The Avadrian National News Corporation logo sits on the screen, a brief clip of patriotic music plays before cutting to the anchorman.

"The Imperial Parliament today unanimously passed the 'Kurgen Doctrine' which was proposed by former Field Marshal and current Minister of Military Affairs August Kurgen and co-authored with Field Marshal Erwin Troda. A media summary of the doctrine's major points was complied shortly after it was passed."

-Establish a solid defensive structure, protecting Avadria's coastline, as well the mouth of the Vandorin Channel with in ten years.
-Establish a Provincial Military Deployment System, in which a Provincial Marshal is assigned to each province in Avadria in order to increase the order, effectiveness, and defensive capability of the military forces stationed in each province.
-Establish an Alliance among friendly nations in the North Sea region.
-Establish a tactical defensive situation with neighboring nations in the North Sea region
-Increase Naval, Air Force, and Army production, recruiting.
-Increase mandatory service from two to five years for all men aged 18 – 25.
-Increase mandatory service from one and a half to three years for all women aged 18 - 25
-Increase Naval patrols in the North Sea
-Increase military presence on Faulklend Isles and the Royal Isles

"A major accomplishment for Minister Kurgen. The North Sea Strategic Alliance or simply NSSA for short was officially established. Leaders from around the region met in Amhurst today to finalize the agreement."

-Cut to footage of leaders shaking hands and then signing the agreement-

"Nations featured included East Toporov, Hildoa, Dankorov, and Faldreia. The NSSA, based in Amhurst is a military alliance between the member nations, which allows member nations to call for the military support of the other members in the time of crisis."

-Cut to Anchor-

"As well the NSA members are responsible for peace-keeping operations in the region."

-Cue to recent footage of the Hildoan Bereznian Conflict-

"It is predicted that the Hildoan government will be the first to call on NSSA for support in their conflict with Bereznia.

-Cut to Anchor-

"Despite the early success of the NSSA key players such as Novistrana, Gehenia, Credoa, and the Kingdoms of both Rian and Rial have refused to join. It is rumored as well that the Novistranian government is intent on forming a similar alliance to counter the NSSA however there is no official word on that."

-Cue footage of soldiers with the NSSA insignia training-

"On an unrelated note the NSSA has already begun conducting exercises along the Avadrian border as well as in Dankorov and East Toporov."

[OOC: Why is your state so gosh darn big? Everybody else is tiny in-comparison.]

OOC: It's the largest in the region. All of the other nations are NPC's that I control. Bascially Avadria is divided into smaller provinces and what not as well. It is also called the Empire of Avadria. And more will be fleshed out as the story progresses.

NSSA Coverage Special Report:
On Location In Eastern Dankorov

"I'm Cecil Habbard with ANNC News" A young, yet experienced reporter wearing glasses said into the camera. He wore a reed-green suit, somewhat similar to that of the NSSA soldiers he was standing around. As well a red armband with the ANNC logo was tied around his arm.

"Today we are on the front lines in Eastern Dankorov..." Cecil said as he walked along, the camera following, showing the soldiers in the background getting prepared.

"The situation is the same all around the nation of Dankorov as well as in other parts of the North Sea. Avadrian, Dankorovian, and other NSSA soldiers are preparing for the war games which are about to begin."

Cecil stepped to the side so the camera could see the soldiers. They were standing near a Panzer Mk. 7 painted NSSA Blue-Gray. The crews were wearing similar colored uniforms, as were some of the infantrymen; however all of the Avadrians could be spotted in their reed-green uniforms. They had yet to adopt the NSSA colors.

“As you can tell, no Avadrian soldier is wearing his DCS gear today, in part because they won’t be needing it and we of course don’t want our allies to be jealous” He said with a ginning laugh. ”Just a little something for the patriots…” Cecil thought after he included the line.

“We’ll have more from the front as the story develops… back to you Alexandra.” Cecil said, signing off for the time being.

“Thank you Cecil…” The anchorwoman said as she shuffled her papers. “In other news today, the Hildoan government has already called upon NSSA soldiers to assist them in the conflict with Bereznia. NSSA soldiers based in East Toporov and Hildoa are being sent in to assist.

August Kurgen turned his television off, a grin spreading across his face. He walked back over to his chair and took a seat, pouring himself a glass of scotch from the bottle on the side table. August closed his eyes, the grin never leaving his face, as he thought about what was soon to come. He knew Rian and Rial would join the NSSA, as well as everything else just south of Bereznia. Sure Novistrana would counter with their own alliance; August saw that when he formulated the operation, but he knew it would be Avadria that would come out on top. He knew he couldn’t be wrong.

(OOC: I know I'm jumping around with the passage of time, but bear with me)

-One Hour Later-

ANNC News

"Just moments ago, the it was publically announced that the Organization for the Defense of the Northern Sea, or ODNS, was offically formed. The Organization, headed by the Novistranian government appears to have been formed in response to the Avadrian led, North Sea Strategic Alliance.

The founding nations include Novistrana, Nosdrei, Gehenia, and the kingdoms of both Alnas and Faltheia. As well Breznia has joined the ODNS and presumably will be calling for support from the ODNS to help combat the NSSA forces soon to be deployed in the region.

It is the fear of people all through out the region that the international involvment in the Hildoan-Bereznian Conflict could cause the fighting to escalate throughout the region.
