An Empire Expands

Emperor Johnston IV sat in his imperial chambers with a status report. It was good. The Imperial Fleet was making good time with little interference. If they kept up pace the entire Iron Kingdoms would be under Largentian control. Menoth was not to be confronted but other territories were definitely in his sights.

Mapalgetian homeworld

Admiral Swanton stood on the bridge of the Scippian class Super Destroyer. The Imperial landing ships seized territory fast. The government was no longer what it used to be and there was no formal resistance.

On the ground the Super Battle Droids set up the perimeters for a military base. The planet was theirs. They sent a message to the Imperial fleet for and extra division of troopers and the planet was secure.

When Swanton received this message he ordered the Fleet to move out. The next stop was the Johnston Arms Corp. This fight would be personal. The Emperor’s own rebel brother led these men and would give much more resistance.

Johnston Armed Corps

The radio transmission crackled over the Scippian ship. The speaker was fluent in Largentian. "Largent, om binnen te dringen is zelfmoord.Delegaties als hij u verzonden bevalt alvorens zo te handelen rashly." It translated roughly to 'Don't invade, send delegates.'

Admiral Swanton smiled. He turned to the first mate and said "they are afraid. They are no longer what they once were. Sent in two divisions of Battle Driods and a division of Troopers. Make sure we have 150 SuperBullets giving cover fire. The capital should be secured before long."

On The Ground

The first platoons touched down to find the enemy still assembling pockets of resistence. The platoons set up a perimeter as SuperBullets bombed enemy positions. With no formal government these soldiers were no better trained than the average civilian. They were numerous and brave, yet useless.

The second planet would fall very soon. With it Largent would have two more outpost planets surrounding its main planet.

"Admiral Swanton?" a crew man called

"What is it?"

"Long Distance Surveilance Equiptment has picked up incoming ships. Are there back up ships coming from Largents capital?"

"No. Send a message to the Emperor that all outpost should have a defensive perimeter set up. Also, send a message to Largentian Europia that they should be watching the skies as well. Our actions can be considered unjust so I will take every precaution. How is it going down there?" he asked as he gazed at the large green planet below with a far off look in his eye.

"Good, the resistance has almost been eliminated and with it will come the moral of the free region." The crewman gave the admiral a villinous grin.

To Gregore Johnston
From Emporer Johnston

Within hours the reply came. The Iron Kingdoms belonged to Largent. The fleet was ordered to return home as other ships were sent out to keep the peace.

As the ship approached Largentian territory ships from Amopia, a Largentian outpost went up to inspect it. A message was sent to the ship telling it to stop. It was unschedueled and would be inspected by customs.

Emporer Johnston smiled as he received the new that he had finally lead his great nation to conquer the solar system. He would now turn his sights to other hostile regions.

Although this was a time where he should be thinking of expansion there was a problem here at home. An unannounced ship was in Largentian territroy and was being persued by customs. He was wondering whether or not to give the order to shoot it down.

After a lot of debating with himself he decided to wait five more minutes before the craft was destroyed. He would not tolerate any problems in his plan for expansion.

The Emporer decided it was time. "Admiral, I want three fighters to tail the unidentified vessel and shoot it down. Use plasma torpedos to make sure it has no chance of escape."

Swanton sent a tansmission to the nearest carrier. He ordered three fighters with plasma torpedos to shoot down the ship. He gave the coordinates of the ship and severed the connection.

Aboard the LSF Calé Soldat three fighters were sent up.

"V-formation boys," the commander ordered as they approached the target at just under light speed. "We only have one shot at the rear of this thing. Shoot to kill."

The ships fired and six torpedos hit the rear of it. The ships saw a flash of light and pulled up as an enormous release of energy delivered a huge blow to the ship.

Threat Eliminated was the message the carrier received and passed up the chain of command.

As the remants of the ship were collected an attempt was made to identify the origin of the ship. It was determined that it came from the Federal Union. An explination is demanded!

We are in an interesting situation. We apologise for our rash actions. We will pay for the damages. We would like to know why you entered our territory unannounced though.

Weyr: This was an honest mistake on our part. No formal negotiation seems needed.
