OOC: Goodbye, all - this is my end thread - those of you who've RPed with a guy named Ninurta, that's the new me.

9:26 AM: Meeting of Top Military Officials
The row of generals looked down at the tired president.
"Sir, this is the best opportunity we've got."
"Why?"
"I'm sorry, sir?"
"Why is this the best chance?"
"This is the most conclusive evidence we've gotten on Mr. Fabus's location in months, sir."
"And why can't we do it months from now, then?"
"I doubt we can keep the fact we have this knowledge a secret very long, sir. Once it gets out, their government won't hesitate to close the gap in their security as forcefully as possible. I doubt we'd get through again for years..."
"So this it?"
"Yes, sir. We're waiting for your go."
The president looked down for a few moments, then looked up. "No."
"Sir?"
"Are you mad? The retaliation would kill everyone on these islands!"
"We're hoping to kill Roger, sir..."
"And then who? Someone who loved him? Curtis, god forbid? Whoever had control right then would annihilate us!"
"We don't believe they'll be able to act that quickly, si-"
"The hell they won't!"
The president stood up, and the generals followed suit. He left angrily.
The Field Marshal looked at one of the lesser generals. "How long would it have been, after go order?"
"Five hours, thirty minutes till missiles launch, another few minutes before they hit."
"Go."
"What?"
"I said go. He doesn't know what he's doing - we do. Hit the place, and kill Roger Fabus dead."

2:34 PM: Televised Speech By The President
"...and that is why I urge all countries to immediately form a united coalition with immediate action against the oppressive, threatening regime of Decisive Action. All those national leaders who are seeing this, I thank you for your decision, whatever it is, as long as it is an informed decision based on your understsanding of the situation. Good afternoon."

2:57 PM: Orbital Weapons Control
"Stalingrad target confirmed. We have launch. I repeat, missiles are launched. Secondary targets set up on primary Mississippian territories."

Ooc- Okay, here goes.

Ic-

At Stalingrad, Roger, Alice, William, and Sylvia were each in different rooms. Roger was pacing back and forth in the kitchen, he'd usually have been in his smoking room for now, but he gave up smoking, at least when Alice was around that is.

William was swimming in a nearby pool, while his wife Sylvia was getting ready for a doctors appointment regarding her unborn child and the upcoming scheduled delivery date.

Alice was in the room adjoining Roger's main smoking lounge, where Roger kept most of his liquor, mixing a drink for him.

Central Air Defense Command, receiving reports from the Air Force Intelligence Command, immediately ordered a full-alarm raised at Stalingrad, as the sirens started to go off, and ZSU-24-3s, and SA-19s, SA-20s, SA-10s, SA-9s, and teams with Stingers and SA-17s ran about readying to intercept and all incoming missiles or hostile craft, the missiles began to come in.

Roger had heard the siren and dove into a nearby pantry, as the walls around the kitchen came crashing in.

His main smoking room was a complete wreck, the twisted steel and destroyed concrete and marble... It was a mess and every room around it was in similar condition.

A trio of SRG immediately rushed to the kitchen, what was left of it, where Roger had been, they dug him out of the rubble and helped him up. He slowly dusted himself off as he shook his head, demanding, "Where is my wife... Where is she?"

One of the guards shook his head, "Sir, she was in the liquor room, next to the smoking room, it was the point of impact..." The guard looked down, "Sir... I'm sorry, it doesn't look good..."

Roger smashed his right fist into a nearby pile of bricks, he smashed so hard that he broke every bone in his hand. "WHO!" he shouted.

One of the guards had a radio, he was getting the information live, as the Strategic Air Command was feeding it to him, "Seryown..." he said.

Roger frowned, "Destroy them... Now... Defcon 1... Now... Now... Now..." He started screaming, "NOW! DO IT NOW!" as the soldier freaked out, not sure he was hearing his Czar right.

Roger ripped the radio from his hands and shouted, "Def Con 1, Seryown, not a drill, repeat, not a drill... Authorization, Czar Roger Fabus...Alpha Charlie Tango One, Eight, Twelve, Sixteen, Zulu, Bravo..."

Around Mississippi, Western Sahara, and Mississippian Egypt, all the words went out, the siloes shut down, sealing themselves in, as the silo doors began to slide open, the thirty second count down beginning.

The approximately fifty of the nearly ninety of the Mississippian SSBNs at sea began to receive their orders to launch. They started to rise to launch depth....

Roger grinned as he rode the elevator down to his bunker, an assistant holding the mobile launch control in his hand, holding it in front of Roger... It hit 0, "Sir, it's ready... You may launch at your leisure..."

Roger noded as the elevator thudded to a halt on the lowest floor of the bunker, "One minute, I want to have a satellite send me live video feed so I can see them just before they die..."

As Roger pressed the button down and sent all the missiles flying from the siloes and the submarines, two of the guards sifting through the ruins of the liquor room, found an unconscious, but alive, Czarina... They pulled her up and immediately radioed to Roger, "Sir, she's alive, abort, abort, abort..."

Roger smiled, "She's well? Great... Get her to the SRG hospital, right away... I'm coming up..."

He grinned as he watched the satellite imagery of the missiles leaving their siloes, inbound for Seryown. "Too late" he whispered.

Meanwhile, in Mississippian Egypt, John Tallmadge took it upon himself to declare a protectorate over Angola and Botswana, two of the Serya possessions in Africa. He immediately dispatched three Commonwealth parachute divisions to secure each, they'd jump in and then secure airfields for infantry and reserve divisions to land in later.

In a few minutes, the missiles would hit Seryown. For now, the "Project White Light" came online and fifty satellite based nuclear ICBMs with 10 MIRVS each, fired off towards Seryown to target all their potential retaliatory capability, they'd be hit before they knew what hit them...

"Captain!!!", shouted Lieutenant Stevens. "I'm detecting mutiple missiles activations across Mississippi! Confirmed land based, I can't get a good reading on any SSBNs, but I know they're out there too!"

Agawa's eyes widened in shock and fright. "Contact high command! We can't do anything to stop Fabus now."

The air around Sector 12, the nations capital, was uneasy. Word was circulating about a possible attack on Decisive Action, the Emperor would not be pleased. Inside the capital tower people were rushing about, preparing their reports and dossiers. The council had been convened when the events occured, the first person to enter the room was a intelligence agent. The man approached the Intelligence Secretary. He gave him a plain paper envelope which contained the initial report. The Intelligence Secretary opened the envelope, read it and dismissed the agent.

"It appears there has been some sort of attack on Stalingrad, Mississippi."

The room erupted into gasps and grumbles. The Emperor hammered a gavel to silence the room.

Emperor: "Where did the attack originate?"

Intel: "Seryown. Well, the satellites tracked the projectile's path and traced it back to them."

Emperor: "And the Fabus family?"

Intel: "Best guess, they are dead."

Louder murmurs and talking erupted across the room, several council members called for military action against Seryown.

Emperor: "Silence! We will respond, but we must be careful with the waters we are treading on. We must know for sure that this was their action and not the action of a rogue."

The Military Secretary nodded, "We are prepared to deploy 30 thousand rapid response. I suggest, however, that we respond with conventional missiles. The strongest response we can make without going nuclear."

The Emperor sighed, "We cannot abandon our ally. I concur that we should make a strong and.... Just how did we get this information?"

Intel: "Well, we had a satellite flying over, it is officially a communications relay satellite."

The Emperor: "Hmmm..."

The Intelligence agent walked into the room and handed the Secretary another envelope.

Intel: "Seryown is gone. Dead. A nuclear wasteland."

Several council members clapped, several others looked visibly upset.

The Emperor: "I suggest we wait and see what develops."

The council moved onto the next matter on the agenda.

Roger then turned and spoke into his cellular phone, having arranged for the message to be broadcast via the White Peoples Radio and Television Network, to the entire word..

"This is Czar Roger Fabus, after a failed attempted on my life, resulted in what I believed to be the murder of my wife, however it turns out she is alive but severely injured, I retaliated against the would-be assassins for their cowardly and cruel attack against women and children... By the time you hear this, Seryown will be no more... Over twenty thousand nuclear warheads, from over a thousand missiles, will have ended their miserable existence and brought their reign of terror to and end. Let this be a warning to any out there who would mean to do the Fabus family harm, I will not hesitate to utterly destroy you, if you harm a Fabus... That is all."

Stevens jumped again, "Now we've got multiple orbital launches!"

"ABMs!", the captain shouted.

"They're already out of range. We didn't even detect their powerup."

"Bllody hell!" A worker at the Commissariat of War in Erse yelled out. There were many similar calls.

"SLBMs, everywhere!" Another called out.

Commissars rushed over to the Junior Commssars. The intercom system opened turned on.

"Comrades, Decisive Action, home to the bastard Fabus family, has just launched over two thousand nuclear missiles in the direction of Seryown. They will be dead with a few minutes. Over one billion people will die by the time you finish hearing thing. It is regretful that this has happened, and it is more regretful that we can do nothing about it.

Comrades, this is unacceptable. Please note that a vote on the condemnation of Decisive Action will take place at 8 PM Halladi Standard Time. Peace and solidarity, comrades.

The building was booming with activity. The message was soon relayed throughout Hallad. By order of the Commissariat of War, the countrys' "Air-Defense Grid was on Orange Alert.

At Parliament, the gathered House of Deputies saw what had happened. Alec rose to speak.

"This is an example of what WE must not do- the world cannot afford to suffer another Seryown. We must work together to prevent massacres like this from ever happening again- we could've gone nuclear over Delaware, I know." He pointed an accusatory finger at the Liberal caucus. "Many of you wanted to. I will not allow this to happen again."

Afterwards, Parliament declared a week of national mourning for the tragedy in Seryown.

Roger decided that Seryown must be completely destroyed, he ordered every single of the 500,000 special SCUD launchers throughout the Federation and Commonwealth to launch two missiles at Seryown. One containing a chemical warhead (VX) and the other containing a biological warhead (varies from IG, IG-BS, Anthrax, Ebola, Plague, Ricin, etc)

The mobile launchers all stopped, wherever they were, almost simultaneously they stopped... They raised the missiles up and fired. Streaking through the sky with beautiful jets of orange and yellow shooting out behind, destined for the major population centers, it was a second strike meant to finish off whoever hadn't died in the nuclear strike.

Speaking via the White Peoples Radio and Television Network, John Tallmadge of Mississippian Egypt had the following to say, "We welcome Angola and Botswana into the Commonwealth, seeing as Seryown probably lies in ruins, and all her people are dead, and it is quite likely that Czarina Alice Fabus is the only ethnic Serya left in the world, it is fitting she owns the land. Thus, in the name of the Czarina, we lay claim to Angola and Botswana, they shall henceforth be administered as provinces of Mississippian Egypt and Mississippi for the greater glory of God... Hail the Czarina!"

Ooc- Factbook edited to reflect my claim to Angola and Botswana, well not my claim, Tallmadges claim. They're technically just provinces of Mississippian Egypt that happen to be many thousands of miles away from the main land of Mississippian Egypt.

Almost immediately after being informed that Seryown has been completely destroyed, the Empress ordered a meeting of her advisors. They were gathered around her office, watching as she paced. One of them spoke.

“What do you make of this, Empress?”

She sighed and answered, “I do not thing there is a word to describe such an atrocity. I wish there was something we could do, but there is nothing. I dare not interfere. For now, we wait and watch.”

"General Sandoval," reported a satellite operator, "The SATINT network has indicated that Seryown has launched a suicidal strike against Decisive Action.

At approximately 0800 hours, Seryown ALCM platforms were launched at DA possessions in Mississippi, evidently with the intent of assassinating Roger Fabus and decapitation of the government.

Unfortunately, the result was failed, and caused the subsequent nuclear annihilation of Seryown by twenty thousand nuclear missiles, whose launches were detected by satellites RAVEN-II and RAVEN-IV."

Casimir Sandoval was the head of the Tyrandis Satellite Command, which oversaw everything pertaining to orbital military operations. He had personally ordered the annihilation of Zarbia City by space-launched tungsten rods, resulting in the deaths of millions.

And yet, even that abominable act paled in comparison to the atrocity committed by the Mississippian government...

The old man turned visibly white at the information. Composing himself, he analyzed the situation...

"Well then... if they used that many uranium-based weapons against Seryown, their strategic stockpiles must be almost completely depleted... however, we must ascertain this information. If it is true that they cannot retaliate effectively any longer, a few TSSM-19 LUCIFER 4th generation nuclear weapons should be capable of wiping that disgusting state off the face of the earth."

The wheels of the Tyrandisan intelligence community began to turn, gathering information...

Fabus Island's defensive batteries were fully activated (As they always are, whenever things seem iffy, and most are on during total peacetime anyway)

Salvoes of guided missiles crashed down throughout Fabus Island, about 80% were intercepted by a combination of SDI systems and ground interceptor systems such as Patriots and other SAMs, but about 20% managed to get through, causing extensive damage to the coastal resort towns in the eastern and southern parts of the island. Over 400 civilians and 900 soldiers were either killed or wounded in the attacks. The main port was also heavily damaged and knocked out of use, it'd be at least ten weeks to repair it. As was the main civilian airport.

Mississippi scrambled over 5,000 various fighter and attack aircraft to intercept the Serya ships and plans inbound for the Mississippian coast and the Fabus Island area. 1,000 were the venerable MiG-41 Good Ole Boy, the majority of the rest were either F-14s or F-16Ds, they were streaking out from their bases at maximum speed to intercept the approaching hostiles.

The Central Commonwealth Intelligence Command had authorized a tertiary strike of Special SCUD Missiles, over 100,000 more bio-chemical weapons would be launched at what little was left of Seryown... Already most of Seryown was likely a mass of ruins, and most of the Serya satellites would fall victim to Anti-Satellite missiles that were about to be launched.

Over 200 anti-satellite missiles were launched as the 100,000 Special SCUDs were launched. Little would be left of the Serya war effort.

The massive collection of Serya ships, in the Atlantic were targeted by 2 Mississippian Satellite Based ICBMs, each containing 10 MIRVs... In a few minutes, little would be left of the main Serya fleet. The Czar didn't care about the environmental impact this would have on the mid-Atlantic, he smiled as he said, "The ocean will live... Seryown will die..."

He pressed the button down again and the tertiary bio-chemical strike began, the anti-satellite strike began, and the satellite based anti-naval strike began. It was an orchestra of death, perfectly synchronized and planned with great precision.

Ooc- .... and take the Lord's name in vain...

[OOC: You conservative clown. I bet you voted Bush too. Why do you always ignore those you disagree with for no-good reason? Not that it's any loss, you've probably ignored me as it is, but it's amateur. And news for you buddy. THERE IS NO GOD! We are all part of the same collective consciousness! Upgrade your mind man!!! :) ]

[I bet you voted Bush too.

Well then I'd have a nice chunk of your money...

I didn't vote for that clown because I'm no conservative, I'm a revolutionary, I want to tear down the current social order and rebuild it, let society regenerate, but there are some obstacles that we as a people must overcome to social and moral regeneration.
