In a surprisingly hypocritical move by the Vatican, the Pope has excommunicated Premier Linden Rathan. Premier Rathan does not appear impacted by the ecclesiastical action.
Premier Rathan has long been under accusations by the international community for suppressing the Soviet people's desires for more control of their own political aspirations. Rathan has insofar been unavailable for comment, but the Soviet Information Minister is as always open to revealing nothing about everything.
The latest move by Premier Rathan to suppress an uprising in Muniz with SIN Enforcers has protesters worldwide at the gates of Caldaron's embassies.
The secularity trend is expected to continue, as is the totalitarian government. The economy while suffering from the internal conflicts is still an international Powerhouse (OOC: still cant wont go any higher, so decided to RP it) and is expected to suffer little if any as the result of the discontent.
