Decisive Action

"This is Joseph Mladic, speaking via the White Peoples Radio and Television Network. We now go live to a very important message from our glorious Czar, Roger Fabus, concerning Africa and North America."
"As Czar of the Mississippian Federated Commonwealth, currently encompassing the lands of Mississippi, Fabus Island, Tennessee, Kentucky, Indiana, Ohio, Western Sahara, and Mississippian Egypt, there are certain interests that our Commonwealth has, and certain interests that I must constantly make moves to assure are met and secured."
"As a citizen of planet Earth, there are certain moral issues that would be raised for myself on a personal level. Such as, if, in the face of threatened imperial expansion into regions where we have a regional presence, and can stop it, but do nothing, we would be guilty of allowing our North American and African brothers fall victim to the plague of imperialism and colonialism. A plague which has for far too long kept the weak oppressed by the strong, the pacifist by the war monger, and the quiet and reserved by the loud and effusive."
"As the Czar of a nation that likes to consider himself a significant military power in both Africa and North America, I must therefore take steps to assure that freedom reigns supreme on both of these continents. I have spoken with my generals, my advisors, and the cabinet, and have concluded that we can and will do the right thing. It is well within our capability, and so we have no alternative but to do it, for that which is right and can be done, but is not done, would be to do a grievous injustice to the world. For we are capable and strong, and so we shall act."
"From this day forward, it shall be the policy of Mississippi and the Commonwealth nations, to regard any expansion by a foreign power into North America or Africa, as a hostile maneuver against Mississippi himself, requiring immediate military action to repel the expansion and correct the problem. We shall not sit idly by and allow Africa and North America to be raped and pillaged to death. From this day forward, we stand proudly next to our brothers in North America and Africa, and we can say loud and for all to hear, "We are with you, united we stand, against the rising tide of despotism, united in the struggle that encompasses all men, the struggle to breathe free.'"
"Lastly, Mississippi reserves the sole right to assure the continued stability, economic and otherwise, of his Commonwealth nations and his homeland, using any and all means deemed necessary. This may include but not be limited to, the use of military forces, when absolutely necessary, to correct problems in Africa and North America. If there is a compelling reason for military intervention in a given nation, then there will be a close examination and a cabinet discussion lasting many weeks. We will not leap into commitments without first taking our time to make sure that the situation presents a problem that is a clear and evident threat to Mississippian interests."
"Good night, and God bless."
