After a day-long session in deliberations Parliment has concluded that the Premier does not accurately represent the will of the people, and therefore some of his posistion's liberties should be limited. Their decision has made the Premier a literal figure head, and their ability to make this decision has demonstrated just how much power the premier has lost since the Transition of Governments. The Premier will remain in office for the remainder of his term, and has not protested at the removal of his powers, since effectively he never excercised them in the first place.
