Admiral Damien Taine stood on the bridge of his SSD, a fleet of 15 StarDestroyers and 25 Dreadnaughts were arrayed around it. The fleet was preparing to leave the Echo Papa system for Lucida, the final Mariemean held system, where thy would engage in battle with a battered fleet and finish off the Mariemean Federation and annex them. But this seemingly simple task would have been much harder had it not been for the man beside him. Admiral John showalter formerly the Mariemean Admiral, he had been given 10,000,000,000 credits to betray his people. Because of him the Mariemean fleet had been lured into a trap at Acrux A, and a massacre at Achenar.

Intelligence reports also indicated that after they defaeated the fleet there were 10 Fortresses on the planet but it was expected after the fleet was defeated all but one would surrender, that one had a force of 125,000 soldiers and 120 jedi, and was going to be tken by ground assualt. Which was why his ship had many Sith Warriors and Seekers on it. He had asked the Sith Overlord Darth Revan why he couldn't just bombard it from orbit and the lord told him his Sith Warriors needed to fight against the Jedi and some might survive a bombardment. Taine looked to the navigator and gave the order for departure and the fleet departed into hyperspace.

Mariemean Grand Admiral Cody Pone was on the bridge of the Hectate destoryer Ultima looking out the window of the bridge at the paltry fleet assembeld in the system the 2 Orion, and 2 Orion MKII class destroyers, there were also 2 Iroquios class battleships and 10 Ticonderoga cruisers he knew this wouldn't be enough to stop the Ekardian fleet that would soon be attacking them. The main defense would be the Asgard spacestation along with the 35 Death Cannons 20 Mjolnirs and 10 Harbinger cannons, each with 2 Harbinger bombs each. All he could do was wait, sit and wait....

Taine looked out the veiwport as the fleet exited hyperspace he gazed at the assembeld fleet and began to strategize, the harbinger cannons, the station and the Orion mk 2's would provide the most resistance.
"Fire missiles at the sentry cannons, make sure you get rid of the harbinger cannons, have the dreadnoughts focus there fire power on the Asgard station, the star destroyers are to fire on the Orions, iroquois, and the hectate, i want all of our cannons to fire on the MK 2's. Release the fighters they are to attack what sentries remain after the missile salvo, and the Asgard."
"Aye, sir."

Pone watched in horror as missiles streaked to the harbingercannons.
"Havve the cannons fire at will, release the fighters, and prepare to counter fire.'
As the cannons began to fire there powerful bombs the torpedos arrived slamming into them, 6 were destroyed 3 were able to fire the other was disabled, teh enemy fire hit the ships destroying one ticonderoga, and disabling another. The MK 2's and Iroqois began to fire at the SD's, botth Iroquois launching all three harbingers. It had begun.

OOC Due to the fact that Mariemea and I haven't been posting on this we have discussed the outcome OOCly and here is the outcome.
His fleet surrenders and so do the fortifications on his planet, a treaty is signed in which includes all his people becoming citizens of Ekardia, and the fleet is under my control.
