Announcement from Lasatanian Foreign Ministry:

As a middle sized nation with one additional territory, making a combined population of 1.9bn, Lasatania is looking for strategic partners willing to combine arms and spread Socialism. A meeting shall be held in the Lasatanian capital, Korova, in the near future.

Any nation wishing to form an alliance, or support our cause should make their attentions known in this thread.

The Armed Republic of Haven is interested in becoming an ally. We would be interested in a meeting to see if we could work something out.

Official Announcement from Lasatanian Foreign Ministry:

The People's Democratic Republic of Lasatania would like to invite all interested nations in attending a meeting in our nation's capital, Korova, on November 20th to discuss the formation of a new strategic alliance. The provisional title of this alliance is The Korova Pact.

The aims of the alliance are as follows:

1) For member states to provide forces required when necessary for the defence of member states in the face of imperialist aggression.

2) To intervene in conflicts, where states call upon the assistance of Pact forces.

3) To further the reach of Socialism by confronting imperialist aggression head on, whether it be through the defence of third nations or by pre-empitive action.

4) To foster an understanding among member nations of our common goals and to assemble to discuss methods in which these goals can be attained.

5) To develop economic and trade networks among member nations in order to strengthen our economies and look towards the possibility in the future of trading as a single bloc.

6) To act as a forum for political discussion and the development of a modern form of Socialism.


All interested nations wishing to attend should declare their interest at the soonest possible point in time.

The Socialist Republic of Psov, offer's military and financial partnership with Lasatania, and urges others to do the same.

OOC: Prob what'll do is have a brief RP one Saturday morning to draft the constitution of the Pact... more on that soon, one i get an idea of response etc..

The government of Red Wales regrets to inform Lasatania that due to the backbenchers revolting, the motion of joining this pact was defeated, however we are willing to trade with you, and establish an embassy in your country and invite you to do likewise.
