Germanian Military Expansion (Semi-Open RP, Future-Modern RP, FKC & allies invite)

North Germania

OOC: What this is basically about are the current military conflicts in which N.G. is involved, and the death of the Kaiser and who will take his place. Feel free to join, as long as you ask first in an OOC post. Thanks in advance.

Veisser, North Germania, in an official meeting with the Emperor/Dictator...

Translated from Germanian...

Reichschancellor Einheit: Well, it appears, Großfeldmarshals and advisors, that we are becoming involved with multiple conflicts. First Neo Tyr & Hogsweat, now the situation in Layarteb-occupied Venezuela. Not that I am concerned with spreading our forces out too thin. What I mean is that there are over 4 million soldiers in the Reichswehr, over 55,000 tanks...you understand what I am saying, gentlemen. I appointed you because you are NOT stupid. Spreading thin is not a concern at this juncture.

Nor is the international community's response. Hell, the FKC fought off an entire planet of robots of far more advanced technology than most of the nations within the Klatch.

What does concern me is that some pissant, bleeding-heart ruler of another country may decide to strike us with nuclear force if we defend our allies in the name of justice.

We have over 38,000 nuclear weapons, so retaliation is not my concern either.

My concern is that I will die an old man with his country in ruins, and lose all respect from the people who trusted him completely. As you all know, I am dying of stomach cancer. I am an old man who has brought this nation from a mear spark to an inferno of power, with the help of our allies and yourselves.

I must appoint an heir to the Empire, and soon. I have only months left to live. But so help me God, I will not fade away like some coward. Germania will remain, and will always be, a mighty and powerful Empire until its dying breaths.

I have several candidates for heirs to the Empire:

1. Großfeldmarshal Fourth Class Rudolf Küll
2. My eldest and powerful son, Wilhelm Heinrisch Einheit
3. My youngest and brilliant son, Wilhelm Größer Einheit

The question is, gentlemen...[he bends over in pain and nearly falls out of his chair, slowly regaining himself as a Großfeldmarshal holds him up]...who is the best candidate?

Rudolf is the most experienced, wisest, and trusted soldier in the army. My eldest son is not so experienced, but he is still my son. And powerful and brave beyond words can describe. My youngest is beyond genius. He would rule better than I have. However, my eldest would naturally become green with envy and wicked, as he is the elder.

I wish to hold a conference with the leaders of the Klatch, and hear their thoughts. I just hope I will be remembered as the Emperor who brought Germania its glory, pride, and unquestionable strength.

To: Leaders of all nations of the Klatch
From: Reichschancellor Wilhelm Kübler Einheit, III
Subject: My soon death

I wish to hold a meeting with all of you. I send you this message because I am informing you all that I am dying of stomach cancer. I shall rest eternally within months. Though I do not fear my death.

I wish to hold this meeting to gather your opinions on who is to claim the Empire when I am gone. I helped defend the Klatch in numerous conflicts and all out wars. Remember Dozle. I lost 1.65 million soldiers at the hands of those droids. Now I defend the Klatch in Neo Tyr. My loyalty has never wavered. This is all I ask of you.

I beg you, please make room in your busy schedules to listen a dying man's last concerns and wishes. I dearly hope at least some of you will make it.

Hopefully,
Reichschancellor Wilhelm Kübler Einheit, III

In Dyelli Beybi the news was greeting with it's usual eye for opportunity, mixed with a little sympathy and astonishment. Most of the Dyelli Beybian leadership couldn't quite figure out why the Reichschancellor hadn't stepped down months earlier, butin reality what the Germanians did was really none of their concern.

But generally they liked the North Germanians, even if they were a little prone to use a rocket in situations where a rock was more appropriate...

So preparations were made for the High Chancellor, Eamon Collins to travel North, just as soon as some internal matters were cleared up...

The North Germanian announcement was received with some alarm within the walls of the Diplomatic Corps. They knew that the Kaiser was in ill health, but did not suspect that his time was this short. It was a delicate matter, and so it was pushed up to the highest levels of government.

A decision was made, and instead of sending a usual Ambasador or Special Envoy, the Minister of Inter-Klatch Affairs was soon boarding a jet, flanked with his usual staff, intel officers, and a squadron of King’s Own.

To: Dyelli Beybi High Chancellor Eamon Collins
CC: Minister of Inter-State Affairs
Subject: My death

I thank you deeply for being true to someone who has for the longest time considered you allies of Germania.

Following our meeting, to serve the best interests of the Klatch, I will depart for Neo Tyr and personally fight amongst my friends and troops.

May I die in battle, rather than a weakling in a hospital bed.

To: King of Vrak
From: Reichschancellor Wilhelm Kübler Einheit, III
Subject: My thanks

I would like to thank you, sir, for always being a helping hand for me in the most trying of times. You will be missed, once I pass to Valhalla.

My funeral is being prepared. A special wing dedicated to the deaths of its leaders is being built in the Greatest Holy Germanian Church. I will be buried in the Cathedral, with a statue of me holding upwards in both hands, the Germanian Sword, and at my feet, the Germanian Cross. I hope I will be remembered by others, besides my people.

The Emperor was mortified. Stomach cancer! He thought. Cancer is the evil wrath of the world upon the evility of humanity yet always the good ones suffer. He sent back his reply with condolences and wished Reichschancellor Wilhelm Kübler Einheit, III the best of luck in battle. Additionally, the remaining debt from the Neo Tyr war would be forgiven so that the remaining $10.8B could be used to assist with reconstruction and other necessary items.

I will soon hold a convention with my region and allies as to decide who they feel best to rule. I am becoming too old, and I am taking too many painrelievers to make these decisions alone. I request your help.

Please come. It will be held in the capital city of Veisser.

My choices for heir to the Empire are:

1. Großfeldmarshal Fourth Class Rudolf Küll
2. My eldest son
3. My youngest son

All of whom you shall meet, if you attend.

Sincerly,
Wilhelm

Jiggady

Ten men sat around the table in a small dark smoke filled room in the bowels of government square. This was the inner sanctum of the JDA, newly reconstructed with William Deamons promotion to Minister of State, being in position as the right hand of the Queen as well as running the Jiggady Defense Agency made him the most powerful man in the nation.

"This has come across our wire, and I have yet to pass it along to the queen. While we have not had much interaction with our Northern regional members, the importance of this must not be overlooked. North Germania draws alot of power and influence and a regime change, especially with the FKC involved in multiple wars, would be devistating." Deamon said after blowing out a long stream of smoke from his cigar.

"We will obviously send a delegate to this conference, and I will make sure that the Queen accepts one of you to go. It will be greatly in the interest of the FKC that North Germania remains a powerful nation, militarily and politicaly."

several hours later a telegram was sent from the office of the Queen,

We here in Jiggady are greatly saddened by this news, and want to say not to hesitate to ask us for anything to make your last days peaceful, my great emperor. While our two nations have had little in common and little in way of cooperation and communication in the past, we see this as an opportunity to create that bridge; and make sure that the FKC remains a powerful nation.

From: The Reichschancellor

I greatly appreciate your concern for my death, and I guarantee you that whoever takes my place as Kaiser shall keep North Germania as it always has been -- economically powerful, militarily powerful, unified, and defender of the Klatch. It is my intention to create a joint ruling system.

The ascenders to the Empire will be appointed by me at the conference to be held in North Germania. I have already decided who shall take my place; however, if the FKC and my allies have any questions or concerns at this conference, they will be answered by me, and my ascenders.

Gratefully,
Reichschancellor Einheit, III

I thank you more than words can express for being my friend and ally when I most need you. I look forward to seeing you at the conference.

And, of course we have an airport large enough to hold a 747. :)

The Emperor's VC-25C Condor landed at the secure airbase on time. The decoys were all on the ground as well on similiar airports across the Empire of Layarteb in Labrador and the northeastern United States. They would all take off at the same time and follow multiple routes to the Germanian airport. The flight time was figured to be some sixteen hours.

The Vrakian military transport signalled its arrival into North Germanian airspace. The veteran pilot acknowledged the transmitted flight plan and responded accordingly. In truth, the Germanians were perhaps as paranoid as the Vrakians when it came to security.
North Germania
18-11-2004, 03:08
The Germanian armored escort was waiting on the landing strip for the Vrakians to exit their plane.

The Vrakians would be brought to the conference area by a convoy of 10 Heavy-Armored Fuchs Transporters, along with 14 Schultzpolizei patrol vehicles.

North Germania was one of the safest countries to be in, yet they were taking no chances in risking Vrakians being killed in their nation.
Vrak
22-11-2004, 17:03
The transport plane taxied to its designated area and stopped. A ramp extended and two King's Own stepped out, machine guns at the ready with their red and black Royal Dress uniform snapping in the breeze. An "all clear" signal was given and then a huge man dressed in a formal tuxedo with long black hair followed by a massive walruse waddled out. He was dressed in a richly decorated blue vest and sported a multi-colored hat, complete with tassel.

The Minister for Inter-Klatch Affairs made his way to the nearest high ranking North Germania official and apologized, saying in effect that the King of Vrak never leaves Vrak itself these days due to health concerns. Ten more King's Own file out, followed by a small party of aides attached to the Minister. Two of them are carrying a rather large long box. The large black-haired man, easily six foot six, stood near the Minister and surveyed the landscape with his off-colored eyes.

The boat cut swiftly through the water, and Harvy Jaques gripped the rails until his knuckles turned white. He hated traveling by water, but the government would only fly him as far as their carrier group that was currently on tour in the dark sea. The chopper landed on one of the carriers and he was immediatly whisked away onto the launch before he even had a chance to get any pills for his sea sickness.

The junior head of the Jiggady Defense Agency closed his eyes against the spray of the water and tucked his briefcase close to his body, hugging it for comfort. They were still over an hour from the coast of North Germania and he prayed that it would go by fast, and thought of booking a public flight back to Jiggady.
Dyelli Beybi
22-11-2004, 21:31
At a similar time a Dyelli Beybian Government jet was signalling it's arrival to North Germanian ground control, onboard was the High Chancellor as well as a High Ranking Cheka Officer, Tania Fradkov (Political Officer First Class), were both onboard. It was expected Collins would need to return to Dyelli Beybi before the conference was over, so Fradkov was there to replace him in that eventuality.
