Whilst Takha was in a High Council meeting, Mikhayl arranged to bring his top troops together. Alot had happened to these people over their lives and he intended to restore everything they had worked for. He intended to revive the Liberal Socialist ideals that had made the old nation of Coldorra great and he was going to do it without the help of the Independent Wiccans.
Mikhayl had previously been the leader of the nation of Coldorra, many years before. Now he was the leader of a paramilitary group which engaged in covert warfare against oppressive regimes. High Priest Takha of the People's Republic of Independent Wiccans had provided him with safety in his country in exchange for their help in policing the state, keeping terrorists of all denominations from harming innocent people.
Mikhayl now sat around his board room with his top officers. "We have 400 of the best troops in the world, trained to be the best of Old Coldorra when it was over a billion strong. We have 20 helicopters and we have 20 tanks, albeit light ones. We can succeed in this mission." he began.
His plan was subtle. The region of Dave in which The People's Republic of Independent Wiccans was situated had one very small, very messed up little nation. It's name was The Grand State of NPCs. The Grand State of NPCs had been torn into civil war between socialist and fascist elements. The socialists looked like they were soon to win and so Mikhayl ordered his officers that now was the time to strike.
They would join the side of the Socialist NPC party, where they could use their political experience to create a new democratic party in which Mikhayl could be the new leader. He just hoped Takha wouldn't send the Arbitration Force after him.

"General, you have my ear... use this time to careful word your proposition"
The God Emperor Salvos the 106th was hearing out the plea of his foremost General, Jason Solin.
Jason Solin has had a proud military career, he served the 105th God Emperor during the civil war over the outlawing of Christianity and lead the armies of the God Emperor to crushing victories over the opposition who agressively tried to get rid of the Royal Lineage.
"Your Excellency, we have reason to believe that The Grand State of NPCs is ripe for our newest and greatest weapons technology... I wish to have the equipment tested and the results gathered at the expense of the The Grand State of NPCs army and population.
In the past we have barely tolerated The Grand State of NPCs antics since they have been not worth while to notice but we have new reason to believe that they have acquired sufficient money to begin a full scale war with us.
I am suggesting we stop them before they can even start and wipe them and their people from the face of this planet, the advantage of this is that we will gain more natural resources and space for our country.
I leave it in your most wise wisdom your Excellency"
Salvos pondered, it would be good to gain such material advantages and this would further his most holy cause but if things went sour it could have serious repucussions.
'ahhhh to heck with it, we can always airstrike the entire place if things go wrong'
"Rise General Jason Solin, Go forth and lead our armies to victory like you did before! I assign the Praetorian Guard unit for the usage of this endeavour.
Bring me back the results of success!"
Jason Solin bowed and left, he eyed Setsuna warily... he knew she had something to do with this, but then again if Setsuna didnt have her little claws into something... it was pretty rare or obscure.
Setsuna walked towards Salvos and bowed, he motioned for her to speak.
"Arent you demanding a little much from him? the Praetorian Guard is only 200 men strong..."
Salvos shrugged
"If my faith in him is anything like my fathers, I know he will succeed but it is always wise to test people so that was the purpose I allowed for your little plan to happen Setsuna..."
Setsuna gave Salvos a wry look.
"I know you dislike him but he has his uses... as do you, now go... back to work with you!"
Setsuna decided it would be a good time to leave and not argue her case.
Salvos just smiled in a strangely disturbing way
"Setsuna, Setsuna... what will I do with you? your getting too manipulative for your own good."
with that he turned his attention to the video screen and watched TV, he had enough to deal with already.

Messages, delegations and orders sent ahead of time, the twenty Aérospatiale Super Puma Transport Helicopters thundered over the mountains, brushing back trees on the NPC border. Inside this armada were four hundred of the finest troops in the Dave region, as well as twenty Wiesel Armoured Recon Tanks which rocked underneath the straining helicopters in the breeze.
It had been two hours since they entered the country when they saw the first action. An SA-8 'Gaskin' Surface to Air missile streaked through the sky and slammed into the side of one of the uncrewed tanks, buckling it's hull and causing the support to snap. The tank plunged into the lake below as the pilot of the Puma diverted his course clear.
Mikhayl unslung his AR-18 and fired from the door of the helicopter. One shot took out the gunner, but the driver of the platform from which has fired the missile was too well covered and managed to drive his vehicle out of range of the choppers which continued on course. Mikhayl's shell dropped out of the helicopter and clanged on the tank below.
"We're approaching the drop zone!" the pilot shouted to Mikhayl. "Roger that" Mikhayl replied, putting his rifle away again. "Guys, hold your fire until you get a firm ID on the enemy forces. All socialist troops will have green armbands in this region for our benefit, but some might take them off for five minutes. We're making an urban insertion so watch out for innocent civilians too!" he added.
They flew over the one story slums before they reached the friendly bunker proudly displaying a solid green flag. Mikhayl was the first to leave the helicopter, rappelling down onto the tank and hopping onto the ground. He ran to a nearby building as the tank was detached and ordered the rest of his troops down. His group of twenty was to act as a screening force for the other three-hundred and eighty which remained outside the city limits awaiting Mikhayl's orders.
Once everyone was ready, Mikhayl approached the bunker where he had agreed to meet their allies. He found no greeting however and the streets were pretty much deserted. Mikhayl knocked on the main doors casually, wondering if they had holed themselves up in the bunker for some reason. He was greeted with a cry of "Socialist dog!". He quickly ducked to the ground and shuffled away as bullets blasted through the thick wooden doors.
Drawing his pistol he used hand signals to move his troops into position safely, two of them hopping inside the light tank to provide firing support and breaching entry. "Go" Mikhayl spoke into his radio. A 20-mm shell blasted upon impact with the door, causing shards of thick oak wood to scatter across the concrete steps and leaving Mikhayl a clear shot inside. He took it and so did his troops. Well in-cover, fighting lightly armed and untrained paramilitary troops, Mikhayl's troops has little trouble clearing out the room, with Mikhayl claiming two kills to himself.
"This is Mikhayl, the city has been lost to Pro-Fascist forces, repeat, drop zone is hot. The mission is still go, I repeat go." Mikhayl ordered as his team proceeded into the bunker. Overhead they could hear two of the Pumas dropping their precious payload into the city.

"This is Julian, all forces have been deployed safely." said Mikhayl's top officer over the radio.
All the groups had congregated in the bunker, which Mikhayl's team had quickly cleared out.
"Enemies outside!" shouted one of the soldiers, who fired a few shots outside the windows of the bunker. Mikhayl aided him and soon the whole team had set up positions in the bunker, firing on a wrecked truck which had about two squad of soliders behind it.
"Die Fascist scum!" one of the troopers behind the truck shouted, throwing a fragmentation grenade at the bunker. All the soldiers ducked instinctively except one, who took a shard to the forehead and collapsed lifeless on the floor. Mikhayl left the man for dead and shouted out of the window. "Friendlies! We are SOCIALIST!" he shouted. Both sides stopped firing but neither came out.
"You lie! We saw you take our bunker!" the man said. "We captured the bunker from Fascist forces!" Mikhayl tried to explain. Then he thought of an idea. "Julian," he whispered "bring in the Wiesel tanks." he said. The tanks had been parked at a local petrol station with their crews resting and maintaining their vehicles. On Julian's order they joined Mikhayl's forces at the bunker.
"Even if we are Fascist, you are totally outgunned! We formally request your surrender."
Nothing was heard for several minutes, then the troops came out with their hands above their heads. As they walked up to Mikhayl he gestured from them to lower them. "We are friends, now can we get on with killing these scum?" Mikhayl asked. The front man nodded. "I could not be sure. Fascist forces used that trick on our leader's team a few hours ago and we lost our beloved leader." the man said.
'Superb.' thought Mikhayl. "I'm taking charge for now, since I've got the best leadership skills it seems... prudent for now." he stated. After several hours of planning in the bunker, his teams set out to clear the entire city. Aided by the tanks and using the helicopters as spotters, they managed it with only three losses, although one of the tank was heavily damaged by a grenade from an un-sure civilian who thought they were invaders. On the way they met up with around fifty like-minded soldiers.
Mikhayl then made a trip to the national broadcast station which Julian's team had secured.
"People of the Grand State of NPCs, we request your aid. The Fascist forces have begun reprisals on loyal elements of the previous government. We have recaptured the city of 'Computerville' and are now preparing to move on the capital. We know that with our aid and yours we can bring this war to an end and return to a peaceful democratic Socialist system.

Mikhayl's men held the city. Having taken four losses, their forces now totalling 396 men, including tank crews of which only one of the vehicles had been lost prior to the engament. The helicopter had landed near the bunker and were being protected by one of the teams. The addition of approximately 300 Socialist troops in the city under Mikhayl's command gave him added weight with which to carry out the operation.
One hour from now, 377 of the Coldorran Armed Forces and a hundred of the Socialist troops would insert into the capital. The deployment would be on foot, with all the Wiesels providing fire support. Mikhayl and Julian were taking a well deserved break in the compound when the cry for aid came through.
"This is group five, we're taking fire!" Clough, group five's leader, shouted over the radio. "We're facing approximately... fifty troops, armed with AK-74s, deploying from BMP-2s. Requesting..." and at that moment contact was cut.
Mikhayl jumped up and called everyone to clear the bunker. The sixty or so men in the bunker ran out speedily and followed Mikhayl. Commands were being screamed as Mikhayl met up with a group of twenty Socialist troops.
Five minutes later they approached the position where group five should have been. Mikhayl signalled for the team to move to a halt. He then whispered to Julian, "Split the group into four groups of twenty troops, five of them our allies." Another few minutes and they were ready.
Mikhayl's group moved past a wrecked Wiesel and then past a flaming BMP-2. Next, Julian saw a group of bodies. Knives had been used, blood was everywhere and even the hardiest of the Coldorran soldiers took an extra breath, except Mikhayl.
Mikhayl scavenged an RPG from one of the bodies and clipped it to his armour. "Lets go" he said, following the trail of destruction that litted the cities. He walked forward twenty paces before the shooting started. 7.62-mm bullets skidded across the floor into the leg of the soldier beside Julian and the man dropped to the ground screaming. Mikhayl dragged him behind a nearby pillar and signalled over his team's medic who ducked under a hail of fire to reach him.
Mikhayl raised his AR-18 and returned the fire as his men scattered and found cover with which to return the fire. Despite the fact the shots were only coming from around twenty men, they were clearly army regulars and were decent rivals for the Coldorran Armed Forces. The Socialist troops however, were getting cut down and had lost four men. "Get into cover! Cover first, killing later" Mikhayl ordered, continuing to fire into the crowd. Two of his bullets slammed into the chest of one of the troops who merely stepped back. He tried to fire back but Mikhayl fired another two directed into his forehead. The man dropped instantly. "Body armour.." Mikhayl said, grimacing.
It took ten more minutes to eliminate the Fascist troops, who were well entrenched. Mikhayl had lost six of his own men and eight of the Socialists had died. Mikhayl sighed inwardly. "Pack up guys... you have an extra hour to prepare for the big assault." he said after the fighting had stopped. Some of the soldiers gave him stares of disbelief but he ignored them. Mikhayl instead found a building, crouched down and re-organised the assault over the radio. He would not fail.

A lone figure stood at the 50. Calibre chain-gun turret on top of the armoured hovercraft that was en-route to the rendezvous point at the port of ‘Trade-land!’
In 30 more minutes the 3 armoured hovercrafts would deploy their total cargo of 200 Special Forces and 3 Ikaz Light Battle Tanks, they would liquidate the population and army occupying the city.
The figure in question was the squad leader of the initial contact group, Karin Lin.
She was pondering the ethics and morality of her mission, even though she shouldn’t be doing so… she knew these people had nothing against her yet she had to order her squad to kill each and every person other than their own forces.
“We will be arriving in 10 minutes! Strap yourselves and pray to your gods people because it’s going to be rough!”
She went down into the hold where her squad was situated, most where laid back and leaning against the Ikaz LBT they had onboard.
“Men! We are arriving; you heard the dumb pilot, buckle up and pray!”
And so they scurried like ants, grabbing hold of poles and such brace for the imminent impact, they weren’t disappointed.
The craft shook violently and the sounds of gunfire could be heard outside, unfazed as the door opened as a line they walked out. Bullets bounced off the next generation body armour they wore, if it was a proper assault rifle or high calibre pistol they’d be worried but this puny place barely had a gun between them so the only effect was the kinetic force of the bullets hitting them and forcing them back slightly.
Karin’s unit opened fire back in turn, their ‘Grand’ rifles they had purchased from the Independent Wiccans sending a storm of high powered rounds in the general direction of the opposing force.
The next generation body armour of the TGK was designed with the thoughts of having a high mobility force immune to most biological agents, decent armour to normal weapons and good built in communication, and hence it had a microphone built into the helmet.
“Cover the ‘Cleanser’ users till they get close!”
Cleansers where the TGKs most advanced flamethrower, it was a canister fed light portable one that spread napalm death over a wide area in a short amount of time, ideal for fortified installations and people hiding behind objects.
Sadly even though it’s a great weapon it’s very easy to deal with…
One of the stray bullets hit the canister on one of the Cleansers sending it up in flames, while the body armour protected the user mostly, being set on fire is rather distressing and so they ran about like a fool till Karin shot them in the leg and kicked them around (forced stop, drop and roll on the ground to Karin)
“Hey! Ikaz you wimps lend us some firepower here!”
The Ikaz LBT is the light tank of the TGK, armed with a light SAM and 90mm Cannon, it is the ideal scout or civilian suppression weapon and it shows its ability here by blasting the opposition’s cover and the people behind it into small pieces with a APAP (Armour Piercing Anti-Personnel) shell which where designed to destroy the cover and the people behind it.
Karin smiled a disturbing smile if it wasn’t covered by the helmet she wore, she had successfully secured the landing point and only had to hold it for three more minutes till the rest of the hovercrafts arrived.
A few hours and quite a few civilian causalities later Trade land was in the control of the TGK.
Total losses TGK: 12 (+8 Wounded) Fascists: 22 (+300 Civilians)
>few hours later<
Karin’s unit was sent out as the advanced scout unit to the capital of the state, she didn’t complain, better than being in the place you slaughtered hundreds in.
Men, Women, Children, she didn’t care and the orders didn’t either.
To her, this was a field exercise and a test to prove her worth, if she did well she would get a nice cushy desk job at the tactical section of the armed forces, so it was an incentive to do well and not question the orders.
They had grouped several miles outside the capital at a Petrol station, oddly it looked like there had been someone here already but she wasn’t bothered, it wasn’t here now so it wasn’t her problem… yet.
Though the next generation body armour was great, Karin wasn’t fond of it… sometimes she found it hard to breathe when there was a lot going on, she blamed it to claustrophobia and hyperventilation.
Karin removed the helmet, her light green hair swaying in the wind as she took in several deep breaths to rid herself of the unsettling feeling she was getting.
“Karin? You okay?”
The voice of a young woman spoke, her voice filled with concern for her friend, in the TGK there was no gender discrimination, and you did well at your tests or you just where classed as property to be sold to the highest bidder.
“I’m fine Cassandra, just need a breather.”
Cassandra had been Karin’s friend since childhood, through thick and thin they had stuck together and helped each other. Cassandra was a short woman with blond hair where Karin was the slightly older and taller woman with light green hair.
Most of the time the pair thanked god that the next generation body armour was bulky enough to hide any gender attributes, most of the unit assumed that Karin and Cassandra where just another one of the boys and not what they truly where and that made quite a few things more easier on them.
Putting the helmet back on Karin announced to the squad her orders.
“We’re moving out! We’ll scout out the western entrance to the capital!”

Mikhayl's assault went ahead as planned, though very slightly under what had been expected, it was still a mighty force. The nineteen Wiesel tanks led the way forward, with Mikhayl's troops slightly behind and the relatively untrained Socialist units behind them. Mikhayl was at the front with the tanks, surveying the city as they approached it.
Julian was temporarily in charge of the Socialist troops and was 'looking after' them as they followed Mikhayl's men. Most were teenagers with no practical firing experience. Thankfully though, their opponents were mostly in the same boat.
When they entered the capital Mikhayl pulled the Wiesels back and his troops led the way. For the first half of a mile they found nothing but scared civilians and a bunch of abandoned/shot out vehicles. However, when they approached the city park, they found a firefight already in progress.
Hundreds of Fascist militia, armed with AK-47s and RPGs, had pinned down a group of Socialist soldiers. The soldiers were clearly former militia, as they had high-quality Galil rifles and were wearing heavy kevlar body armour. The ten of them seemed to be holding of swathes of them, but one had evidently fallen to the oncoming shells. Mikhayl immediately his own men to occupy the buildings nearby, all of them quickly moved to positions where they could shoot out the Fascist militia.
Mikhayl himself had shot down five before a group of around ten Socialist militia charged forward and were knocked flat by a single RPG. The rest scattered in fear, effectively pinning themselves down and placing themselves in ineffectual positions. The fight began to turn and Mikhay's troops were hard pushed to do all the work themselves, even with the help of the army regulars. As the Fascist militia pushed Daimler Armoured Cars into the center of the park, the Wiesels finally arrived and within seconds the Daimlers had been down to half their number, the 20-mm cannons immobilising three of their number and leaving them stranded. Some of the Fascists used the smoking Daimlers are cover whilst others fell back.
One of the Daimlers managed to sneak by the forces and brought it's point fifty caliber machine gun down on one the buildings occupied by the Socialist militia. Four of them fell to the floor and the rest were running in fear before Mikhayl obliterated it with a grenade from the RPG-7 he had stolen. It was of little trouble for Mikhayl's men to mop up the remaining Fascists past this point. Julian managed to re-organise the Socialist militia in time for them to play a reasonable role in tearing the retreating forces to pieces. After the smoke had died down, Mikhayl suddenly realised the importance of this park. It held the city hall.

Karin’s scouting mission had gone a great success!
The western entrance to the capital had virtually no defences and was quickly secured without any form of casualties or injuries for which she was thankful for.
The main force had decided to do an aerial drop on the main building of the capital leaving her to make sure that none escaped the purging fury of her superior’s personal squad.
Her Unit had taken place of residence in a building over looking the front of the main building, this had be fairly easy to do since the building had been condemned for demolition but she had ‘persuaded’ the men to leave them be in the building, their bodies where tied up in the basement
“Great Sight to Squad Leader, Great Sight to Squad Leader… we have a fire fight outside the main building, please observe and deal with appropriately.”
The message from the aerial observer that was dropping off the squad that would solve this country’s problems buzzed on the radio, she sighed and attached the scope to her rifle and looked at the fire fight that was brewing outside, she smirked… she could probably kill half of these people before they knew what was going on but it wasn’t her concern until ordered it was so she would sit and watch the show for now.
A few scant minutes later the defending force had been overran and the other force was milling about as if waiting for further orders, zooming the electronic scope to its maximum limit she tried to make out who these people where and then tell the aerial drop unit the situation.
She tried every single method she knew of identifying them so in the end she assume they where just some form of militia, namely target practice.
The 'Grand' assault rifle was a work of art in its functionality, a good weapon to have and she was happy that her country had purchased them since it had stopped a heap of problems arising over the usage of the old rifles they used.
She rested against the windowsill and aimed carefully, one of them was seeming to be giving orders of some sort, she'd shoot him first... 'remove the head and the snake is useless' as they say.
Karin isnt the most lethal of snipers... she is a scout trooper not a sniper and thus her way is: "Shoot it, Shoot it senseless, if it still moves.... shoot it some more!"
So she has little experience in doing it, therefore she didnt take into account windchange, angle, distance and other such variables.
She fired, the unsilenced shot ringing around the buildings creating an echo almost, to her dismay the shot hadnt killed her target, knocked to the floor but failed to do any serious damage as she had hoped.
Ducking behind the wall, she waited for their move....

Mikhayl saw the light reflect off the tip of sniper's rifle as the 5.56mm bullet slammed into chest. He fell to the ground, thankful for his kevlar as his back armour scrapped along the floor.
Everyone dived into cover and some of the militia fired wild shots, hoping to coax someone out.
"1 o' clock!" Mikhayl shouted, pelting the building where the shot had been fired from. Suddenly the scene lit up with fire. Men in full body armour spread out around the buildings on the opposite side of the park.
'Hang on a minute...' Mikhayl thought '...those aren't NPC...' when a bullet sliced past his ear and made him duck behind cover. He poked his head over and confirmed his fears, they had Grand assault rifles (http://www.rushyo.com/ns/quickwiki/index.php?s=grand_rifle). Independent Wiccan troops maybe?... yet they had no religious markings.
"Hold your fire and take cover!" Mikhayl shouted, just as one of the Coldorran tanks fired a shell into the city hall, knocking five of the enemy troops flat to the ground.

‘Sir, we have reports of large battles taking place between the fascist and socialist groups within the Grand State of NPC’s’, Johnson reported to Chairman Clark as he saluted.
‘Honourable members of the Council, I must attend to urgent matters that have come to my attention. We shall meet as planned tomorrow.’ Clark deactivated the viewscreen.
‘At ease, Johnson. Now, tell me all the information that Intel has on the situation.’
‘Sir, all the information we have at present is that the loyal fascist elements of the populous of the Grand State are, as we speak, waging a guerrilla war against the illegitimate Socialist government, who are oppressing the general population of the Grand State.’
‘This would be a good chance for our new Fascist Grand Army to flex its muscles and to liberate the Grand State’ Clark thought. ‘Johnson, tell General Hox to ready the Grand Army, and to move it towards the Fascist/Grand State border. We’re going to help our Fascist brothers in the liberation of their nation.’
‘Sir, one more thing, there are reports of the known terrorist Mikhayl, who is a corrupt Socialist, taking part in the fighting, and he has some of his best trained fanatics with him.’
‘We need not worry about that socialist fool, Johnson. Our armies will march over his followers, and his false lying tongue will be cut out before we let him die.’
‘Yes sir. As you command.’ Johnson saluted, and walked out of the Chairman’s private quarters, his orders clear.
Chairman Devin Clark leant back in his chair, and a sly smile appeared across his face.

General Hox stuck his head through the hatch of the lead Nature Mk II tank, and took in the view of the fields in front of the lead elements of the Fascist Nationalist Grand Army.
He lifted up his comm unit and issued his orders. 'Battlegroup Delta Omega, move to left flanking positions. Battlegroup Gamma Alpha, you move to the right. Group Beta Kappa, follow me.'
The Grand Army spread across the horizon, and came to a stop.
'Sir, this is 5th Scout Squadron, we have visual on the capital city. It is 10 miles across the border, and intel shows large scale battles happening all over the city.' This came from the General's comm unit.
'Does Intel know who is winning?' Hox replied.
'At present, it looks as if the Socialist forces are pushing our fascist brothers back towards the City Hall.'
'Ok,' Hox said, 'All forces, cross the border and head at full speed towards the capital. We must arrive in time to turn the tide. General Hox, out.'
The Army's advance resumed, and the General's tank rolled over a sign saying 'Welcome to the Grand State. Have a Nice Day'.

Karin cringed in sympathy, not that anyone saw it under the helmet.
She almost felt sorry for those just hit by that attack, least it wasnt her and she intended to keep it that way.
Unbuckling the tube from her back and lifting it to her shoulder she primed the disposable anti-tank launcher, she fired. the shot it hit just underneath the tank but since it was a Recon Tank it capsized it and removed it from the fight, a few shots screamed by her head made her realize they have guns as well... enough to pose a problem anyway, she watched as one of her troops stood to shoot and got peppered with rounds... they wouldnt be getting up anytime soon.
"Andrews! come to me and bring the 'buzz launcher'"
The 'Buzz Launcher' was a anti-infantry weapon, it was a Rocket Propelled Stilleto Grenade Launcher... namely it fired a grenade at high speeds that sent out hundreds of darts when it exploded.
She waited patiently as the rounds went over her head but grew annoyed somewhat when Andrews got a bullet to the head, she sighed... dejectedly and annoyed, she crawled towards him and pulled off the Buzz Launcher which looked like a large one shot rifle, checking it she determined it was loaded and smiled, she pointed it over the cover and fired it haphazardly... no chance of her risk getting hit.
As the name implies the round made a buzz-buzz sound as it went airborn then exploded unspectacularly sending hundreds of needle like fragments down below... seems it forced them to duck and cover at least.
"Advance while they are pinned! Go Go Go!!!!!!!!"
Her unit flooded out of their hiding places, advancing in a methodically slow pace firing all the way, such is the way of TGK army soldiers... it demoralized and suppressed most other forces anyway.
What Karin hadnt counted on was that the soldiers she faced where FAR better than she reckoned to be, she had bearly gotten twelve yards forward when she got knocked by several rifle rounds to the chest... she watched as the rest of her soldiers got cut down by the opposing army's firepower.
She prayed to whatever deities that she would survive, before she lost consciousness that is.
