ooc: 1 lined responses are normally frowned upon and ignored. Responses made up of several lines or paragraphs are seen as much better.

IC: The Exetonian Fleet had been on the moves for several weeks now and now its final goal was in sight. F-14's had been used as scouts to locate entrenched positions before the 5 B-52's now on their final approach to the Island dropped to attack level.

Coming up below them was a heavily entrenched position. The commander orderd the bomb-bay doors opened and they were. Then, the bombs were released falling down on a heavily defended position all over it. The B-52's then circled and headed back home to re-arm and relaod. they would be back in 6 hours.

Next, the Exetonian airforce based on the Nimitz class carrier began to take off and headed for heavily fortified positions on the coast. there aim was to take out artillery and troop positions. They released their paylkoads striking home at many ragets before returning, re-arming and refueling and going off again.

The next movemennt was the deployment of troops to the now bombarded coast line and tanks aswell. The first to role onto the beaches were the tanks that began advancing on the enemy position and firing. Then would be troops moving out onto the soil before finally, the artillery made it to shore. Casualties were coming in thick nad fast as they tried to take the beaches...

Tailva forces took enormous casualties and lost the beach. fortunatly many troops were able to escape under the cover of darkness. Tailva troops have been ordered to hide in caves on the coastline and do as much dammde to the enemy forces as possible it is reported that Tailva sniper units are becoming experts at hit and run attacks on enemy forces. The Tailva winter is begining to set in and the enemy forces are not used to the extreme tempreatures it is thought that they will take great losses because of this.

ooc:God mod, how do you know my forces arenty trained for such conditions. You need to post exact casualties so i know what i am dealing with. Other than that, good attempt. Much better than your first post.

IC:The winter was setting in. It would be tough, tougher than the conditions trained in but, liveable. The snipers were becoming an annoiance, picking off officer and soldier alike not differentiating between either.

The artillery now landed on the beaches and began shelling and bombing inland targets. The B-52's were half way home. The F-14's and F-18's began to shell inland targets aswell all the while whilst the men were advancing men were still falling thru those snipers. the total had reached nearly 150. Exetonia snipers were deployed to get rid of the threat. Years of training had gotten them ready for this moment. They say and waited. Another gunshot from a sniper rifle. This time and Exetonian sniper saw it and fired...
