The Warp Wars (Closed RP)

The Metallinautian fleet was at the front of the simply enormus vessel. The ship alone created enough gravity to drag the mighty Odin[i/] into it. The ship was many mellenia old. By the Metallinautian sensors reckoning it was atleast 400,000 years old. Yet the looks and technology it sported was atleast 1,000 years ahead of both the Metallinauts and Torontonians. some of the smaller Metallinautian vessels hailed neighnoring Torontonian vessels to see if they knew more than them. Unusually Admiral Maxwell had stonewalled all information.

"Comm open to the Eldarian Craftworld." said Maxwell.

"Aye, Channel open sir." said a very young cadet.

The viewscreen flashed to a very elaborate room. There was a stunning woman with elaborate jewelry and paintings on her. "Greetings, it has been many years since we have had contact from the Eldar. What makes you come in an hour such as this" Maxwell inquired. He was glad that the Eldar had come to their aid.

In a very deep and sultry voice the woman replied, "We come in the hour of greatest need. Darknedd has festered in the Warp. Even into isolated areas of the web way. It is a force that neither the Metallinautian, Torontonian or Eldarian people can face on their own. So we have come to aid you if you wish. As a sign of good faith, we managed to save your prototype vessel from the Shipyards."

"The Blade of Woe class?" Maxwell said in a stunned tone.

"Yes, we shall return it to you.' she said.

With that a huge hole opened in the bottom of the Craftworld and thee 18km long vessel gracefully glided into the Metallinautian ranks.

"Thankyou, we owe you one. Now if you will be so kind, maybe we can arrange for the Torontonians to have a face to face meeting on either one of our ships or perhaps a planet. Comm open a channel to the Torontonian High Command." he said.

"Channel is open."

"Greetings again. the situation has been fixed, as you are undoubtedly monitoring our communications would you join us aboard the new [I]Blade of Woe class? If safety is your concern, let me assure you, the Blade of Woe is capable of Destroying the Odin with no fleet support. What say you?" Maxwell said a little light heartedly.

The High Admiral sat in the Command Room, surrounded by Aides and top officials, the room was in an uproar of conversation

"They have come to obliterate us, they are just biding their time!" One voice yelled

"No, their going to help us fight whatever that thing was!" Said another

"Its going to de...." The third was cut off by the High Admiral

"Silence! I will not have my chain of command fall apart simply because a massive vessel has come into our system. We've been monitoring their communications lines, aparently these people call themselves the "Eldar" and claim to be a very ancient and advanced race. Now, I don't know whether to belive this, but all I know is that that ship is called a "Craftworld" and from what I know about ships that have the name "World" Attached to them, is that they are very important and it would be the last thing they would send in to wipe a system.
This elimates the theory of them being conquerors. Second of all, the Metallinautians seem to have contacted them before, and they seem to have some sort of connection between them.
Now, aparently the thing that attacked and destroyed the Metallinautian homeworld, came from the same area that these people are from, they are probably at war, and apparently not even they can stop them, they are looking for an alliance between the three of them to beat them back.
Also, they have asked for a meeting aboard a prototype vessel the Eldars saved, and before arguements break out, we are already going. The group will be High Admirals Berkly and Swingle, Fleet Admiral Vega, and Fleet Sub-Admiral Sayre. We're leaving post haste, so men, get your gear and meet me on Launch pad four, a shuttle will be there to pick you up.

"But Sir!" Cried A voice

"This could be a Trap" Hollerd another, but it was too late, he had already left.

The Shuttle Launched and headed outwards to the end of the system, where the Blade of Woe and Craftworld were stationed, and still blockaded.

OOC: If you haven't You should really read my last post from the Civil war thread, it might fill in some gaps, If you want I can repost it here.

OOC:I did catch it, I found it to be an excellent close
IC: "Admiral the Torontonians have asked for docking clearance." said a security officer via nueral communication.

"Excellent I am on my way, dock them at deck 44. I will be waiting for them." said Maxwell, his spirit was now in high hopes.

A few moments later the Admiral was walking briskly in the spacious shuttle bay. He stopped as the High Admiral walked out of the shuttle and met him with a firm hand shake. The Admiral was dressed in the formal Torontonian Uniform. It was very sharp. Maxwell excused himself for his tattered uniform. The once nice black uniform had blood stains, burn marks and rips. "I wouldd be honored if you would join us over a formal dinner. If you see it as a weak choice, fear not. The Eldar have a device that is acting as both a FTL inhibitor for over 3 lys and a warp inhibtor for 3 lys. It is quite amazing what they can do. The Eldarian leader is here. I have arranged for us all to meet at dinner. Now if you are going to join us I can take you to your quarters, they are the best ones in the ship." said Maxwell playing the gracious host.

-On the Fringes of the Capital System-

The Torontonian Command shuttle docked with the Metallinautian ship, which was quite massive when compared to the meagre 52 Meter Shuttle. As the airlocks connected and the atmosphere hissed into both compartments, the Command Assemby walked out and transferred on to the Other ship, they were greeted with a ragged looking Admiral Maxwell who quickly informed of his intentions to take them to dinner on the ship, and also offered to take them personally to their quarters.

"Yes, we will be staying, and we will accept your gracious offer." The High Admiral Said, then frowned "I apologise, I have yet to introduce myself, my name is High Admrial Jakobs Gourds, I have with me High Admirals James Berkly, Jessica Swingle, Fleet Admiral Chris Vega, and Fleet Sub Admiral Edmund Sayre" Gourds waved his hand over the entrage that had followed him in, all in The Traditional Green Dress Uniform, nodded in responce, each of them muttering how honoured the were to be here, although Berkly looked slightly unconfortable.

"Alright, let go to our quarters then, I am highly anticipating our meeting with these 'Eldar' they are brewing quite the controversy with their intentions back on the Capital" Gourds said.

"Excellent choice. I am glad to make all your aquaintences. I am sure that you know pretty much alll there is to know about me. As I am the one your empire has dealt with since ewe first made contact. I will now escort all of you to your quarters. Oh.. I almost forgot. The head chef told me that you all being from Terran decent most likely will not enjoy a standard Metallinautian meal so hhe said he made a Terran dish called... filet mignon I believe. He said it was a treat on earth and I look forward to trying it. I hope you all like it. If not feel free to contact the chef. He lovves to cook so all you have to do is tell him what to cook and he will gladly do it. Now, off to your quarters." he said very politely.

He led them across the vast hangar. They thn entered the complex control room full of dynamic pannels. Then they passed thorugh another bulkhead and were out in the main hallls. The carpeted floors were black and the walls and celings were and off white color with light pannels running along the top and sides of the hall. They walked for quite a bit and came to a turbo lift. The entire group fit comfortably into the elevator shaft. The cart ddid not even jolt and the door opened they had ascended over 800 decks in a fraction of a second. They were led down the halway and came to a set of doors. Maxwell gave them the access codes to their suites. Then he gave them a tour in the suite.

The inside was gorgeous filled with rare plants, exquisite tables and many pannels and work stations. The bed rooms had comfortable beds with fine linens and their own replicators. The kitchen was capable of creating magnificent meals.

"Dinner is at 1830 hours. I look forward to seeing you all there. Youu are welcome to stay onboard aslong as necessary. Here is a data pad on the lay out of the ship so you don't gete lost." he handed the llittle display to the High Admiral. "Have a nice stay" he said leavving the Admirals to their own devices.

Lord Vernay's fleet had returned from JJR, they had expected to assist ESUS forces against the AoN and its allies in the war, but the battle broke down and the enemy forces simply upped and disappeared, leading to a withdrawal of ESUS warships, and not a single shot fired by the Vernay fleet. Despite the fact that the war was continuing at the Omega Asteroid Fields with Admiral Kellar's three naval divisions, the war was low key compared to what some had expected, due in large part to preoccupation by ESUS forces with other concerns, and a lack of participation on the part of Gronde's allies, probably induced by fear of ESUS.

That left Lord Vernay with a fleet, and no battle to partake in. He couldn't attack House Halladrim, or half his fleet would turn against for betraying Veredia at a time of war. However, the VSN forces may have found an opportunity to occupy themselves.

The Explorer Corps' monitoring station had detected an immense object in allied space, so large it appeared to be some sort of craftworld, similiar to some of the stuff the AoN had.

Lord Vernay, despite objections from the VSN commanders, who said that simply dropping out of hyperspace in the middle of an ESUS system, despite the alliance, was the wrong thing to do, and that they should send a communication, decided to go ahead and simply jump in-system. Afterall, he didn't quite care for the VSN regulations, although he did have some loyalty to Veredia overall, it didn't extend to the government.

The Vernay fleet, a motley collection of pirates, mercenaries, House Vernay ships, and a contingent of VSN vessels entered hyperpsace towards the system.

The Command group was settling in to their new quarters. The Admiral had graciously made all sorts of compromises in order to accomidate them, they all felt very honoured. High Admiral Gourds looked at his watch, the signal flashed up in holographic briliance, it read 14:32, several hours before dinner was served.

Most of the members sat down to do some paperwork, or went off to bed, it had been a most interesting day, however, the high Admira didn't, he was simply too curious, at the moment he wanted to know what the Metallinautians had originally planned for their meal, among other things. He walked over to the replicators and requested a staple Metallinautian meal, and awaited for the meal to materialize. He was amazed by their technology, they had similar machines, but the food was still required to be made inside the machine, which was hooked up at a storage chamber of nutrition.

While the High Admiral was satisfying his curisiosy, High Admrial Berkly got a Video feed transmission on his personal Organiser, he accepted and the face of HCEO Morgan Appeared, The High Admiral signed, he was the last person he wanted to see right now. The Head Cheif Executive Officer was practically hte Defacto president of the Nation, and if he sought you out in person, you were in trouble.

"Berkly!" He Cried over the feed "i've gotten 12,192 Lodged messages from subsidiary companies complaining about how their shipments are being delayed between planets and systems, what is causing the hold up? Why can't the Cargo ships exit the system, everytime we try to get stuff out, TDSC picket ships stop them!"

"Sir, the problem is we have a massive ship at the fringe of the system, we don't know what their intentions are, other than they aren't violent ...yet. Anyway, its causing a disturbance on this end of the system, and its also casuing massive military movements, obviously, we don't want any civilians in the way, so we have halted Civilian traffic in the system, that includes you to Mr. Morgan." Replyed Berkly Cooly

"Alright, but this better end soon, we're loosing money in the Billions right now from delayed goods being transported! And I wanted full details on this 'Eldar' race I've been hearing about, see if you can;t get us some trade deals shall we Berkly?"

"Yessir" Berkly Replyed, and then cancelled the Video feed, he felt uneasy about hte whole operation, he barely knew who these Eldar were, and the emmissions from the ship would easily give away the location of the precious home system. Alas, he looked out one of the windows and sighed, there was nothing he could do, all he could accomplish here was sit and not make a fuss. He turned around and headed for the nearest seat.

OOC: I'm going to need the description of a Metallinautian staple meal for the High Admiral.
Metallinauts
14-11-2004, 17:15
OOC: It is a leafy green vegetable called a coromillia it looks like a flourecent green spinach with bright red frills. It also would probably have a bla'yca, a cut of a wild beast that roamed free on the plains of Metallinautia Prime prior to it's destruction. It would be a somewhat reddish purple color when done properly. Then would come the yugash a whole grain bread with savory spices int it, picture tyme, pepper, garlic and dill in a sweet whole wheat bread. Dessert would be an exotic fruit salad all the colors of the rainbow and incredibly sweet.

After a few seconds of waiting, an exotic dish appeared in the Replicator, and the High Admiral picked it up and examined it, the bright green vegetable looked the most strange, but he was willing to try new things.

He brought it into the Eating area where High Admiral Swingle looked up from her work and said "Your not going to eat that are you? It doesn't look very appetizing."

"Of course I am Jessica, you have to keep your mind open to other cutures on the expiditions!" Replyed Gourds as he placed of mouthfull of the vegetable in his mouth, he quickly wrinkled his face as the favours entered their taste recepticles
"Don't like that very much, its far too bitter for me." Stated the admiral as he proceeded to cut up the meat, and ate, which he throughly enjoyed, reminding him of the Free Ranging Squib he enjoyed back on Epsilon Prime. Finally he had the bread, which was remincent of Garlic Bread he had when he visited Earth, and finally, the dessert, which he didn't mind, but found too sweet for his taste. Once he had finished he cleaned his place, and kept in mind to comment to the Admiral on his little exploration of Metallinautian culture.

He glanced at his watch, it read 16:42, still a ways away from the dinner, so he opened his breifcase and joined the other Admirals in catching up on paperwork.

At 18:30 sharp Admiral Maxwell arrived outside the Torontonians' room. Blip Bleep went an internal sound in the room to let them know there was someone waiting at the door. The Double doors whooshsed open. Thee Admiral was now cleaned up. His one piece formal uniform was a black and two golen bars with silver leaves on them on his neck collar. He decided not to wear his medals that particular night. His young chizzled face sported a relaxed look. He had just shaved with a brandnew sonic razor that his deceased wife had bought him prior to the civil war. His jet black hair was neatly combed over to the right side.

"Hello again, I shall now escort you all to the formal dinig hall. I hope you don't mind the seclusion from the crew. As they are all eager to meet you. It is standard Metalllinautian protocol to never allow even allies on the flag ship. Yet, ouut hereI make policy andd I know the Torontonian people have the same concern for my people's well being as we have for yours. You are the ones we trust most in the ESUS. Yet enough with the chatter, I am famished as I assume you are too. Off to dinner.' he said, muuch more casual now.

They wandered the hall of the deck and cam to another turbo lift. In less than a second they had ascended to the upper most deck. He walked the delegates to a large glass door which like all the other doors, whooshed when it opened. They walked into a huge room with a what appeared to be a glass celling. The Admiral explained that it was an energy field that kept the room pressurized, but incase of an emergeny the room retracted into the hull. In the room a highly polished ebony table that was roughly 10 meters long was decorated with floowers and elegant Terran delicacies. Steam curled into the air from the warm dishes. The salads were a vibrant color and looked amazingly fresh. The Admiral motioned towards the table for the Admirals to take a seat. As they all sat down the atmosphere in the room changed. Not physcically, the whole room seemed emotionally drained at once. From around the corner came a stunning woman. She was almost 3.5 meters tall. Her skin was a beautiful porcelin color. Her hairs was so dark light did not reflect form it, and from the long silky crown that was her hair hung elaborate jewels and stones. She sat down at the table with a devine grace.

"Greetings, my name is Elnya. I am the farseer for the craftworld, Cynthwe. I wish to declare our intentions right away. We are not interested in conquest, and have little intrest in caputuring your system. If we wanted it, it would have fallen long ago. We are here to aid you and the Metallinautian people against these... demons. theye are the vile scorge of this universe. Alone we cannot defeat them. As the three of us, the still out number us 10,000 to 1. yet if we join in common goals, more will rally underneath our banner. We have fought them for over 400,000 years. I will do my best to answer any questions you might have of me." she said in a sultry voice.

The Group had sat down at the table when the Representative had walked in, as she was stunning, although freakishly tall. She had the atention of every single male in the room, of course Jessica didn't particularly care, although she was left wonder how a Bipedal body could sustain that kind of circulation, she could only wonder how large the Eldar's heart was.

After the Awe had died down, the Eldar spoke, claiming they had no aggressive intentions, and that they came to request assistance against the so-called 'Demons' that were plauging their Universe. She then opened herself to questions, which there were many.

High Admiral Berkly, got up, with a far away, glazed over look in his eyesm and addressed several questions to the Eldar, some which were not really nessisary, but were asked anyway. "Elnya, first of all, if you have been fighting the Demons for Four hundred thousand years, why have they only shown up in our space recently? Could you explain some sort of event which caused this? Secondly, Do you not Consider our defences formidable? Surely you could not have taken the homesystem without some strain, we have spent Quadrillions in funding our safety. Thir.."

"Berkly! Is that really nesisary? They did not traverse two Universes to get here just to be lectured on our defencive Capabilities, however grand!" High Admiral Swingle Growled

"Yes" Berkly Responded "As I was saying, thirdly your unexpected arrival has thrown our commercial Transports into Chaos! Several Trillions of dollars are being lost by our inablity to warp out of the system! We do have a Country to run, and Finally, how much does a Woman of your Stature need to be satisfied..." He connatated, growling suggestively

"Enough!" High Admiral Gourds Bellowed "Berkly! Get out of here, I want you off this ship Now! I also want to see a Letter of Resignation on my Desk when I get back to Headquarters, and finally, I want you imprissioned for the remainder of Our time on this ship, and when I return, I want a full and Detailed explaination on your actions at this meal!" He finished, quite Red in the face "Sayre, get this Idiot out of here, before he embarrasses us further" He Glowered as he motioned for the Sub-Admiral

The Sub-Admiral quickly got up and escorted the High Admiral out of the room, and off to the shuttle.

High Admiral Swingle went on Damage Control "You'll have to excuse my assosiates behaviour, this is very out of character for him, there has to be an explaination for it, but untill then, lets try to forget out that whole incident. I however, do have some questions for you. My Assosiates first question remains valid, If you have been fighting these Demons for so long, why did they only now apear in our space? Also, why did they destroy the Metallinautian homeworld? We appologise for sounding Ignorant, but we were only just exploring Metallinautian culture when the Civil War Broke out.
Also, how much of a commitment are you looking for? We have a generous Budget, but the populace are a very Pacifist bunch, they do not like going to war without good reason, and cannot be 'duped' into going off to blow stuff up.
Also, although we take pride in our navy, we doubt we have anything that meets to your standards, Heck, some of the Metallinautian technology still blows us away. So I don't see how much use we can offer, but I assure you, we will help out where we can.
Finally, How did you exactally get here? I wouldn't imagine traversing across multiple Universes is easy..." With that Jessica Finished and sat down, immediately after, the High Admiral Sat up, and cleared his throat.

"I would like to add to my Comrades statement, I do know what we can offer, We have one of the most widely varrying Science Facilities in the entire ESUS Alliance, what we have not put into war machines, we have put into innovative technology, given examples and time, they can come up with most likely anything, and that is now all at your disposal." The Admiral Stated, and added "Now, with that said, and the proper time for the Eldar to respond, I would like to thank our hosts for this meal, and keep in mind we now owe them one of the same. So let us sit down and enjoy the veritable feast they have set down for us" He finished, and with that he sat down, waiting for the rebuttal from the shocked gathering over Berkly's reponce, it really had taken everyone off guard.

"The Demons are not contained in the warp. They come and go as they please. This is not the first time that the Demons have attacked the Metallinautian people. The reason why they inhabit the systems they do now, is becauuuse the Demons once tried to wipe them out. I believe around Five Million survived. Under my guidance they came to the system they were residing in. It was in a secluded nebula on the far edge of the Milkyway. Yet somehow the Demons still found them. Vice President Arnold and Admiral Fraizer are the hosts of Demons. Their bodies are now shells, for their souls have literally been eaten by the Demons. To the question of how we got here we sensed Admiral Maxwell's presence along with all the good souls of the Torontonian people. So we tore through the Warp to aid you. We expect nothing of you, the choice is yours, you can join us and the Metallinauts and try to win, our face certain death, for if we can find you, so can the Demons. As to the anxious sub-admiral's questions, we can easily take your system. We have enough fire power to easily destroy you, the system, the Metallinauts and all surrounding craft in one volley. This does not include our Guardians or Psychics. To satisfy me is not of consequence, I have not engaged in sexuual congress in 17,000 years. Admiral Swingle, I beseech you allow the sub-admiral back. My psionics are probably disrupting his brain waves." Elnya said gracefully sitting in her chair. "Admiral Jessica, my heart contains eight chamber and is quite powerful." she answered her thought very aloof.

"Well, this is quite a turn of events. Now as the Terran saying goes, 'Dig In'." Maxwell said with delight. He was thourghly enjoying the Terran meal. Suddenly alarms blared. He stood up abruptly and activated his nuerals. "What the hell is going on out there?" he said buisness like.

"Sir several hundred warp signatures coming at the edge of the system!" said an alarmed enlisted man.

The Admiral turned to Elnya. "Yours?"

"No my fleet resides in the Craftworld " Elnya said calmly.

'Red Alert! All Arms to battle stations! Alert the fleet and the Torontonians. I want an exact number of contacts." the Admiral said leaving the table. He truned behind him sharply, "You may join me on the bridge if you wish. I will not send you to your ships at this point as you will suurely be killed in the process. If you accompany me to the bridge, I will give you your own resources and you may coordinate your fleet with us. I would actually be honored to fight along side you." Maxwell said.

High Admiral Gourds stood erect when he heard the alarms, almost knocking over his chair in the process, although he was safely aboard the Metallinautian system, the Capital System, whose defence he was charged with, was not.

Admiral Maxwell was contacted with information on multiple contacts in the system, and they weren't friendly. The Admiral stated that he wasn't letting them off the ship for their own safety, but he would give him resources on the bridge to help coordinate the fleet from there.

"Very well" The High Admiral sighed "Although I would prefer to be in my own Command Center, but you are correct, it is too dangerous to leave now, I will follow your lead, but hurry, it is likely the system defences have already engaged whatever's coming.

-Back At TSDC HQ, North Continent-

They have picked the worst possible time to invade! Thought Sub-Admiral Fleeting, as alarm blared around the Command Chamber. The Large crystal wall contained Holograpic images of the ships that just ripped their way into the system fringe Damn! This is the second time! We simply must calibrate the Sensors to detect whatever those Things use for FTL travel!

"Is the Grid Active?" he inquired

"Yessir, and engaging Hostiles" replyed a Subordinate "Also sir, we have word from the Conference that the High Admiral are remaining on ship and coordinating the fleet from there. We have surrendered Fleetcom. to them, we're in charge of defence right now."

"Alright, give them all we've got" Replyed the Sub-Admiral

-In Space, varrying around the system-

The Numerous parts of the system defence grid were already active from the unexpected arrival of the Craftworld, and now it was just a moment of heating them up and they were ready. The Outer ring defences engaged on sight, Powerful Laser batteries opening fire upon the invading fleet, and that was the start, the Laser batteries were also supplimented with Rail gun fire, the untested system was getting a hot proving ground, it had always been a preemtive measure, now its actually getting used in action. Also, the Sentinel Satilittes streaked in from their patrols in the system, encircling the fleet and opening fire with their sweeping laser arcs.

Also, to supplement all the activity going on, deep in system, the massive Plasma Cannon platforms opened fire, although they could only fire one round every three minutes, there were enough of them to give the effective fire rate of one round per 20 Seconds, which would hopefully be devestating to the enemy fleet, which was about to get splattered with Five Enormous Balls of superheated Plasma, which were barely contained within rapidly destabilising Magnetic Containment, even if they did not hit the target head on, hopefully the ensuing burst of the liquid would damage surrounding ships.

The Fleet blockading the Eldar craftworld broke off and moved in towards the Enemy fleet, unknowing of their intentions, they awaited orders from higher command for as long as they could.

Through it all, they all held their collective breath, for if they were anything like the last Demon ship, they would need much, much more than a Complex Defence Network and an Active Fleet...

The mixed fleet of Vernay, VSN, and mercenary ships emerged from hyperspace at the edge of the system, and found a massive firefight between hundreds of unknown vessels and system defences.

"Son of a b****!" Vernay yelled as he began barking out orders to fleet to prepare for combat.

Lord Vernay opened up a comm on all frequencies and found many of them filled with the normal chatter associated with battle and civilian ships, "Attention any ESUS forces, this is Lord Vernay of Veredia, we have come to render assistance, please respond".

The fleet assumed battle formation and fighter screens were launched as point defences came online to defend against any incoming missiles. Shields were raised and marines spread out across the ship to repel boarders, while others hopped into breaching craft to board enemy vessels if the opportunity presented itself.

-TSDC HQ, North Continent-

The Communications Center was awash with chatter on all frequencies, these voices did not phase the operators, but it wasn't like they had an overly difficult job, they just had to keep an eye out for strange anomolies in the Frequencies.

From what they could tell, the Unknown ships were still deciding what to do while they were pounded by the system defences. While in the middle of this, Yet Another Fleet warped into the system, it looked like they were caught by surprise, because the minute their presents was scanned, they were sending out frantic messages on all Frequencies, claiming to be a ESUS member, they were inquring where they needed to be directed.

After a few seconds of confirming the Factions membership, a Comm. Channel was opened up. The Senior Officer in the Comm. Center sent the responce.

"Veredian ships, although your arrival is unexpected, and under normal circumstances would be questioned, these are not normal circumstances, as of right now, you can go crazy with the Unknown ships currently being engaged by our defences. Watch out for the Crossfire however, as the Defences are indescriminate when firing on the enemy. Attached to this message is a 92 Byte Tag, please forward this to all the ships in your service, as our defences are automated, the tag will designate you as a friendly.
...Unless you want to be blown to bits by our defences." The Officer paused as he uploaded the tags onto the message, the started again "You are cleared for travel through the system, you are free to engage the enemy on your leisure, although the quicker the better. Again, try not to get damaged in the crossfire, but I'm sure your ships are maneuverable enough to avoid that. Finally, you will have five minutes after the termination of this message to add the tags, and then the defences will stop ignoring you."

With that he closed the message and hoped for the best, he was sure that when the Unknown ships retailiated, it would be deadly.

The Admiral and His Torontonian counter parts quickly strode on the bridge.

"I want a full report on the contacts from the warp. Update the Veredianson all we know on these Demons. Escort the torontonians to a private command center give them all they need. Pull the fleet into the fight. Give them hell, another system will not be destroyed. I don't care what losses we face, we have a gun, we fire!" the Admiral said valiantly.

With that the tattered fleet rushed head long into the snarling hordeof Demon vessels.

"Sir I am reading 200 Battle Cruiser sized vessels, 600 corvette to cruiser and around 1200 fighters." said a young Tactical officer.

"Any sign of that Hellish Child?" said Maxwell.

"No Sir" replied the officer.

"Good, order the fleet to fire at will" Maxwell ordered.

-In Space-
At the order of Maxwell the Metallinauts began firing on the Demons. The Smaller Demon ships were forced to evade the initial barrage. They soon swooped down on the on the Metallinatian vessels. 12 Enforcer class frigates were instantly ripped apart in the awful fire that ensued. Then a demoralizing blow came to the allied fleets, the Hellish Child appeared.

As High Admiral Gourd sat down in the section of the command center he now shared with the Metallinautians, he geared up for battle. Already the defences were engaging the enemy, and they seemed to be handling themselves very well, the enemy had not made any ground since their arrival. They seemed to have been waiting ...for something...

The it came, in the midst of the fight, a massive, and intimidating, ship appeared from warp. It was the same ship that attacked the Metallinautian homeworld, and subsequently destroyed it. That was not going to happen here, one way or another.

"Ensign, I want you to load a kill on sight tag for that ship, the one that just dropped out of warp, give them a good welcoming gift..." The High Admiral commanded

'Yessir' Replyed the Ensign

All of a sudden, the enemy fleet would have felt a great relief from defensive crossfire, that was because, the newly arrived ship just deverted the attention of the entire Defence system, due to the tag recently uploaded on it.

All of a sudden, all twelve of the Inner system Plasma cannons fired, they had been spending the majority of the battle getting onto the right side of their respected planets using low power thrusters, but that had done it, all in time to fire in syncronisity at the enemy ship that had just arrived, that was enough firepower to spread 12 Square Kilometers of Hot Plasma over the ship, nothing could survive that. In addition, the ship was being peppered with laser fire from the defensive satillites and the roving Sattlities that had converged on the ship, they wanted to make sure that the Ship that had obliterated the Metallinautian homeworld would not do the same to them.

However, the main fleet remained in conflict with the attacking one, and they were hoping for some reinforcements soon, neither side had sustained any losses, but on the Torontonian sides, back at HQ, several of the ships on the Hologram Representation of the Battle were slipping from Yellow to Red on integrity.

"SIR! HELLISH CHILD APPEARING OFF THE PORT!! THE TORONTONIANS ARE HITTING IT WITH ALL THEY HAVE, IT IS RECIEVING MILD DAMAGE AT BEST!!" screamed the young tactical officer.

"Enough, we need not fear death. We need to embrace it. No matter what they can de to us, it will not crush our spirit. No matter how many they kill, our resolve and course can never and will never falter. This system is not going to suffer the fate of ours. These people need not die as ours ddidd. Nor will the death of millions of Metallinautians go in vain. Tell the fleet as long as their weapons system still fire, keep firing! If we lose every god damned ship in the fleet so be it!" Maxwell said rising out of his chair while moving to the center of the massive bridge.

-In Space-
the Virtuous Resolve and Odin lead the charge of the Metallinauts. They pushed straight into the tangled Demon fleet. The Odin and Virtuous Resolve each had all arcs firing. They destroyed a combined total of 23 Battle ships and 1000 fighters.

The Odin moved an attack pattern onto the Hellish Child. The Odin poured 1,00 Exawatts and 75 Petatonnes of destruction into the ship. Yet She did not falter. In an amazing sign of agility, the Hellsih Child reared forward and blasted the Odin with the same weapons that killed Metalllinautia Prime. All the shields and armor instantly failed and were literally atomized. she bulged and blew to pieces. Thankfully the two 40,000 Kg Anti-Matter warheadsd were stable through the expolsion and FTLed right before detonating with 4 Yottotonnes of force.

-on the Bridge-
The Crew stood in awe as they saw what transpired. The second best ship in the fleet atomized in one shot.

After the fleet received the tag from the allied command, they immediately put them onto their ships to avoid being shot at by the system defences. That was when the [immense warship appeared.

"Mercenary units, engage their fleet and provide screening for the Vernay ships and VSN fleet. Vernay and VSN ships, concentrate fire on that massive ship that the defences are firing on." Lord Vernay ordered.

"Comms, send a message back to Veredia, calling for reinforcements!" he ordered his comm officer.

On the arrival of the Unknown Ship, and the inherient imminuity to all types of damage, the evactuation order was issued among the three planets in the system. All across the planets, people were ushered into the metropoli that dotted the continents. Once everyone was accounted for, the massive City Domes rose out of their sheathing and encapsulated the city. The Citizens would be safe inside, and they could live off reserves for 3-4 weeks, 1-2 months if rationing was inacted.

As Phase two began, the domes sank into the ground, entrenching themselves several hundred meteres below the surface, and a secondary protective dome closed over the opening, ensuring the safety of the populace.

After that, the Planetary guns came online, and they began monitoring the sky for landing craft.

-Back in Space-

The Fight raged on, neither sides were taking losses, but the Torontonian fleet was begining to show signs of stress, ships were getting down to their last few layers of detachable armour, and the guns were begining to get overheated from prolonged fire.

OOC: Metallinauts, could you please post damage for the general Demon fleet? Just so it doesn't look like my ships are randomly exploding. They have been kind of pouring direct fire onto the fleet since it arrived in the system...

The Demons began to lose the initial momentum they had. The valliant Metallinautian, Torontonian and Veredian forces had destroyd 45 Battle ships, around 170 cruisers and thousands of fighters. Though the Hellish Child moved forward to the planetary ring.

-On The Brdge-
"Admiral! Hellsish Child is now in the Planetary ring heading towards Epsilon Prime." an ensign screamed from his post.

"Fire the 40,000 Kg warhead." Maxwell instructed cooly.

"But Sir, a miss fire could kill the system." said the alarmed ensign.

"I realize. Aim for it's engines, there is no way it could be armored. It will crash through the hull and we can remote detonate the missile. Fire on my mark." said Maxwell

"Aye Sir, target locked awaiting your command." the ensign obeyed.

Maxwell Walked toward the view screen, his eyes fixed on the demon juggernaut. "Fire" he said quietly.

-In Space-
The Anti-Matter missile slid out of the tube and screamed towards the Hellish Child. it closed into 1,000 meters and then detonated. A bright blue halo radiated out from a bright blue sphere. A micro second later, the blast came a full two yottotonnes huurtled towards the civilian spheres. Then the blasted simply dispersed. out of no where came the Craftworld. It had thrown itself into the wake of the blast. It then turned it's horrible wrath on the Hellish child. 10,000 Heavy Anti-Matter Lance Cannons blasted her hull into peels. It curled and warped at the unimaginable impact.

The Demon Forces then turned on all the disabled vessels and destroyed them. With in seconds they fled. Space returned to normal. The Eldar Craftworld was nowhere to be found. Hulks of former great ships stelated in the void.

-On the Bridge-
The Admiral slumped into his chair with a sigh. He was relieved this went as well as it did. Many died, but they had one the first of a seemingly helpless war. "Summon the Torontonian Addmirals and my shuttle. I need to vvisit their High Command."

ooc:If you would so kindly take the good admiral to your high command.

Lord Vernay stood in awe and amazement after the immense explosion. Great hulks of once massive warships now drifted through the system, a portion of Vernay's fleet had been ripped apart when they had charged forth, and some had been caught in the blast as they tried to engage the massive enemy warship that appeared to be their flagship of some sort.

Lord Vernay immediately ordered status reports on his fleet which showed that a quarter of his fleet was gutted. "Comms, send a message to Veredia, tell them we require reinforcements, ask for anything they can send us" he ordered.

"Also, send a message to our allies, ask them where the nearest repair yards are so we can our vessels repaired. I think it's the least they can do, seeing as we just helped them drive off the aliens. Also, tell them to send us any information they have regarding these enemies" Vernay ordered as he sat back in his command chair.

OOC: To steal a quote from Halo....

IC: The High Admiral had been issuing orders when the incident occured, he was jolted from his chair when he heard a Metallinautian Ensign scream about destroying the system. he had listened attentivly to the whole drama as it unfolded, on personal sensors, and watched in horror as the Unknown ship closed in on the Capital planet, and then watched as the warhead detonated, unleashing a massive explosion, and consequently, the destruction of both the Unknown ship, and the Craftworld. After that, the Demons left, cut their losses and fled. It was now time to take action.

He walked up to the Admiral and looked down apon him like a Subordinate, he said "Lauching the Missle was reckless, a missfire and you could have slagged the whole system." He signed, and cracked a wry smile "Thanks, it was most likely that which bought the time for the Eldarians to save the Capital Planet, the Torontonian People owe you their thanks." He turned around and summoned his officers, and turned back to the Admiral "Now, you need to get to the high command? Certainly, I think we have good enough proof by now to prove your not a spy or into sabotage, so follow me to my shuttle and you can have your Pilot follow us back."

The High Admiral, along with his chain of command, departed for the shuttle, with the Admiral Maxwell quickly in tow. Once they had gotten to the shuttles, they departed the ship, and sparing no time, left for Epsilon Prime. They navigated the debris field of the Eldar ship and arrived at the Planet shortly after. After punching in some codes, the ships were granted clearance, and they landed at the TSDC HQ, which consisted of six buildings which were connected by a central plaza, with a statue in the middle. Although it looked simplistic, it was the apex of Torontonian Security, and as they approached they were scanned several times to confirm identity.

Once they had landed, they moved rapidly into one of the buildings to an elevator, in which they decended downward at an accelerated pace. When they had arrived at the bottom, the monitor confirmed that they were thirteen kilometers below the surface, there was a hiss as the doors opened and the pressure was adjusted to confort zones the High Admiral hoped was shared by the Metallinautians. When the stepped out of the elevator, the entourage broke off to their respected duties, with the exception of The High Admiral and Maxwell, they stayed together as a wave of aides assulted them

"Need Assistance..." One said

"Broken Connections!" Yelled another

"Citizens fearful!" Commented a Third

"...Riots Imminent" Fearfully quoted another

The High Admiral shrugged them all off, and headed to the Command Chamber, the walked down the long hallway, and arrived at a door that split open when the Cerbral Implants were scanned, they entered a room filled with large monitor screens and was dominated by a large Holographic platform which showed the entire system, including the wreckage, and detailed listings of ships and masses in the system.

"This is the heart of the TSDC, now, what can we help you with today Admiral?"

-In the Comm. Center-

The Comm. Opened by the Veredians became active again, they were asking for information and repairs, claiming they had aided them in driving off the enemies, the Leuitenant scoffed at the remark, but put on proffessional curteousy and replyed

"The Nearest shipyards to you are the Atlas Orbital Platforms, they are located on Atlas, the farthest planet from the sun, so you may dock there and we can commence the repairs on your fleet. I also regret to inform you that we have no information on the Unknown fleet at this time, we are still getting this information divulged by the Metallinautians, we will contact you again when we have more." He was about to turn off the comm. Channel when an aide came rushing in, and wispered something in his ear, the Leuitenant moved away from terminating the channel, and added "If you wish, you may send a representative to a defacto confrence being conducted on Epsilon Prime, it is to your discression on whether you come or not."

-Back in the Command Chamber-

The High Admiral was still with Maxwell, but he was also taking in a damage report from a subordinate

"...We lost twelve Bandits, six Legionnerres and four Centurians in the battle. Overall, it was an amazing defence, we took minimal casulties, and the defences preformed admirably. We also took a 30% Loss to the Sentinel fleet, and several Far Orbitals need repairs, which have already started. The Defence domes are cracking as we speak, they worked very well also, sir. However, the CFedO is Complaining over the complete suprise of it, and the damage its going to create on the Exchange, He's not happy sir, the populace won't stand for another Shivian-type conflict, especially without the ESUS backing it. He also doesn't like harbouring refugees in the system, and having its location being so widely distributed, before today, it was nestled in enigma, now two Spacefaring nations know where it is!" The Man finished

The High Admiral looked grim "Tell him that without the Metallinautians, the Eldar and the Veridians, we would not have stood a chance"

He turned back to the Admiral and said "I'm sorry you had to hear that, the Government and the TSDC don't exactally get along all that often.."

The Admiral stood at attention in the busy Command Chamber. The Commanding officer gave him a sincere apology. He accepted it unconditionally. "I understand, feel free to tell the corperations that we will return to our own space as soon as possible. I understand that they are in an up roar for fear of the demons an our presence. They need only fear the demons. Is it possible for me to speak with the CEOs? I would like to arrange a meeting with them, your chiefs of staff and the Veredians. We are all underestimating what is going on here. I also must apologize for the use of that weapon. As such I offer my fleets capabilities in recovery efforts. The Virtuous Resolve can act as a hospital for those who need it. It looked to me as if your men were really roughed up out there." he said looking around at the advanced displays and busy errand runners.

The High Admiral turned, Maxwell had made a common mistake, few people outside the country knew of the government system.

"It is possible" He said "But it would be unnessisary, you see, the CFedO isn't a Head of a Corporation, it stands for Chief Federal Officer, so with all seriousness, he is the President of Torontonias. I'll give you a brief rundown of the Government, which has solidified recently, it wasn't on very stable ground before. There is two sections of government, there is the People's Assembly, and the Corporate Assembly. In the People's assembly, which has 832 seats, from the split ridings from all over the territory, all the representatives are elected by the people via Biannual elections, there is the High Council of the Assembly, which is elected by popular vote of the assembly members, and that contains fourteen seats, two of which have to come from Epsilon Prime, in turn, that Council elects the President, who is the "Leader" of Torontonias. I say it in that way because he is not really a man of power. After the Peoples Assembly is the Corporate Assembly, which contains 120 Seats, two seats for each appointed member on the sixty top ranking Companies and Orginizations in Torontonias, and fourteen seats for the High Council. The Companies apoint their own members in their own ways, before that it is loosely organized, as long as they get a representitve through. After that, the Assembly Apoints a Executive Council, which consists of five people, between those five, plus a Majority vote from the Assembly, the CFedO is elected, although originally this council was created to voice the concerns of the All-Powerful Corporate world, they manipulated the laws and had backroom deals with People's Representives to create what we have now.

Anything can get introduced, voted, and passed in the Peoples assembly, it works as most systems do. Get enough support, plead your case, let it take its course. This keeps the populace happy. However, for anything to get implemented, it has to be ratified by the Corporate Assembly, and ultimately, it is now the CFedO's decision on whether it goes through." He finished, sighing as he said it, "This is the way it has been before I was born, and as long as the corporations are happy, everyone benifits, so as you can see, if you still want to make a statement, go strait to the CFedO."

He turned, and issued some orders, then returned

"As for the Demons, I think they spoke for themselves, I know that in using your weapon you were only trying to protect us, and I thank you for that. Also, I don't know where you got the idea of us getting bashed up, nothing the ships can't deal with, just a great deal of physical damage on instalations, so unless you have a team of engineering ships on that Behemouth of yours, you can't be of much help, although I thank you for the offer. Now, back to our original task, what did you need to come to the Command Center for?"

"I need to speak with the leader of your armed forces, your head government officials, the VEredians if they show up. We need to plead our case to the ESUS before they too fall victim. It seems to me that these demons are attacking who ever has had contact of any kind with my people..." he said his voice echoing. The room swirled around into a vortex of color. Suddenly he felt as if he was pulled backwardds through the floor. An aqua blue tunnel was pulsing all around him. the wind was whipping in his ears.

THUD!

He landed hard backwards on to a brick street. He dragged himself to his feet. Maxwell glanced around. The street lead on for a few hundred meters to a gothic looking building. The sky was a hazy purple. Grass was on the gloomy and endless landscape, but it was grey and lifeless. He limped towards the builing. He could feel hateful eyes upon him, but could see no one. He felt a sinister presence every step towards the building. His feet felt as heavy as nuetronium trying to climb the stairs. He opened the door. A bright light burned his retnas.

"You cannot run from me Klshy'a" a satanic voice bellowed.

The Admiral seemed to have blanked out for a second, and when he came back he appeared to have a state of amniesia.

"Excuse me?" The High Admiral inqiured "Where are you? Your location hasn't changed, your still in the Command Center. Now, I don't want to seem rude, but the longer you wait here, the more sensitive the information your getting exposed to. Which isn't good. Untill we establish a formal agreement outside of the ESUS regulations, this area will not be readily accessable to you. Although I'm sure we can help you cut through the red tape."

The continued to match stares with the Admiral as the action in the room continued to subside.

"Now, of course we will be able to arrange such a meeting, but it will take us some time, at least twelve hours to get everyone together. So for the time being, lets get you out of here, too much stimulation for a man who has gone through something as harrowing as you." The High Admiral finished as he lead the still dazed Maxwell out of the room, to the elevator back to ground level, and showed him to his quarters.

"These are resereved for the highest ranking officials, no expense will be spared for you, Admiral, just press this button and someone will be available to assist you."

With that the High Admiral turned and departed, quickly thinking on how to arrange the Gears and Mechanisms which drove the country to meet one such short notice.

OOC: I'll arrange this meeting the same way yours was, post-wise, I'll give you 1-2 Posts to do whatever with Maxwell (Explore, Halucenate some more, etc) Then Gourd will come back and start the meeting.

Lord Vernay had ordered his fleet to head for the repair yards, and then resigned himself to his personal quarters. He ordered the commander of the VSN forces, Commodore Kuzak, to head over to the conference, as he himself didn't really like such conferences, and considered them just a little bit below the lord of a noble house.

So, the VSS Hammer of Justice, a Light of the New Dawn class cruiser, departed for the conference.

*VSS Hammer of Justice*

Commodore Kuzak read over the casualty reports, the mercenaries had taken the most beating, as they had served as the forward screening force and wall of battle of the fleet, while the VSN and Vernay ships had pounded the demons with missiles. However, three of Kuzak's frigates, and a pair of destroyers had been destroyed, alongside a number of fighters. He had managed to rebuild his carrier complements however by sending the fighter forces from the destroyed ships to the carriers, but despite his reorganization, his two carriers were each a squadron short.

"Arrogant prick" the commodore muttered as he looked over his orders, which said in not so exact words that a joint conference was something a commoner subordinate should attend to, and report on, and not something that a noble Lord, who commanded the joint force, should be doing, especially not when as far as he knew, there were no nobles of the other nations in attendance, assuming they even had nobles.

"Well sir, look on the brightside, think of the impression our allies would get if they had to work with Vernay" one of his aides said.

"By the gods man, don't get me thinking along those lines" he said as his vessel approached Epsilon Prime.

The comm officer opened a comm channel and the commodore spoke, "This is Commodore Kuzak of the 4th line regiment, Veredian Space Navy, representing the Joint VSN, Vernay, and Mercenary forces of Veredia, requesting permission to join the conference."

Yet how come they came just with convercing with the Torontonians. "Klshy'a" he said aloud. WHy did that name sound so familiar? His mind ached. Then it struck him knew why. He flew off the bed. Then fell to his knees. His head felt as if it were imploding. He grabbed his head in agony.

He found himself in the building in from before. It was carpeted with a royal purple rug. there were monstrous spider webs like steel cables. The shelves were empty with layer upon layer with stank dust. Then he saw it. The pedestal with that book. Seeing no immidiate danger Maxwell walked upto it. it was open, the pages were yellow and cracked, it was ancient beyond any recognition. The language looked similiar to Eldarian, but no quite.

Something sharp tore throgh his midsection. Blood ran from his mouth. He looked down and saw a knarly glowing sword. It kicked him off the blade. It's weight crushed his ribs as it stood on his chest preparing to kill him.

Once he had gotten the writhing to stop, he looked at him "What's wrong" the High Admiral said worredly "Are you having some sort of Episode? Can we do anything for you?" After that the Medics came in and sat him back up on the bed, hooked up to Medical Equiptment.

He left the room and went to the Comm. Chamber, he hailed the Metallinautian vessel and requested some of their people, telling them about the Admirals condition, perhaps they knew more about this problem.
Neo-Kalandria
29-11-2004, 04:27
The Neo-Kalandrian vessel watched silently as it passed by all the action. A gloomy mood had settled across the vessel, who’s crew believed they were only minutes away from being crushed by either this “Demon” fleet, or the alliance of ESUS members.

At any rate, they could have shown themselves to these forces who technically were their allies. But the timing would be poor. As far as the Metallinautians, the Torontonians, and the Veredians knew, the Kalandrians had been absent from any interstellar activity for the past 50 years.

What’s more, a member of the Council of the Dark Alliance itself, was onboard this vessel. One of the 7 highest-ranking members of the Dark Alliance was onboard the warship. It was unusual for a Council Member be move away from Final Triumph, the official residence of the Council.

These were unusual times.

They had spent most of their time remaining hidden and watching the events unfold, monitoring communications, and learning as much as they could about their neighbors. It was true that the Metallinauts system was the closest System to the Neo-Kalandria sector. Still, the two worlds were quite a considerable distance from each other.

The Council Member onboard had taken a keen interest in these events, and had thus altered the course and mission of the ship to suit his curiosity. The Council Members were all assigned odd code names, in order to protect themselves better. They were carrying “Jealousy”.

Jealousy, like all of 7 Council Members was a tall, twisted, gnarled humanoid. He was old, and his hands, the only part that was visible, were long and bony. His voice was cold crackly.

Jealousy held nothing except the Dark Alliance in high esteem. To him, everything had to follow immediately, or be conquered. This viewpoint had remained the same, but lately, at the behest of “Fury” the rules of the game were changing.

Contact with the ESUS had been reestablished, trading permitted. Jealousy marveled at the magnificence of the Demon fleet. How he wished to be more like them, free and destructive beyond his wildest dreams. Jealousy felt a personal connection with these creatures.

“If we could forge some sort of alliance,” he wheezed, “these Demons would make excellent foot soldiers.”

Maxwell awoke to a tranquil room. the breeze swept sweetly in through an open window, dancing with a fine silken cuurtain. He sat up and swung over the edge of the bed. He walked through the emmense room to the main chamber. He saw his envoy teaching gourd how to play lithua, an old Metallinautian card game. He walked silently down the steps to the floor at which they were on. Maxwell sat down, "Deal me a hand' he told the envoy. Over the game in which lasted several hours. During this time he told them everything he saw in his episodes.

-In the Eye of Terror-
Demon King Ra'Slannesh sat on his throne, like a wild beast about to lunge on it's prey. He was a hellish sight to see, his many horns protrude through his disfigured skull. His face was a gnarlish ball of crimson flesh. His eyes jutted out of their awful sockets like red flares. The awful king rose out of his blood drenched throne to 'attend' to his guest. This guest of honor was an Eldarian Prince. The poor soul was strapped to a wall by his peeling flesh. His body was fully mutilated, entire chunks of flesh and bone were missing. The poor creature loathed his existence. The creatures tryannical torture and host lumbered toowards him. "Where is the Library?" Ra'Slannesh inquired innocently. Suddenly, the king was awareof a strong evil force. He strode over to the portal in his chamber. He muttered some curse and a liquid spread accros a window covering the distant stars. He saw 'jealousy', but not his corperal form, his spiritual form. The soul was black and twisted, an excellent ally in a time such as this.

Flash!

The King stood in front of the Neo-Kalandrian council member. "You desire to be our allies. We have much to discuss." he said every word laced with putrid deciet.

"Ah! Your awake! I judge you're feeling better, no?" Gourds inquired

"Yes, now, let me join you, I have much to tell" Replied the Admiral, sitting down

Over the period of a few hours the Admiral poured out all his information about his traumatic experiences, when it was over, Gourds had this to say

"Well, it seems that these Demon's have a personal vendetta agaisnt you and your people, now I know its because of your Eldarian Heritage, but why are they attacking now? Instead of one hundred years ago? or even a thousand? What makes now so special?"

"Yes..." he wheezed. "There is much to be discussed, much to be desired..." Jealousy's voice trailed off. He signalled the massive demon to follow him, and nonchalantly left the bridge.

For such a massve demon as the King was, the humanoid vessel was rather spacious. The corridors were wide and tall, built for comfort and transportation of the most powerful beings in the Dark Alliance.

They approached a wide set of doors cleanly labeled, The Map Room. The room was circular in shape and domed. The lights dimmed and the doors shut, causing a giant 3D map to explode to life.

"You are fighting a great battle." Jealousy said simply. The current sector was highlighted and enlarged. "You have the man power, but lack technology sufficient enough to devastate your opponents." The most recent battle was replayed. "Your list of enemies grows greater with every passing day," Jealousy sneered. "We are willing to assist you," his words lingered. "Technology, improved shields and engines, this we are willing to dedicate," Jealousy continued, "in exchange, when the time comes, we shall expect certain...assistance..." Jealousy paused.

"Are these terms acceptable?"

The Demon grinned widly. He could feel the lust for power growing in Jealousy's soul. His soul was so delightfully blackened and twisted. If the rest of his race was as he, they would most certainly be great assets.

"Yes, your alligience is demanded, not requested. If you chose to ally with those,... Eldar, you will see our true power. You have the potential for greatness. Yet, you are nieve beyond comprehension." The Demon Clicked an image into the concil member's head.

He saw a horde of no less than 1 Trillion Demons, in a knarling sea. Their mangled bodies heaping on top of each other. They were beckoning to be realesed and ravage hell on the Universe. He then felt his body being flown out into space. The sight that was before him was not only awe inspiring, but horrific.

Before him was the Demon Craftworld, a full 1897 Kilometers in length. Towers and weapons batteries jutted from it's surface as if they were quills on some awful monster. Around it buzzed thousands of never before seen ships. These were unlike the ones encountered at Epsilon Prime. The were much more highly advanced. They possessed superior firepower when compared to thos that battled the Torontonians and Metallinauts. There were a few hundred ships that resembled the Hellish Child. Then a swarm of several thousand battlecruisers came around.

They were then back in the ship. "You see we are capable of Destroying the Metallinauts and Torontonians, though together they make a potent foe. We are virtually incapable of destroying the Eldar. They possess superior technology and also can hide from us in the warp. Though when they are in real space we can find them with the greatest of ease. You will aid us in fighting the two pests, it is the Eldar you will deal with as well. You help us win and we can make you more powerful then all the other council member combined. Imagine it you alone, possesing the capacity to destroy worlds in a mere thought. I find these terms much more acceptable." he said.

Gourd looked at the Metallinautian Admiral, he had left him alone for a few hours, and had come back after reciving an interesting new advance. He approached the Admiral with something small and white in his hand. As he neared the Admiral looked up, and the High Admiral grinned, he had good news, or so he hoped.

He extended his hand and opened it, revealing the two dull white semi-cicles in it.

"These are fresh off the line technologies, and I wish for you to be the first to try them, you seem to be having such difficulty getting rest, due to these visions, it left us wracking our minds for reasons, and then we got it, you Metallinautians, you're telepathic aren't you? This led us to thinking, perhaps these Demons are telepathic as well, and so, these were in final testing and they were assembled today, the first of billions, although citizens will have it implanted, you get the honour of choosing if you want to wear them.

They are Teledisrupters, they act like a firewall between your brain and outside thoughts, which keeps telepaths from probing you mind, and hopefully, stop these visions from recurring, it works both ways however, you will no longer be able to use any inherient telepathic ablities you have either, but still, I belive it a small sacrifice to make, although wearing them is completely up to you." The High Admiral said as he placed the ornements on the table

"When your feeling better, I wish to meet you in the Meeting chambers, the're marked on the map, so you should have no problem finding it, especially with this"

He pulled out a small pad which contained an interactive map on the display, as well as a tiny flashing icon in the corner.

"It's interfaced with the Building AI, so if you Do get lost, it'll help you find your way back"

"Really? I think I might just take you up on that" Maxwell said stretching his arm out.

"Do not take them" Elnya's voice resonated in his head.

"Did you hear that?" Maxwell said suddenly his senses jolted awake.

"We need your mind to be clear, you are our only hope..." Elnya's voice trailed off.

He saw Gourd staring at him.

Maxwell rose out of his seat, "Tell me you heard that. Elnya, she's alive. How? Her ship was blown apart." he ranted out loud. He glanced back at Gourd who was now seemingly concerned about the Admiral's welfare. "She told me to not take these. She said 'you are our only hope'. What does that mean Gourd?" Maxwell inquired of his friend.

They then walked out of the Room to the confrence. This was the most pivitol moment in Maxwell's life. Here he would discover his true role in not just the galaxy, but all of the Multiverse.

Meanwhile in the Demon Realm

Ra'Slaanesh thundered into his chair onboard his Craftworld. His snarling teeth bared in his hellish smile. His damned crew was bustling around his bridge with purpose. He waved his arm and a liquid pool appeard in front of him and took disc shape. A quick muttering incation and Jeaousy appeared in the rippling pool.

"Set course for Epsilon Prime. Send all you can, we will rock the very foundations of the Torontonians. They do not yet know the true meaning of Fear." he barked at Jealousy. The Pool disappeared.

The Fleet formed upo and was now ready. The pieces were set for the first hammer strike.

The High Admiral just stared at the Admiral in confusion, he replyed

"May I remind you, with the utmost respect, that my race is Psyonically inept, we cannot hear 'voices in our head' so to say. Although we could be mentally invaded, thats what these are for" He said, gestering to the implants he held in his hands.

Anyway, let us go, the meeting is about to start. The two admirals strode down the hall untill they got to the local tram station, that ferried the peoples between the high security buildings. They arrived at a elegant, pristine white building and entered, after walking down a series of hallways, they arrived at a pair of massive wooden doors, they apeared to have some wear on them, as well as some scorch marks. The High Admiral gestered to them

"These doors are the only things that were left in parliment when the Anti-Communist revolution swept the corrupt government out of power, these doors, once the guardians of the innards of government, were the only things left standing after wide spread bombings on the Capital wiped that sector out. We took it as a sign, and when this facility was built, they were imported all the way from earth. It is fitting that they now guard the entrance to the Walzburg Room, where only the highest diplomatic meetings take place" He swung them open to reveal a room with a great table, they were apparenly the first to arrive, and the High Admiral took his seat.

"Refreshments are in the corner" He said, pointing to a moderate table filled with goods

Bump

-Metallinauts, NK seems to have dropped out of the RP, and now it is dangerously close to dying, we either need to get new people in, or just drop it and move on, which would be a shame, as this was a great story.
