Phase One commences

Today the last connection in the "Matrix" - a network connecting all major universities and institutes in Random Kingdom - has been laid. The project, government-funded and costing ยง10,212,675,928, will allow for faster access by institutes to information gathered by other institutes, signalling a boom in scientific research. This is the groundwork of a project to bring Random Kingdom into the Postmodern Age by the end of government term 10. The next thing to do is "Phase One" - use the IT power of the Matrix to bring together major universities and institutes into a tight union, and open the network to schools, too.
Phase 2 - rebuild the curriculum
Phase 3.1 - raise funds for institutes
Phase 3.2 - raise funds for universities
Phase 3.3 - raise funds for schools and colleges
Phase 4 - science month - advertising science
Phase 5 - review institutes, release work into public domain
Phase 6 - prepare to advance
