The Golencian Politician Robert Dupree, was assasinated last night while awaiting the results of the election. President Ruben Aragon lays no claim to the assasination, and after a final tally the President would have won the election by a landslide.

The Holy Republic of Golencia has orchestrated a team of scientific experts who have concluded that the attack was from a foriegn assasin. While their investigation continues the President of Golencia demands that the country responsible for this heinous crime step up and face the consequences.

Grays Hill sends it condolences to the nation of Golencia. Should they call upon it, the forces of Grays Hill are ready to back the nation of Golencia. This attack shows that world that no matter who you are, you are not garunteed anything, including one more day.

The Golencian Republic thanks Grays Hill whoe heartidly for their "Steps to protecting a country in need" says President Ruben. If any country is brave enough to step up to these acts, they will be respected for their courage however torn to shreds for their crimes.

Seratoan Foreign Office:
Seratoah sends its condolences on the death of Mr. Dupree, and calls upon any nation with information as to the origins of his assassin to step forward.

Seratoah also calls on both Grays Hill and President Ruben not to act before a full investigation into the assassination can be conducted, and significant evidence presented as to the guilt of any nation who admits to their involvement.

War should always be the last resort.

Again, the thoughts of Seratoah lie with Mr. Dupree's family and Golencia as a whole.

This just in! The Golencian Promise to declare war on the country who assasinated the canidate may be a flase claim! The President gave this short speech to his countrymen just minutes ago!

"After this incident with the killing of Senator Robert Dupree, the Cardinal has asked the Republic to decide on the fate of the election. They have voted to keep me in office, but to have another canidate run against me in the upcoming days. The Zanziikian Special Operations Group executive branch officially confirmed that a renegade member of the SWaTO special forces group was responsible for the killing of Robert Dupree of the nations of Golencia. The Supreme Overlord issued this statement following the report.

"People of the international community and Golencia. I would like to take this moment to officially apologize for the behavior of the SWaTO ex-member in question. Please know that this is such an evil deed that this is the first time Zanziik is officially acknowledging the existence of the previously top-secret SWaTO group. The officer in question has been apprehended and will be sent to your country for your trial. He is a disgrace to our country, and we hope you punish him justly. Again, I apologize for his actions."

The Holy Republic Demands:

The President has not been permitted to declare war on your country and unless our demands are met we will give him supreme diplomatic power. We the Holy Republic demand that all information on the SWaTO ex-member and current existing group be sent over along with the Prisoner.

We also demand that once the prisoner has been transfered no one other then the Golencian Guards accompiny him to his trial. Only Golencia Citizens and that of her allies will be permitted.

We demand that your countries government give payment to the Dupree family so they can recover from Senator Dupree's lost income.

A man runs up to the President whispers in his ear and hands him more papers.

"People of the World, i have been informed that a Golencian Sub was attacked today and sunk a Zanziikian Sub by mistake. A Rescue team was sent down to the sunken sub, and saved the lives of 288 people, while 12 were killed. We hope this is not seen as a hostile action from Golencia to Zanziik. The attack took place in Golencian Waters, and the sub should not have been there in the first place. Golencia will pay for the damages done, and will look into Zanziikian Request."

We face a terrible problem on our hands. With the recent Sub sinking and the killing of our Cardinal, unrest has encircled Golencia. Although it is against our laws the people are demanding the Senators declare war BEFORE the election is over. By Law Grand Felonies, are Death Penalties. Among the Legal ones are Firing Squad, Lethal Injection, and the Electric Chair. You have been sentenced to death. As per your Request in my office your fate will be kept a secret and your execution will only be witnessed by myself and the Executioner.

Our embassy is seeking permission to use some of our more covert operatives to attempt to infiltrate the rebel factions as 'foreign insurgents' and weed out the named leader Howard Stoppel.

"Let's go boys!" The Captain said, as he ordered his men to board the planes. There were several C-130s lined up waiting for the marines from the 2nd Security Squadron. About 1,200 combat ready men were being loaded onto the planes to fly to Golencia. 200 of them were to go to various cities as commanded by the Golencia military, to train troops and officers. The other 1,000 are to be stationed around various cities to be picked out by Golencia. The troops are to keep the peace, and hunt down and look for Howard Stoppel, if needed.

If for any reason, you no longer wish for my troops to be in your nation, and on the drop of a dime, they will be called home. I insure you that they are for gaurding you streets from the resistance organization now forming. IC: The death of James Isington was a good one. This put alot of tension off the Zanziikian Government with Golencia, but there was still alot there. As the Overlord had said, disbanding the SWaTO was impossible. So the best minds were working on reconstructing it. They didn't want war, and the submarine was a mistake, accounted for by the captain due to radar faliure and they ended up in Golencian waters. That at this time was not good, but the Golencians seemed sorry. Zanziik accepted their apologies and asked that the men be left at peace in their water graves. Their lives would better tie Zanziik and Golencia together. The government sent a representitive to Seratoah to attend the meeting. Her name was Sarah Deasy. She was one of the best they had and their prayers were with her.

The President has stated that the Military from grays Hills is here to train our own officers as well as help defend against the riots we've had reoccuring here. Currently President Ruben is leading the polls however tomorrow the Final tally will be counted."

Trejo a small city near the Capitol was sitting in silence until the City Hall blew up. The startled Civilians grabbed their weapons and stormed outside to see Hundreds of Soldiers from the Gray Hills Millitary engaged in combat with enemy Militants. General Powell of the Golencian Army was in command. He split his forces into three groups which would clear out the city. The First Group Alpha, was to sit tight in the middle of the City while the other two groups, Delta and Bravo circled the City.

As Delta and Bravo traveled through the city, Alpha was attacked from all angles. The other two groups raced in and engaged. Fierce fighting broke out and after fighting for three straight hours the Grays Hill soldiers emerged victoriously. 213 Militants were killed 86 were Injured, 195 Civilians were killed. 127 Total Grays Hill soldiers were killed. The Injuries number at a combined rate of 52. All Injured Foreign Soldiers were sent back to grays hill after Medical Treatment by order of the President. "They did what they came here to do. The protected our Nation and were injured for it. We have sent them home to recooperate.

OOC: Its considered a godmod for you to call someone elses loses in battle, but in this case I dont care, because i said the troops were under you command, and i am in no way angered or upset because as you said the troops did what they went there to do.

It has been against our laws to knowingly permit agents from outside Golencia into our country. However it was also illegal for us to permit Grays Hills Troops in our Home Land. We are pleased to announce that the terrorist group Liberation Army, which had been working in conjunction with Stoppel has been destroyed. Our counter-terrorism Spies discovered where the Hideout for the terrorist was located. It was a coastal City of Hermont. The New Naval Fleets we recieved bombarded the coast and as the terrorists ran they were shotdown by the Grays Hill Soldiers in the Country.

With this great news comes bad news. The Raid was considered a success however not all the occupants were terrorists. Sadly 38 Civilians were killed in the Attack. They've been identified and payments for their funerals have been taking care of. The Families of this citizens were shocked to hear what had happened, but forgave the Government for the Raid that killed their loved ones.
Unfortunately we did not find Stoppel in this hideout and we believe he is still hiding in Fressia, however as i have stated a Ground Invasion is impossible without sustaining alrge casualties. We still await Grays Hill's answer on our Request for an Air Strike.

Grays Hill would like to remind Golencia that air craft carries carry air crafts. :P I gave you 3 carriers. 2 Illeana Vassili-Class Carriers and 1 Nimitz carrier. A total of 315 air craft. The planes possible are F/A-18 and the F-35. You can have 315 of one or the other, or a mixture.

OOC: Are any of them bombers? Sorry my dad was in the Navy but he was in an F-14 Fighter Squadron during the Cold War

OOC: No, they are both fighters, but they are top of the line. They can deliver a strike on anything anywhere within their range. The F/A-18 is what the US navy currently uses, and the F-35 is what is going to replace it in somewhere between 2006-2008. Golencian F-35s fly over Frussia their Target City Hall. "Today we will rid ourselves of a plague that has spread through our country...." They pass the City Hall flying past they round and head in for an attack. "We will once again leave in peace from those who oppose us." Pilot: Fire! the missile heads for the City Hall. "We are now FREE!" A large explosion sets off in the center of City Hall the building was now a burning inferno as men with AKM-47s run from the building on fire shooting in all directions.
"The Great Nation of Grays Hill has contributed to our success and we are forever in their debt."[i]

Using cannons the aircraft swoop down just above the City firing on the Terrorists.

Several Hours Later.....

Today we liberated our country and the tools we used to do it were from the Nation of Grays Hill. We now ask that all agents and military personell here to deal with the terrorists depart. Our CIM has found the names of several outside Agents, that were not from Seratoah. They have been taken into Custody and will be released as soon as tomorrow. We ask that Grays Hill's soldiers here to train our own Police Officers and Military Personell stay, however this is up to Grays Hill.

With that the President left the Press Conference and sank into his chair with a smile of victory on his face.

OOC: Well i'd say mission accomplished RP done. However if anyone wants we can let this go on longer....

As promised, 200 soldiers are to remain in Golencia to train them. out of the 1,000 other soldiers there to fight 884 are comming home. As for the other 116, they died in combat. They were sacrificed for a good cause, and their names will go on the Wall of Heros, honoring those who have died for the better of Grays Hill and other countries.

The Holy Republic has formed a team of Designers who are now creating a memorial for the lost soldiers.

....coming to you live from the Capitol Hotel here in Toniah, where talks have been going on for some time now between Golencia and Zanziik. We were told to expect a major announcement at this press conference, and....wait, wait, here they come now......

Foreign Office Director Borje Stag led both of the delegates onto the podium and began his statement.
In the early hours of this morning, delegates from Zanziik and Golencia finalised an agreement which will secure the futures of both nations following the incident in Golencian waters and the assassination of Senator Robert Dupree.

The terms of the agreement are as follows:
1. The Holy Republic of Golencia will pay compensation to the families of the dead Zanziikian sailors accidentally killed by her submarine.
2. The Dominion of Zanziik will honourably discharge all SWaTO members who worked directly with assassin James Isington, and it's proposed changes to the structure of SWaTO will go ahead. SWaTO will not, however, be disbanded.
3. Both nations have agreed to an exchange of ambassadors in an attempt to avoid future misunderstanding and improve relations between these two great countries.

We hope that this Treaty of Toniah will usher in a new age of hope and reconciliation between the people of Golencia and the citizens of Zanziik.
