Concerning: The Invasion of our State

This is a formal appeal for military/peacekeeping aid.

An unprovoked attack has been launched upon our State by the rogue state, Cherry Ridge. As a free and peaceloving nation, we were shocked by the blatant disregard for Civil Liberties when Cherry Ridge made a move to ban all forms of rap music in that Country due to the unproven claims that it led to increased levels of crime.

Cherry Ridge grew increasingly hostile, and refused to negotiate this matter. We, Aligned Planets, offered all rap musicians a safe haven in our Nation from the tyranny of Cherry Ridge. Cherry Ridge responded by closing the borders between our two nations.

As this was construed by our Government to be a hostile Act, we withdrew all Diplomatic Envoys from the Nation of Cherry Ridge and mobilised a small number of troops to protect our side of the border in case of any attack made by Cherry Ridge.

In no way did we provoke or attack Cherry Ridge.

In response, Cherry Ridge declared war on Aligned Planets.

Similarly, many other nations have done so.

We cannot hold them back for long, we need immediate assistance to drive these aggressors from our country.

We will send a peackeeping force. If there is war, we request from both sides to keep civilian casualties to a minimum. The first side to cause civilian casualties on purpose, will have us to deal with.

Well, We would give aid, if SOMEONE had not codoned civilian shootings in our major cities, leaving us without supplies. Therefore, we have no aid to give. Because of that SOMEONE.

/edit: Now we are on friendlier terms, we withdraw this statement. However, it is still tue that we have not the resources to give aid.

Unsurprisingly, Gorkonian Military High Command finds any war over something so trivial and useless as music to be laughable at best, and worrying at worst.

Luckily, we retain our independence by not being in the United Nations. If you are too weak to defend yourselves, I don't see how you are worthy of other nations' dying to protect you. The weak must be purged, it is the way of things.

Sanctaphrax - Thank you for your assistance; we badly need medical supplies. Our main hospital was one of the first buildings destroyed by the bombing.

The invading forces are moving through our towns, rounding up the men, women and children, and executing them. Our people are dying.

the aid is conditional on access to your nation by our spiritual corps of combat missionaries.

Also we endorse the ban on rap music, and any other music or activities that may lead to immoral activities.

marked with peace symbols, the first c130j Hercules arrives carrying religious order medics, anti biotics, morphine and bibles and pastoral carers.

all combatants are informed that non combat air vehicles are transporting food and aid.

In a minor air strip the base camp is set up by Christworlds Order of the Crucifix military monks, with combat medics, civilian medics and religious order medics.

Also by sea, given the considerable financial stability of Christworld, Balihurton are contracted to ship fresh water, transport vehicles, flour and reconstruction equipment in the manner of prefab housing to set up field hospitals, chapels and baptismals.

The Red Crucifix of Christworld is raised over the ensuing weeks at positions around Aligned Planets.

Christworld staff, medics and missionaries politely request that rap music, rock and roll, and c&w be not played in chapels or hospitals, and seditious and pornographic movies such as Platoon, 9 1/2 weeks, the Life of Brian, bodyheat and the Lion King be played also.

Funding is directly through Balihurton from the Christworld govt.

Polite inquiries are made to the Government of Aligned Planets for foreign investment from private contractor Balihurton of Christworld in potential mining leases.
