Supreme Minister Brian Sure, and reserve Ijian Pivaja today published a report that contains ideas on how to place Random Kingdom at the cutting-edge of new technology. (Let me know if what I'm doing will result in a godmod.) They plan to, in the next few terms:


Build more universities and colleges in Random Kingdom.
Abolish tuition fees.
Give scientific institutes government backing and funding.
Increase trade with more developed nations.
Build IT links between institutes to share information.
Spend up to 10% of the administration budget on science.
Restructure the curriculum to cope with new subjects.
Convince Ajika Saya, PR minister, to increase awareness of science.

This will hopefully increase RK's capabilities to move forward, and, the government hopes, after about 6-8 terms (1 RL week = 1 RK term) Random Kingdom will have advanced enough to have become a Postmodern Age nation.

Bout damn time. I'll offer a five million to help.

Cancelled. Also, AFAIK, the government of the USN was overthrown, the south was taken over by Swedish Dominions, and the north was recently in a static RP conflict and ignored us and Present Day Comatica when we posted. In other words, no offense, but you've obviously waay behind the times.

Oh-kay. I wasn't expecting this much from the community. Also, does how fast science progresses have much to do with the economy? Because RK's is pretty much nonexistent. Of course it would matter somewhat because of fancy tools like electron microscopes etc, but...
