In a flurry of civil rights and economic recovery, the small nation of Stonesylvania has declared itself a sovreign nation. Based in ferverant nationalism, a single leader has been placed at the head of government. Seraphina A. Stratafyre, the leader of this new nation, was a major player in getting foreign interets to invest in the area. The government is set up with a representative legislature and court system, however, President Stratafyre has absolute veto power over anything that passes through either.
Not particularly viable as an agrarian culture, Stonesylvania's industry is what has allowed it to forge a strong economy. Factories are constantly churning out materials, which is sold at premium prices to nearby countries within the rapidly growing region of Dithrivia.
President Stratafyre has stated on many occasions that her major efforts will be in creating a formidable military, as well as stamping out crime in the major cities of Stonesylvania.
