We bring an exclusive report for you live from the National Palace in Pretoria/Deedlitstadt where our Empress Wilhelmina, Her Majesty Napoleon VII, will present a joint statement prepared with President Gordon Lew of Upper Xen. The crowds are anxious to hear the news, and they have come out by the thousands. What will she say?"
"Wait! Here she is! She's speaking...now."
[View switches to Empress Wilhelmina. She puts on a pair of wire-rimmed glasses, and speaks]
"We the people of Dornalia have grown concerned over the actions of certain neocolonialist powers that have decided to intervene in Africa. The people of Upper Xen share our concern, and feel that these new rounds of intimidation and oppression must cease."
"This is because they constitute a threat to the security of both the Liberal Empire my great-great-grandfather Napoleon III built here in the veldtlands, the stablility of global politics, and the freedom of the native peoples of Africa."
"With every greedy bite, the dark clouds of tyranny and death slide closer to us. These clouds threaten our homes, our children, and our land with dangerous ideas about tyranny and elitism and seek to turn our Liberal Empire into a dark, perverted monstrosity."

If necessary, we will send military aid and advisors to aid any such movement, as well."

Also, the existing Xenizen installations in Dornalia, and the resources of the Dornalian military in general, will be increased. This increase will include B-52's and B-70 Valkiryes, to be stationed at undisclosed locations."

OOC: An little backgound on Wilhelmina, and her dad to get some history out of the way......
Wilhemina is descended directly from Napoleon Bonaparte in this universe, but due to some Spiritfolk, Boer, and Japanese ancestors being thrown into the mix (a Princess Sakura was actually betrothed to one of Napoleon III's sons, starting an alternate universe Xenizen-Boer War), she is part Corsican, French, Japanese, Spiritfolk and Afrikaner.
Her father, Bertrand, His Majesty Napoleon VI, was a tyrant of epic proportions, responsible for ending the Liberal Empire, restoring an old series of laws called the "Servitor Statutes," and incorporating some new laws written by conservatives in the Afrikaner Nationalist Party, birthing Apartheid in this universe. His brutal, cronyist rule led to a civil war in 1989 that led to a second Xenizen-Boer War, and his presumed death in a commando raid. His body has never been found, and there is speculation that he is still alive.
Wihelmina was responsible for restoring the Liberal Empire policy of the past Napoleons, and generally improved social conditions in Dornalia, as well as improvements in healthcare (in this universe, her strict medical policies prevented AIDS from infecting her part of Africa) and civil rights. She also coordinated the Napoleon-Ghandi Pact, which secured an independent India, and personally led a crusade against the AWB white-terrorist organization.
