NOTE: This RP is open to all nations with a fantasy (elves, trolls, etc.), past (cavemen, Crusaders, and Communists, and everything in between), or modern tech level. Due to the chaos that ensued with the other thread, no future tech nations will be allowed.

We are at 1940s tech level, and simply cannot deal with the disaster that has befallen us. Our military forces have been disbanded in the name of pacifism and the police force has been suspended for allegations of racism. Our nation's terrain is relatively arid and hilly, and there are some desert areas, similar to Mexico.
Some kind of virus, perhaps it's not even that, is eating up our citizens.
Some sort of meteor struck the southern city of Konigston early in the morning today, at approximately 3:30 AM. It was relatively small and slammed into a tanker truck, igniting the area, and providing with whatever was on that asteroid with lots of energy.
Konigston is now in a state of chaos- most have fled and looting has become rampant, but we ask that you do not try to stop it. We have to be understanding to the poor who have no other choice but to take what they can and flee.
Signs of illness began to appear four days later when people began to flood People's Emergency Service lines. People complained of dizzyness, lack of energy, and other symptoms remeniscent of leukemia. However, things soon escalated into an emergency when people started dying on the streets, literally disentigrating into dust, except for their bones.
Recon flights over the area have proven disastrous, as some Populist Park Service aircraft (in this case, Soviet-built I-153 biplanes) reported that control cables were snapping and parts of the aircraft were disentigrating shortly before the aircraft crashed.
An estimated 350,000 are already dead. We need assistance, badly.
Please send assistance to:
A: Somehow identify this virus.
B: Somehow stop its spread.
C: Somehow clean it up.
If anything else comes up, such as the recently-publicized "Acigoo monsters", then we ask that you do not fire unless fired upon. We ask that you not bear arms in heavily populated areas, if necessary- we have banned all weapons or objects that could possibly be used as a weapon. Besides, weapons are scary.
If at all possible, do not try to destroy wildlife.
The disaster zone is now a 25 km circle from the epicenter. Prevailing winds are blowing the object in the north direction, towards the heavily populated city of Heveninsberg. Please, help!
Do not bother asking permission to help, just tell us where you are and where you are setting up camp: The town to the west (Ylon City) or the east (Guehag Township). The city is coastal, but the virus may spread to the coast, blocking off all port entry, so do not attempt to land there.
