The United States Of WyattLand elected a new president this morning. The new commander-in-chief, President Spencer, spoke to the press shortly after his election, calling the newly-declared war against Hykin "unconstitutional and invalid". He is asking congress to formally withdraw the declaration of war that was issued by his predecessor, President Wyatt. Meanwhile, President Spencer has ordered all Wyattland military personnel to return home. He has ordered humanitarian aid personnel to remain in Hykin, in case of any damage that may have already been done.
Quote from President Spencer's remarks to the press:
"My predecessor, President Wyatt, declared a war against Hykin when we had no solid evidence or intelligence to indicate that it was them behind the November 5 terrorist attacks. I have asked congress to withdraw the declaration of war against their nation, and my administration sincerely apologizes for any casualties, damage or other problems this may have caused. I have asked that Wyattland humanitarian aid personnel remain in Hykin for the time being, to assist in any help that may be needed due to the initial operations in Hykin that have, unfortunately, already taken place. I am also asking at this time that the President of Hykin please contact me as soon as possible regarding this matter. Again, my sincerest apologies to the nation of Hykin and its citizens.
