OOC: This is a history "factbook" It would be fun if someone took the time and read it and made a comment/feedback/critiscm.
The Vast and Prosperous Nation of the Swedish Dominions have a great history. Kings have come and passed. Wars have been fought and won.
This Chapter of the Great Book focuses on the Great List of Monarchs Throughout the Ages. We will Start with the best known.
AGE OF EXPLORATION
1389 - 1487
This is the Age of Exploration. A timeperiod where the great Crusaders found the Peninsula of Scandonia. They fought Barbarians from the late 14th Century and into the early 15th Century when they claimed the peninsula. The Six Greatest Crusaders where choosen as rulers. But bitterness and betrayal resulted in splitting. The Peninsula was split into six nations, Norrland, Svealand, Götaland, Lappland, Ingermanland, Uppland. The Years passed on and wars were fought between the nations. We will now have some known facts about the Kings of the Nations.

This is Carl Engelvear Hederman, the king of the largest nation on Scandonia. He was brutal and was feared by all. He was the warrior king that ruled his nation from the age of 21 to the age of 76 when he died. He introduced an early form of conscription. That's the reason why his army was so powerful. He also found gold in the ground under the Capital of the Nation, Stackenhalm. His people thrived and his popularity was skyhigh. He ruled with a steady ironfist until he perished and then his son inherited the throne.

This is Erik Sigismund Gothia, the king of the next largest nation. He was peaceful and cared more for his people then of his army. He focused on building libraries and Universities. He was educated and civilized. But his people suffered from drought and starvation. Because the fields of Götaland was filled with oil. Noone could use the soil. So fields of grain was a rare sight. He traded with Svealand. Svealand gave him food and Götaland allowed Svealand to use them as a passage for troops. Erik ruled Götaland from the age of 17 to the age of 69 when he perished. His daughter inherited the throne. She transformed the peaceful nation into a raging bear.

This is Charles Engelvear Hederman, the brother of Carl Hederman. He was offered to inherite the throne of Svealand instead of creating Norrland. But he denied the offer and created the Third largest nation. He conquered vast areas of arable grounds and with many orespots. His Armies were the second largest and Svealand and Norrland often clashed in battles. Charles and his brother Carl was often mad at each other and tried to conquer each other. But all wars often ended up with a stalemate and a truse where negotiated. Borders between Svea - and Norrland changed all the time. Charles ruled Norrland from the age of 20 to the age of 56 when he was killed in battle.

AGE OF WAR
1487 - 1600
The small borderclashes occured often under the rule of the past dynasties. When the new dynasties started to emgerge larger grandscale conflicts erupted. Svealand and Götaland was the strongest nations and where often at war. When Norrland and Lappland allied against Svealand and Ingermanland the Age of War began. In this part we will talk about the three most important figures in the Age of War. This must not neccessarily mean Monarchs.

King Hans von Tinndahl made a big decision when he joined with Svealand. The Ingermanlandian economy and army where at the bottom. They had only a few thousand men and they were unexperienced. So when the Lapplandian troops attacked Ingermanland the land was lost. Fournately is that Svealandian troops liberated Ingermanland a few months later. King Hans had been in exile in Svealand from the day of the attack until the day of the liberation. When he returned the people wanted his removal. He had dragged them into a devestating war which they couldn't win or have any kind of benefit of. He was hanged at the age of 45.

It was on King Johan II Egerlöf's order that Lappland and Norrland should declare war on Svearike. He was a strange king with strange ideals. He had a sickness that made his decision making suffer. That resulted in bad decisions. Like the one to attack Ingermanland. When Svealand liberated it, the Lapplandian army was annihilated. He tried to force all men in the nation to enlist but it was impossible. Lappland fell to the Svealandian hordes in 1600.
"The Age of war ended in 1600 when Svealand atlast conquered the Trio. Götaland, Norrland and Lappland. King Ralf IV of Svealand renamed the Peninsula to Svearike which basically means the Reich of Svea. His dynasty ruled over Scandonia for over 100 years. He invaded the isolated southern nation of Uppland in 1617."

AGE OF DARKNESS
1697 - 1801
The once thriving peninsula was now an inferno of domestic disturbance. The once mighty Svea Rike was tortured by civil war and chaos. Little is known about this timeperiod. It's the longest timeperiod in the history of Scandonia. Many barbaric factions had emerged and started to fight for independence. Aswell as Barbarians there were Civilized Desendants of the former Dynasties of the now annexed nations. They got the people with them and started a bloody campaign for independence. The First Nation to get independence was Götaland which plunged into darkness and isolation. In 1789 the rest of the nations recived independence and started to rebuild. The Age of Darkness ended in 1801 when a new dynasty took over the throne in Svealand.

THE AGE OF UNITY
1801 - 1985
The peninsula was again calm and peaceful. It remained peaceful for 100 years. The economy started to thrive and new armies where built. This age is about the monarchs that unified bitter enemies and created a new nation.

This is Gustav Adolph Segemyhr I. An ordinary king in the now peaceful giant of Svealand. But he wasn't so ordinary. He came up with a genious plan to unify the peninsula. It was called "The Pact of Stockholm". At first the other kings was negative to the idea and advised Gustav to learn from history. But Gustav didn't give up. He made a grandscale plan and made ecomical benefit charts and other things. That decided it, the Kings decided that scandonia should be united under one flag. The Swedish Dominions where founded in 1908. But the rest of the world still didn't recoginze them as a single nation and still treated them indivudually. Gustav I Adolph ruled the nation until his death in 1948. He was often called, The Father.

This is the son of Gustav I Adolph, Gustav Adolph Segemyhr II. He was the first real king of the Swedish Dominions because the SD was recognized by the UN in 1948. He created an economical paradise when he started to export all the natural resources. He was assiassinated when he traveled away from a riot.

This is the first tyrant of the modern age. He invaded the Uppland Dominion after they tried to secede, he introduced the Common Rule Treaty which unified all the Dominions into one nation. It was very unpopular. He was removed from power in 1985 when he started to harras minorities.
This age was the prosperous and calm. But after calm it's a storm.

AGE OF INSANITY
1985 - 2004
The nation was again about to fall apart when Gustav III Adolph gave away all foreign colonies. He lost wars and was constantly attacked by assassins and other political enemies. He was overthrown in 1995 by the new type of Monarchy, the one that almost annhilated Scandonia. The Kaiserdom. It was a short lived Dynasty where Phillip I ruled the nation in typical German tradition. He was assiassinated at a parade. The Nation was plunged into chaos. A chaos to chaotic to describe.

AGE OF HOPE
2004 - ?
Once the nation was calm again and the fight for the thrown was over. The New King arrived. His name was Gustav Adolph Segemyhr IV. He was the last of his kind. He took over the thrown and ruled it for many years until he died of age.

He had one son, a mentally disturbed Priest. He was the only one to inherite the throne. He has just sworn the Royal Oath. Will he rule the nation well? Or will the Nation plunge into chaos again? Time will tell..
