill omen of a coming age, white Tauren are held in near reverence by their people, often becoming reclusive priests who wander the land in search of kindred spirits. They have an extremely close bond with the planets on which they dwell. They have even been reported bringing the dead back to life with their magics. Spirit Walkers have started to be born at an alarming rate ever since the Tauren induction to the Horde...
Warrior
http://www.battle.net/war3/images/orc/units/portraits/tauren.gif
Tauren Warriors are the backbone of the Horde. Lower-ranking members will wield their family totems, while higher-ranking members will surrender their totems to younger siblings and take the mighty vibrohalberds.
ORCISH LANGUAGE
Dabu: "Thank you," or "Yes Sir"
Lok'tar: Litterally "For strength" (or "be strong") Can mean "pay attention" or be used on greeting or parting.
Lok'tar ogar: "For strength and honor" Used as a battlecry or as an extended version of "Lok'tar"
Throm'Ka: "Hail and well met" (formal greeting)
Lok'Nar osh: A Battlecry.
Zug zug: "Yes"
Draenei'kul: "Chosen of Draenor" the name the Orcs have given to themselves as they are the dominant race of Draenor. A compliment to non-Orc member of the Horde, MASSIVE compliment to an alien not of the Horde. Only after a race has gained the Horde's trust will this term be used, and then only to its leaders.
Aka'thoramar: "Treachery!" (used to warn of an ambush or as a disciplinary term)
(Aka'thoramar was the Orc who betrayed his race's location to the Burning Legion. His name is met with strong hostility for those under Durotan's rule.)
Kara Kil'jaeden: "Servant of Kil'jaeden". Usually meant as to describe one of the Burning Legion's minions. Worse insult than aka'thoramar, used on aliens that are hostile to the Horde.
Ish ne a lo por-ah: "May the spirits guide you, young spirit." Tauren greeting.

OOC: Helpful :D. I wasn't sure whether to call an orc fat or not.
Are those spear throwers actually 'spear throwers', or a fancy name for a ray gun?
Gaia Rodina

The "spear throwers" on the ground actually are spears, but in space the term "spearthrower" is what the Orcs call a railgun.
