OOC: this is not for preparing an invasion. These mobilizations are for self defense and warning's we've heard.
President Williams held a secret meeting with his joint chiefs at 10 am. at 11 am he left cursing at what he had learned and what would have to happen.
Williams was a politician and never liked war, but it looked like that was going to be happening. It was decided that he would have to call up 500,000 regular army troops, 45,000 marines, the whole Navy, and the whole Air Force. The rest of the army and marines were told to be ready along with all reserves for possible call-ups.
Williams held a lunch time meeting with is Press Secretary to tell him to make a message that would inform the world about this development. He couldn't say why they were preparing to deploy, but it seemed that it would be bloody if it came to war.
Williams was going to meet with his Economics minister later in the day. The markets would have to be closed and some companies would have to be under government control, including the airlines.
