Dominion of Gharm...

Underground news networks reveal increased military activity of the Dominion of Gharm (Founded by House Gharmalin), conscripts, as young as 13, have been spotted on key border bases, and numbers have been noted as increasing for the past hour.

No Gharm news networks have made anything public, under strict orders of the board of Corporations of Gharm (BCG), but underground anti-House Gharmalin networks have began mass-media releasal of information, showing Veteran Conscripts, 20 years older, have been rallyed to key locations near naval and airforce bases.

House Gharmalin, The leading Dominion's arm manufacturer, has given the following statement from the BCG...

"The movement of troops is simply to make sure no foreign threat will try to capture our fledgling nation, and its economy, we are only thinking for the good of Gharm."

No Following statements have been given.

However, Underground networks have begun to attempt to raise the Gharm public to question the BCG's words by showing photo's, 2 hours apart each, showing the disappearance of an entire armor division from a forest base...

Underground leader speaks anonymously...

"It is time, my brethern of the nation, to rise and free ourselves from the corporations that have forced their products apon us! Products that destroy us and our family values! I dare not call this nation the pitiful pile that is Dominion of Gharm, but as the nation of oppressed peoples! The underground has fought for your rights for more than a decade, and asks for your help in return to strike these corrupt moraled individuals from our tomes of history!"

Following the message, 3 Vio-tech Factories, which produce nerve agent shells used to put down revolting peoples, exploded.. The underground takes full responsibility.

In light of the situation in Gharm, ZSOG has covertly dispatched a team of eight SWaTO commandos to Gharm to better establish the meaning of these attacks.

Gharm Conscripts have no yet detected said ZSOG..

But underground continues with more statements...
"This nation is corrupt! It will take the many national fingers, of the UN palm to save us!"

The BCG has released the following statement...
"This imputent rats shall be fixed, and put back in the sewers where they belong, they are not privleged to be called citizens of Gharm!"

After the BCG's statements, the underground, which now names itself "The Nation's People" (TNP), has given photos revealing the missing tank force in a mountainous area surrounding a nomadic tribe which has eluded the Gharm sphere of influence...What is happening is yet unknown.

Does either side need any of these (http://forums2.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?p=7465154&posted=1#post7465154) units? They can be provided IF more information is given on the sides they would be fighting for/against. We have VERY reasonable rates (mostly a percent of cost of living, ammo, and fuel). But that can be discussed later. I am ready to commit troops at a moment's notice.

TNP has given word to the offering nation that it would benefit from training for insurgent forces..

The BCG has given threat to any foreign force on it's soil, with the following quote...

"They will meet the iron hand of our nation!"

Broadcaster A:"Hello, today disturbing news of the TNP's actions...House Gharmalin of the BCG has given information that TNP has detonated serveral bombs in a market of the Geo-syndrome Food Corporation, killing sixtyfive of Gharm's people, and thirteen Conscripts.."

Broadcaster B:"Gharm has released the following information.."

BCG-House Gharmalin: "This filth does not know who they are messing with! They have now started acts of treason against the corporations, and will be dealt with in force!"

Broadcaster A: "30 minutes ago, Conscripts of Houses Gharmalin and Vio-tech began nerve gas bombing of the underground's most active city.."

Broadcaster B: "The city was identified by Gharm-Conscripts, when they detected the badly hidden trail of several rebels.."

Broadcaster A: "In economic news..."

IC: Captain James Livington was Commander of the 37th SWaTO squadron, and he wasn't going to mess it up. He had just gotten a promotion from 1st Lieutenant, and this was his first mission as commander.

"Team, report."
"No contact yet commander, it seems as if the place is deserted. We came too late," sighed Petty Officer Mcshane. James understood. Their SWCC insertion craft had had engine problems in the middle of the ocean, and it had taken Mcshane four hours to repair it. But they wouldn't let that stop them. They had a job to do.
"Alright, lets move out. I want insert into that jungle over there. I saw a smoke stack it seemed like on the way in."
"Roger sir." And they moved out.

OOC: Mind if I do something with your little SWaTO's? They won't die...

Ahead of the SWaTO operatives., in a nearby village outside the Imar CityState, a battle has just ended, lined in a neat row along the street is a group of 14 TNP, each with their arms tied behind their head and ankles crossed behind them. A 15th TNP is being beaten savagely by 3 conscripts, each looks between the ages of 13 and 14..
The commander, a 17 year old veteran with a robotic sounding voice from years of augmentation calls out..

"Alright, our job is done here, execute the one's in the line, take the beaten one to the command jeep, clear the town by 2 miles and commence chemical bombings, reduce this village to nothing.."

The conscripts salute and begin systematic execution of the 14 in the line.. The 15th is dragged off on his legs to a nearby jeep 6 wheeled jeep, which rolls off, followed by 2 House Vio-tech Tanks (Type Varelon Tanks) and 2 Trucks of conscripts..

The commander's voice rings out one more time..
"Tell House Gharmalin that the "rebels" destroyed the village.. ha ha ha!"

At the same time the soldiers are leaving the village, the BCG anounces that a loyal village of the Dominion has been attacked and destroyed by Insurgents using chemical weapons.

The squadron arrived at the city and was horrified at the sight. This wasn't just war. This was slaughter. This was going to be very costly for the nation.

News today:

The Dominion of Gharm points it's finger to the other UN nations of how the insurgents rose, Gharm, loyal to the UN, expresses that some of the UN nations are zealots of elected government changes , and will stop at nothing to raise trouble in countries that do not see their way.

The Grandmaster wishes to meet with leaders or intermediaries of both sides and discuss the possibility of sending in peacekeeping troops.
