"OH GOD! OH GOD! GET THEM AWAY FROM ME!" shrieked one of the soldiers, firing a submachine gun over the barricade at the oncoming horde.

They shambled, fell, and groaned. But the oncoming tide of virus-infested zombies continued to come forward. They just wouldn't die!

"Sir, we can't hold this position!" shouted one of the soldiers.

"Don't even think about it, marine!" roared Captain Steele, pulling out pistols Akimbo-style and taking aim on one of the closer monstrosities. The dim, sputtering lights cast a dull red glow over the charcoal black of his battle armor. He fired and fired until his pistols clicked. Empty. The barrier rattled as hundreds of hands tore at it. Steele looked backwards and saw one of the infantrymen get pulled over it with a scream. He had to hold this position! The zombies were appearing all over the state capital of Delar. This avenue was a critical one...it led into the heart of the city, and the U.S.S. military base where evacuations were underway.

Steele slammed a new clip into his pistol and began backpedaling to buy time as the undead tide swarmed over the top of the barricade. He pressed a hand to the boom mike attached to his helmet. "Command, this is Steele. We are being overrun. We need reinforcements, NOW!" he snapped, then grabbed a pump-action shotgun. He blasted one zombie form out of its' boots, then brought the butt of the weapon down on the head of another.

Hell had come to Polaris Island.

The Armed Republic of Haven sends a message to whoever is in charge telling them that they are going to vaporize the capital and help rebuild it and to eveacuate as many as possible or lets us know what you need.

If no official can be reached. Haven14 Fighters began to scramble and the Frkan Etju Aircraft Carrier Begans toward the island. The Fighter are equiped with enough explosives to vaporize the capital.

OOC: Looks good but I think you should have got some RPers together prior to the RP so you can have a solid base without anyone joining.

After reading the document that had been handed to him only moments ago, Alex Dyrell Sighed. There had been another outbreak, this time on the Island of Polaris. He called a meeting of his Officials to figure out what was to be done.

"Gentelmen" He started "There has ben another outbreak of this IG Virus. I beleive it is absolutley imparitive that we intervene to prevent the spread of the disease. Are there any suggestions for a prefered course of action?"

The room was silent for a moment until a small man in the back called through "I beleive it would be a great mistake not to capture samples of this Virus, so that someday it may be controlled and used as a Weapons. To market such a Virus would bring in Billions in revenue."

Alex Nodded, then looked to the rest of the room for more suggestions.

"It is obvious that we must send a force to illimate the infected people of Polaris Island." Mentioned a larger man near the front "We all know what happened last time we failed to send a force.."

All the men agreed.

"I beleive we cannont take any chances here, oh Benevolent Dictator. We must Destroy all inhabitants of the Island before the Virus gets a chance to spread and do more damage then it already has. I beleive that a Nuclear strike is nesesary. Perhaps me can test one of our new B-61 thermonuclear bombs, or our Equite I ICBM's. If it is not the prefered method of elimination, I beleive it should be included as a failsafe plan."

Alex nodded once again. The room was quiet for a minute as he thought over the possibilities. Finally he gave them his decision.

"We shall send a large force to invade the Island, attacking the Infected head on, destroying as many as we can. We shall gather as many samples of the living Virus, so that it may be cultured and possibly developed into a Marketable Weapon. Also, we shall send two B-61 thermonuclear bombs, should the need for sudden anihalation come upon it. I leave it to you men to decide what size of force shall go. I expect the report in my office within the hour."

With that Alex left the room and returned to His Main office. the Large Cherrywood Desk was in some strange resemblance of organized Chaos. He sat down in the large soft leather arm chair and waiting patiently. Less then 35 minutes later a telefax came in...

regretfully, Blacktower must pull its forces from this engagment as there is an upcoming battle in which they shall be required. If needed we shall detonate one of our Nuclear Bombs upon the island to wipe out any history of this outbreak, just give us the word.

All fleets and units are en-route to Blacktower, save one Aircraft carrier and its support, along with one B-52 and the heavy payload.

Actually, FWS sold it ages back, loads of people bought it and now it is kind of on the viral blackmarket.

DA didnt make it, FWS did (my god that was ages ago - I only just realised) and it did leak out from him. I have a bit that I won for being the only one to correctly guess how long it would take AMF to crush Austo-Hungary. <.<

Remember NWV? He secretly sold it to me when there was an IG virus outbreak in his nation.

OOC: I see. Im considering ignoring the virus, not because what it does is impossible (it's perferctly possible to destroy higher brain functions) but because of how people think this affects the victims. They would still die just like normal people. Their muscles can't contract without energy and they need to breathe and eat and have a blood supply for that, and the brain has to regulate it, so although they could theoretically lose limbs and keep going, they could only keep going for as long as they didnt suffer massive blood loss, which isnt very long. A well placed shot in the heart or head would be just as effective as against a normal human, and why your lower brain functions would encourage you to kill every human you see I dont know...

All 50,000 DST men stood in front of their Sk0-100h battle attack drop ship.

The DST's piled onto their Sko, and took off towards the island

ETA: 4 hours.

"President Janky!" General Nather yelled running down the hall to the office "Sir...Take a look at this" "Oh my god...." He dropped the papers "We have to help those people" send in all the ODSTs we have." "But S-" "NOW!"
The ODST Commander walked up to the stage as 10 million ODSTs stood infront of him. "There is an infestation! We must stop it dead in its tracks before it spreads here! Gather your weapons and prepare for anything!" He walked off the stage and soldiers started scramling to the 50 Large Frigates, they would then drop down to the surface of Polaris and then go into the capitol city and destroy anything that was dead and walking.

The ODSTs Hailed out of the Frigates above the Polaris Island in their Drop Pods, minutes later all ODST forces were in the city "Sir theres nothing here!What the hell?" the Pvt. stared dwon at a young woman curled up in featle pos. nexxt to the wall "Ma'm are you--AHHH, IT BIT ME!" he fired 3 rounds of his Magnum Pistol into the Things Head. Another soldeir yelled "Heh, Theres Nothing here?" The bitten soldier kept on going not knowing what was going to happen to him in a matter of hours. "Sir...Im feeling a little dizzy" "Keep it together sodleir" They headed to the capitol building.

The DST's first wave of 150 men landed with out problems.

The DST's began to move out, towards a half burnt hotel buliding pressing on in a v shape formation...
